Awful awful awful customer service. Belittling and demeaning. I honestly thought the business was closed. Apparently her corner lot is the only building the city decided not to refurbish on that corner. Verbally attacking construction workers doing their job in the road (City property) while filming them. Also tried to goad them into an altercation while filming. She's obviously in dire straights judging by the business appearance

If I could give a 0 star I would absolutely give a 0 star I just drove 45 minutes wasted $6 on parking For this so called business owner or stylist whatever she is to tell me that booksy she got it all wrong it was all booksy hes while taking 0 it's taking 0 responsibility I will never come back nor recommend. During the pandemic so many businesses went under. This one should have!

My boyfriend was looking for a specialist to do his love. He has been looking for years and finally found this place. Set an appointment did still have to wait but the wait was worth it. Yes it's more expensive than other places but for the quality you can't beat this. He was so improved and refreshed this is now his new hair care home!

Unfortunately, I tried to go here considering the reputation they have for doing natural hair. I should have known based on their horrible and old looking website, that something wasn't right. I made an appointment. Took off from work to enjoy the day. Showed up 10 mins early because I value people's time and businesses. No one was there.

I called. The woman who answered had a HUGE attitude. ENORMOUS! She didn't care that I was a new customer. She didn't care that I was on time, early. She told me she was running 10-15 mins late, and "if it was a problem, you can just leave.". Wow! Needless to say.it doesn't matter how good you are at doing hair if you don't understand good business and customer service practices. Fail.

I was in Atlanta for the weekend and was excited to get my hair done. I'm not sure if the salon is in transition but it looked closed from the outside, thick curtains blocking all windows. I thought it might be out of business. As soon as you walk in, there are piles of boxes and junk on the floor. In the back, there are two chairs but the place barely looks in business.

Maybe I should have left then but I had a brief conversation with the stylist, who is the only one who works there. She wasn't too friendly and told me it'd probably be awhile when I asked her how long until she was ready for me. She had someone else just sitting down in the chair. I thanked her and left. I was disappointed because I'm familiar with the Oakland salon and had heard wonderful things. Was hoping to have a great experience, unfortunately it was anything but that.

I got a wash, detangle and blow out on my hair by Erika and I loved it! The first thing Erika said when she touched my hair was "wow you have really nice hair". Coming from salons that would cringe when they saw my head of 4c hair, that meant so much! I immediately felt comfortable. Erika was gentle and talked to me about what she thought was going on with my hair. Based on her suggestion I got a much needed trim and my hair has looked amazing ever since.

Once it was time to wash my hair again my curls were so tight, shiny, and defined. I couldn't believe it. I can't wait to come back and will make this a routine even if it's just a wash and go. Thank you Erika! I fell in love with my hair again!

Looked in the mirror and loved what I saw when she finished my hair. It was actually the first time in a long time that happened right out of the chair. I had an event that night and a tight schedule. She was able to work me in on a Saturday! Not only was the hair on point but she gave some really good tips about keeping it healthy. Good energy here.

I recently decided to have a big chop done on my hair. I went to Oh My Nappy Hair because I wanted a place that specializes in my hair texture. I was very nervous because I had never had this done before but when I arrived I noticed that there was nothing to worry about. I was so impressed by the level of flexibility I was shown. I'm grateful I was still able to get my hair cut and she was able to work around what I felt was best for me.

I felt fine after she started. She made sure I was comfortable and I felt that she knew exactly what she was doing. I like my hair cut and I would suggest Oh My Nappy Hair to other people with hair textures like mine.

Very bad customer service the lady didn't take my appointment not only once but twice!. Please take that website down. It is unprofessional to tell a customer through TEXT at 1 AM to call their business through business hours the next day! No sorry y'all are unprofessional never again!

I, in the spur of the moment decided I wanted to get my hair cut. It was my little brothers fraud toon and I had to be cute. I researched salons and when I went I had an absolutely horrible experience. The stylist was rude and she destroyed my hair. Considering the salon I went to was highly reputable and specialized in short haircuts. And I even came in with a picture of what I wanted.

If the stylist couldn't do what I asked she should have said so. Instead she started chilling my hair off and left me with the worst experience I've ever had with getting my hair done. I sat in my car afterwards and CRIED for about an hour. Erica saved my life!, even though she normally doesn't do same day appointments she heard the distraught in my voice and told me to come on in. Erica knows natural hair and what you can do with it and what you should do with it.

She had to trim my hair some more because the original cut was so uneven. I legit sat in the chair with tears streaming down my face as she worked because I was still so upset. but after she finished and styled it I couldn't stop smiling. My hair looks fantastic! I love my short hair. I've never cut my hair before in my life! And I knew I was doing something ridiculously drastic! If you want your natural hair cared for and treated right this is the place to be!

The owner is nasty and rude and unimaginably negative. She charges based upon when her rent is due and how much money she has for the month! Although she is somewhat on time for the appointment the vibe is bad and her sister fills in from time to time because she can't keep stylist. Her work is decent but if you no longer love what you do for a living go find your true passion! What a vibe killer! Take your headsets is all I can say!

Absolutely a great experience, as a matter of fact it's a very enlightening & positive culture experience All with "Nappy hair" super curly or slightly curly should peep this shop.much love

Ok natural women if you want a place that actually does natural hair it's in here. Erica is the owner and she's a pretty nice person I got the Bantu Knots and she did an awesome job I will be going back but she is going to have to do something with the dryer it is hot as hell. Check then out its worth the price paid 100.00 dollars for my hair and it lasted a month.

My girlfriend had her hair done at this Nappy Hair. This was a bad day for me because she was basically traumatized for the rest of the day. My woman is smart beautiful and professional. This place is dirty, cheap and basically gets over on it's customers. i doubt they have many regulars. I will not go into detail; But this was an absolute waste of $125.

She has short natural hair. This was a simple trim job and style at the most. Four hours later she just told them not to bother with the style. She paid the money and came home in complete disarray. Use a professional. not them!
