Salon Lotus

I had an incredibly terrible experience with this business. First off, I am wheelchair dependent. When I arrived to the salon, I struggled to get through the door. The receptionist never bothered to help. Second, I was told I had made my appointment at the wrong salon and when I told them I just needed my undercut done (back of head shaved), which would have taken 10 minutes, the receptionist told me that there was no way that anyone would be available to help me today, tomorrow or the next and their was no offer to book a future appointment. Third, when I left the salon and again, struggled with the door, the receptionist did not bother to help. Obviously, this salon does not value me as a person. I feel discriminated against. I left feeling terrible. Someone should explain to this receptionist that those who are disabled are people too.

Antonio knew exactly what to do with my hair. The salon is very nice, and everybody is very friendly. I will definitely be going back.

Today was my first visit at Salon Lotus. My time at the salon far exceeded ALL of my expectations. From the check-in at the reception area, to the shampoo, to the stylist, Antonio, who gave me a cute shorter summer cut, my experience was great. The salon was clean and everyone was super professional. I highly recommend Salon Lotus and Antonio.

Today was my first visit to the salon, and one of my coworkers recommended Rena. She did a great job transforming my hair and is very talented! I had a great experience overall and will definitely go back.

Such a hidden gem! Anitra was my stylist. She is wonderful! I came in with unmanageable problem hair and walked out smooth and sleek. What a miracle worker! The salon is very relaxing. They are practicing covid safe protocols but still so welcoming. Anitra was very helpful and informative with lots of tips to help with managing my hair. Can't say enough positive things about her and the salon.

I was looking for a different stylist due to my last one not listening to what I wanted. I called and spoke with one of the owners and let her know my concerns. She immediately referred me to a color specialist. When I went in for my appointment, I was met in a friendly and inviting way. My stylist was on time. He listened to my needs and concerns and made suggestions on what he thought I would like.

I took all his suggestions and am in love with my hair. As scary as it was to make a change, I took the risk and am so glad I did. I will be back and can now say, I found my new stylist!

LOVE this salon! I was just due for a hair day and the pandemic struck. So my hair had not been touched by a stylist in almost a year . Scheduled an appointment with Antonio and amazingness happened! He perfectly trimmed my hair and got everything back to its healthy self. Everyone is very kind and very professional, they follow all protocols for covid and the salon is very clean. I highly recommend Lotus Salon!

I wanted to do something fun and different with my hair and was looking for a new place to go in the Smyrna area. I am so glad I picked Salon Lotus! They are so nice and SO talented and willing to work with you to achieve any look you want. Antonio worked so hard on my hair and it looks amazing! Would highly recommend this salon! :

Anita always does an amazing job with my hair. All about healthy hair and growth. With the current situation, proper steps being taken to keep everyone safe and area sanitized without impacting service. Staff at front desk professional and friendly per usual. Never had a bad experience since 2011, 9 years I have been coming here. My hair is natural and Anitra gives me great tips and advice on my hair. It has grown and become even healthier over the years.

Welcoming, knowledgeable, and wonderful hair designers! I love a salon that makes you feel pampered, as if you were their only client. The salon is clean and decorated tastefully. What I liked best was that every employee made me feel welcomed, not just my hair designer. I learned that the majority of the employees have worked there for many years. That is telling. A happy employee= a happy customer. I highly recommend!

Fantastic salon, Rana is always on target. Customer service is tops always. Never a bad experience recommend highly!

Stay away. Rude. Poor workmanship. And worst of all terrible customer service. My wife just left in tears after being verbally abused by the stylist.

Amazing salon and great service by everyone. Anitra colored my hair and she is a genius, I couldn't fully explain what I wanted but she somehow knew. Definitely worth every penny, will be going there regularly moving forward

Just got over my severe haircut anxiety thank to Jill, she was fantastic! I put it to the test after seeing some of the positive reviews online. I was a walk in and got seen immediately. First a free glass of wine, which helped calm my nerves after years of bad haircut experiences and wasting money at different salons. She gave me a tour of the great facilities and all the services.

Everything from the staff to the products used was relaxing and put me at ease. She gave me a great consult beforehand then explained everything she was doing through the process of the cut. 10% off the first visit and free bang trims between cuts. Didn't do any color treatment so I can't speak on that but I'd trust them after this experience. Will definitely be back for Jill. And I'm reposting on google 'cause it was super awesome and I pretty much can NEVER say that.

I just had a unique and prima donna experience at this salon lotus. I booked a haircut with stylist Tanya and I mixed up the time, my appointment was at noon and I thought it was at 1pm. When I was about to leave to the salon I got a call and I explained I was on my way. thought I was explained my appointment was at noon, I apologyze and explained the confusion and that if I can book another time with her.

I was told that Tanya has requested not to see me again at all and that if I wanted to go to the salon someone else should see me but I had to call on the day to check if someone had canceled. I was not to make another reservation or be on the books again. I guess Madame Tanya is a super star hairstylist that at this point in her career can have an awful attitude towards a new potential and faithful client, I just moved to Altanta, and I am looking for an always go to hair stylist. but I am a name and a number that can be tossed away.

I hope her clientele of people does not recedes at any point soon, otherwise she might then consider being a little more compassionate or humble. For now, I will keep looking for another stylist that is understanding and moreover appreciative of the value of a new client. This situation does not speaks well of her as a person and the salon either! Perhaps this was for the better.

Absolutely love this salon! Everyone is incredibly nice and I have always felt so welcome. Lauren is my stylist and I can't say enough great things about her! I always get so many compliments on my hair and she is a fellow cat lover like me! I used to go to a different salon in Buckhead for years and I never felt at home there the way I do at Salon Lotus. I won't be going anywhere else but here to get my hair done :-

Went to Salon Lotus after my mom suggested it and had a great experience. I would recommend Keri any time, all the staff was very friendly. Keri explained what she would do to my hair and fixed the color inconsistency I had after previous touchups. The products they use make your hair shiny and their coloring products don't have that strong scent. Will be making this my regular, my hair loved it.

I've been seeing Lauren for two years now and she is fabulous. She has an eye for color and always gets it perfect. Everyone at the salon is friendly and always remembers you. My fiance sees Bill and I am so glad that he does! No more horror haircuts from Great Clips, he actually looks his best on his way out of the salon. It is also very reasonably priced for the quality of service and products!

Very nice staff, gave us exactly what we wanted. It was very pricey, though. For 2 hairstyles and one makeup, it was about $250. Yikes!

I've been going here since 2009, and the only person that cuts my hair now is Lauren! I've donated my hair, and since then, she takes care of me every couple months when its time for a trim! The staff is super nice, and they have great products, but don't push you to buy them. They have customer parties every once in a while, and in the 4 years I've been going there, Lauren knows my whole life story now! I send every one there, and even though I've moved across town multiple times, I have never changed my stylist!

Anitra is the greatest! Thanks to my coworker I now have a stylist less than 20 min from my home and work! : Anitra is still a great stylist, but when someone scheduled my appointment on the wrong day, there was not an apology or an effort to fix it immediately, I was going out of town the next day and the next true appointment wasn't until that next Friday, the appointment that was supposed to be for that day.

I then called another day to make them aware of the issue and the person on the phone didn't bother to rectifiy the situation he just confirmed that my Friday appointment was already canceled. Thanks Salon Lotus!

I came to Salon Lotus as it is close to my work making it convenient to get an appointment during lunch or after work. Katie cut my hair and I was pleased overall - my hair is straight and long so doesn't require any styling. Katie is very personable and easy to converse with. The salon space is warm and inviting and the layout is very nice. Beverages are offered as part of their service.

Upon checkout, Katie lined up every product (from shampoo to finishing) she used on my hair on the counter at which point I was asked what I'd like to purchase. That was the only part of my experience at this salon that turned me off. I'm still on the right salon for me search, but may come back here again.

I got my hair cut by Lauren the other day, and I'm very happy with it. The cut cost $42, which I consider a moderate price. I was offered a variety of drinks when I arrived, and they had cookies and crackers too. The salon has a fun, yet professional atmosphere. It's not high-end and pretentious, which I really liked. Also, the salon is donating all the hair clippings to Matter of Trust, an organization that makes hair mats and booms to soak up oil from oil spills (like the Gulf of Mexico oil spill) out of donated hair, fur, and nylons. I love the fact that I got to pamper myself AND help the environment. I'm definitely going back again.

Anitra at Salon Lotus has been my hairstylist for many, many years. She is the best and I love her! All of the staff is friendly and seem like a family. The prices are less expensive than the pretentious Buckhead salons, and the atmosphere and service are awesome. Don't think you'll be paying Supercuts prices, however. The stylists are of the highest quality and very experienced. You get what you pay for! I love Salon Lotus and have been a loyal customer for years (since before they were named Salon Lotus!).
