Vivid Tan

Completely refuse to cancel/freeze account even after explaining about no longer having bank account or any type of way to pay. They just want your money.

Showed up at 6:40 on a Saturday to tan. Says they are open until 7 on Saturdays but doors were locked. Stay open the hours you say you're going to be open.

I bought a package and some of the bulbs were out in all of the beds on the level I was using. I asked to use a lower bed and was told no I had to stay in the level I paid for. I asked about the bulbs. I was told they had them ordered, but it was over 2 months and the bulbs still weren't replaced. I actually saw them selling packages to beds with bulbs that were out.

I finally complained enough that they told me they would give me a free month but they wanted me to remove the review I had posted. I said sure after I get the month. Needless to say I never heard from them again.

Me and my husband have used them for a couple of years. Several times after freezing our accounts they still charge with no refund. Managers don't call back as they say they will. Looks like the BBB needs to hear what their up to. Requested to speak with Andrew on many occasions and they refuse to do so. When they want their money they take it but when we want answers they don't want to help resolve the issue. Planet fitness has the same beds, cheaper and they actually keep them in great condition compared to Vivid.

Buyer beware if you purchase a tanning package from Vivid Tan: If for some reason the location where you bought the package is closed for good at some point in the future, you WILL NOT receive a refund for your purchase, even if you never used one visit. Case in point. Last November, I purchased a tanning package for 2017 at the Berberich Drive location in Florence, KY. a decision I whole-heartedly regret had I known what would happen.

When I arrived at said location on December 30, 2016, I saw everything being broken down and packed up because that location was closing for good due to unforeseen circumstances. I asked for a refund of my purchase right then, before the year 2017 even started, but didn't receive it. Today I was told that I am being denied a refund on a tanning package that I have never once used this year and will never be able to use because the location where I bought it, the only location that was convenient for me, has since been closed. I am enraged beyond words. So I just want to give anyone reading this fair warning but one thing is for certain, Vivid Tan has lost my business forever!

Great tanning beds, a little pricey. But, if you want to help work on your tan you want the best bed. Great customer service.
