We're situated on Sawtelle Blvd. in Los Angeles, where there are many Japanese restaurants, stores and markets, situated next to the pretty city of Santa Monica. We use the finest of Japanese products as well as the finest American and European products. We all use Tokyo style techniques and we're detail oriented.

Love Taka Hair Salon! I have been going to her for over a year. I followed her to taboo after Bungalow closed. She is a true professional and is current on the latest cuts and techniques. She is also super funny and sweet! I'm always indecisive about what I want to do with my hair but she listens and makes great suggestions that fit my style. I am always happy with my hair after seeing Amy and have gotten lots of compliments. Definitely recommend Taka Hair Salon!

On your hair, they use great products and talk well, they don't get any better! Not only does the hairstylist do her job, because this is definitely a place where you need a fast cut, but it goes above and beyond. I have a great laugh with almost everyone who works here and can trust all of them to do a good job. Here, you can't go wrong! A highly recommended service!

I did my very second highlight of alltimes here! I wanted a specific "ash brown color" and had an amazing experience with "Jay", She customized the tones and made the color to my taste. Even after washing and drying it, she made a few changes to my benefit, so I go out of the salon 100% happy! Enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff are all friendly and loved my stylist Jay! - I just wish they were less pricy, so I could go there more often!
