G S Hair

I have seen Greg three times now for my naturally wavy fine hair for precision haircuts, highlights and low-lights. I am hoping to see him soon for Fall hair. He's very skilled, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The salon is chic. Parking is easy. I park across the street. I have gone to many salons in the past 13 years since moving up from SoCal and I must say Greg's skills are excellent and worth it. Everyone else who works there is kind. I am looking forward to seeing him soon

After over a decade of treating myself to a salon hair style, I did a little research and settled on GS Hair. I was not disappointed! I left the salon feeling renewed and refreshed and ready to take on the world. It can be scary to visit a salon during these times but rest assured, everyone in the salon is safe and sanitized. During my visit I observed everyone constantly wiping down, sanitizing, and cleaning areas immediately after use. Everyone was wearing a mask. I felt safe and comfortable. Greg is amazing and super friendly. My overall experience was a 10. I highly recommend this place.

Greg Saumure is a master hair cutter, and a nice guy. I am a "woman of a certain age" and came to his salon after 7(!) years of neglecting my hair. No color, no cut, a little thinning on top; I had just let it go. I was unsure of what to do. Cut it short, color it? I felt bad about my hair. I arrived early for my appointment and was able to watch Greg finish cutting the hair of another client.

Her hair looked great, with flawless layering that created a sleek style with lots of movement. I knew that I had come to the right place. Greg told me that my hair color (Ash Blonde with Grey streaks) was beautiful. He advised me not to color it at all even though I had booked an appointment for color and cut. Greg gave me a great cut. He took off about 4" of hair so that it fell gently at my shoulders, and then layered it to frame my face beautifully. I booked my next appointment on the spot. I left Greg's salon feeling good about my hair, and feeling great about myself. Thanks Greg

Greg, Vidal Sassoon himself couldn't have given me a better hair cut, I now look well-coiffed. The three different Pinterest images I showed you, came out with perfect precision. You and the staff are very engaging and personable, such a nice and welcoming atmosphere, and the location is great, since I was a little early I enjoyed a nice walk.

Thank goodness my search is over, I found the epitome of perfection. I love all the point cut, it makes styling for my type of hair such a convenience. Thank You again, see you in a few months.

Great experience! Victoria is the best in hair extensions, hair color and highlights! I have been getting hair extensions for over a year and I wouldn't trust anyone else! I would definetely recommend Victoria. She is a great hairdresser and a great person as well!

I'm one of those customers who are hard to impress but if I like the work, I stay dedicated to one stylist. That's why I've been going here for a few years now. I have never had a bad experience. Greg always does a good job and that's why I dont see my self going anywhere else any time soon.

I usually hate getting my hair done since most stylists do what they want and not what you ask them to do. Since I lost my stylist a couple decades ago, getting my hair colored and styled has been like a visit to the dentist. I explained to Greg what I had in mind and he actually made it happen! Absolutely love my hair! I will be going back to Greg again for certain.

I had the worst experience with Victoria. I had beaded row extensions placed and they not only pulled out my hair but after one week looked as though my hair had grown out for a month. No only did she do a horrible job with extensions but when shd colored my hair it turned pink. I am so disappointed in her work and her attitude. When I asked for a refund she would not refund me so I could get her worked fixed.

The new hair stylist I went to also stated I had been ripped off and she was so sorry. Please do not see Victoria because you will not only be so unhappy but lose more hair. I never write horrible reviews but I don't want someone else to go through what I went through. Well I do have the receipt from my cash payment to you at gs hair and an open court case with Victoria for her open lies. Sorry but I had an appointment there and texts to prove it.

Greg was my hair "god" for awhile. Then I lost him when he moved locations. I was devastated, but my hair was mortified! For the last couple years I had tried to find a Greg replacement, but I was always disappointed, and left with bad hair. Then one day I was searching Yelp and found GS Hair again, and my hair God Greg! Today I had an appointment for just a cut so Greg could see the wreck I have been sporting without him.

Even with just a cut my hair looks 1,000,000,000,000% better! Greg is amazing! His work is absolutely top notch! I've missed him so much, and my hair has suffered without him. I am so thankful to have found him again! Greg is the absolute best of the best in the entire Sacramento area! He is amazing!

Victoria brought my hair back to life! My hair had been gradually turning more and more orange to the point where I only wore hats out in public cause the color was so off. When I came in to see Victoria she was super nice and reassured me that she could help correct the color! She even took the time to walk me through the whole process of what steps she was going to take to get my hair back to a color I wanted! She was able to save my hair, and I left feeling amazing! I'll definitely be coming back to her for my next color touch up!

I have been a client of Greg's for over twenty years and can say he is the best in town, albeit pricey! I foolishly tried another hair stylist through Groupon to save more money and boy was that a mistake! The so called "stylist" butchered by bangs and ruined the texture of my hair. I went to back to Greg with my gnarly-haired head hanging low and he instructed me on what to deep condition my hair with every week.

Slowly but surely my hair was finally nice again as well as the color that he also had to repair. Moral of the story: When it comes to your hair, don't cut corners - You get what you pay for! Greg can never be replaced!

I appreciate that Greg continues to work at my ever changing needs when it comes to Color. He gets it, and knows it. They are flexible with scheduling, great location, studio is quaint and fun. If you are looking for an experienced Salon and stylist, no need to look any further. Thank you GS Hair.

I have curly, gray (mostly) hair, and if you have either of those, you know how badly your hair can be cut. Seven years ago, I discovered Greg. We've gone through a few variations, but my hair has always looked great, and I think we've settled on a permanent style. Greg is great! My only concern is that someday he might decide to retire.which would be a disaster.

Best salon ever, if you want awesome hair, seriously go here and ask for Greg, he does such a good job, you will love your hair!

Greg is the best teacher for new stylists! He has a very good hair cutting techniques and a great personality!

I went here to get highlights in my hair as I have done at various places previously. I came to find that after i went to my appointment, not even half of my hair was highlighted(Only the top pieces were), and they had made me spend $200+ on it. I do not recommend coming here as it is all too expensive and the people there only care about the money and what they think your hair should look like as opposed to what you actually came there to get for yourself.

Maybe you may go here if you are willing to throw A LOT of money on your hair, but me personally after going here, I wish I had gone to Paul Mitchells. I prefer not to go back to a place that ONLY wants to take my money and nothing else.

Greg is a true hair artist and an incredible talent! I love the fact that he loves long hair-kind of hard to find in this biz! I have really thick hair that may be a challenge for some, but he knows exactly what to do with it. I never leave disappointed & I've finally found a stylist where I can say "Do whatever" and I'll still love it! Not only is he a master at haircutting but he's a great colorist as well. Check him out-you wont be sorry!

Came here to get my grey addressed and Greg did an excellent job. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my busy work schedule

Susie cut my hair last week and did such an amazing job! When I went in for a consultation I explained how I wanted my thick hair layered and she understood exactly what I was (poorly) explaining, which put me at ease. I did a donation to locks of love, so the cut was free. Still, Susie took her time to make sure that my new short cut looked just right.

She was very skilled and talented in the way that she layered and thinned out the ends of my hair. I have gotten so many compliments on my new style. She really knows what she is doing, and I will be going back any time I need something done to my hair.

Always on time, professional and very knowledgeable. They keep up with the trends so I don't have to. I get a full color and cut and it always looks great.people often ask me where I get my hair done. The prices are not cheap, but they are certainly reasonable. I use Greg the owner, but their are plenty of other talented stylist that work there.it is one of the few salons where I have seen the staff go through formal training every week. Bottom Line, If you are looking for great technique at reasonable prices, this is a great salon with a good product selection to choose from.

Everyone is super friendly and really felt relaxing, and my cut and color came out awesome
