Our superior hair color service has put us on top. All of our stylists are certified hair colorists; these designers have completed many hours of advanced education. We use only the finest, naturally derived hair color products from Aveda. We are also well known for a variety of techniques and specialize in corrective color.
The concept has many names in many cultures, but the essence of it is this: creating a balance between your mind, body, and spirit. Your body therapy treatment begins with a consultation to identify your total state-of-being. Avanti Salon's skin care specialists use their training and expertise to determine the best treatment method for you and type of composition oils to use to delight your senses and bring you back into balance. Enjoy 30 minutes of deep relaxation while receiving a soothing massage along with an Aveda exfoliation treatment to energize the feet and legs.

I went in as New client. Loved the atmosphere. The ladies were laughing with their clients. Lisa the owner was a kick. Clean. She made my short little fingers pretty again. Just in time for friends wedding lol.

Chose Kim from a prior review raving about her ability to cut wavy hair. So, told her I am growing out my hair and wanted to control my waves.her solution was a ten minute cut and to flat iron everything. No tips on home care. Styling.meh.straight cut bangs, straight sides and back.bowl cut? Asked for an angled back and thinning.less than 1 min each area.so, the waves were cut creating a hump vs. working with the wave. Finally.$55! At least, Enzo Rossi posts each Stylist price online.

Becky is the lady that cuts my hair. She is the best. She knows and dies exactly what I want. The salon is always very clean. And everyone is very nice. Thanks Becky for all you do for me.

My new favorite salon. I now get my haircuts here because I love what Kendra does with my hair. I love that future appointments are made to keep up with my hair with text and email reminders. They are so gentle with my nails which is huge after a previous nail salon literally ripped part of my nail off. The place is so clean and everyone I have worked with is amazing.

The polish changes are like mini pedicures and by far my favorite place to get my nails and hair done. They also do amazing work for my sisters wedding with hair, nails and make up. Highly recommend this salon!

Just had my first haircut there! Lovely place and great service. My hair looks perfect. Also, as an avid environmentalist I was more than THRILLED to see that the Aveda products they use are completely sustainable! Definitely my new go-to salon :

Have been a long time client of another local salon but had a gift card to use here so I had my hair cut and colored. They scheduled me with Abigail, who couldn't have been more professional and thorough. She even broke down the cost after gc value so there would be no surprises at checkout. To me, that's going above and beyond for sure.

And after showing her a few pics of desired color, she still brought out a bunch of color swatches to make sure I had a realistic idea of how it would turn out, which ended up being exactly to my liking. Very easy to talk to, and talented. Salon was cozy and clean. Overall I definitely recommend! There are also some pics of their work (and Abigail's specifically) on Instagram fyi.

Great service! While visiting from out of town, I needed a trim, so I called Avanti primarily because they are an Aveda salon. From the phone conversation to the reception when I arrived, customer service was excellent - warm, friendly, and welcoming. Kendra did a fantastic job with my haircut - I got exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price. I'm very pleased, and although I live out of town, I plan to return the next time I'm here - it was that good!

Been a client for at least 20 years, I have never had a problem. Professional and always helpful. Over the years I have tried so many of the different stylist they have all been good. My entire family adores Russ Vitale he is great!

Took 5 hours for my hair to be bleached and then colored. Should not have took that long and after washing it once at home. The color has already come out. Just got my hair done a few days ago. I'm extremely upset that I paid $125 for this and the color has come out and it took 5 hours. I had to cancel my plans because of it taking so long. I will not be going back to this place and I don't recommend going for getting hair dyed. Maybe a cut or nails but not coloring.

Whatever you do, don't let them schedule you for 3pm or later. They told me to come in at 3 even after I asked if that was enough time (they assured me yes), but they were closing at 4 or 4:30 so everything became very rushed, with an undertone of stress and short changing on both the services I paid (and then stupidly tipped well) for. Plus the haircut gave me a sort of mullet instead of the bob I requested.

But again, no time to fix it - or even do the styling we agreed upon beforehand - as staff wanted to go and I was the last customer in the place. I replied to an email ad the owner sent me asking why they scheduled me so late and how I felt short-changed on services, but they didn't have the courtesy or customer service ethic enough to answer me. "Luckily" I was going out of town so I went to a salon in that city a few days later and a STUDENT cut my hair for free better than the seasoned stylist I had.

Even if you get the time, not sure they're up to date with styles or care about people who aren't their long-time locals. Also, since the manicurist wanted to leave to "bake cookies" my nails are all lopsided and not very prettily manicured.

When Renee B was there, we couldn't have been happier! Once she left Avanti to open her own salon, no one at Avanti would tell me where she moved, other than 'far away'. They scheduled my daughter with a new stylist. We paid for a full color and cut, with an emerald green streak in the bangs. When she was finished my daughters hair looked EXACTLY THE SAME as when we walked in! PLUS, the all over color must have been a temporary color because it was completely out in a few washes.

It took me almost a year, but we finally found Renee at Lux in North Royalton. My daughter finally has the style and color she wants. I think it's completely unethical of Avanti to not share Renee's new location, and I will never bring my family's business there again.

Michael Luciano is the best! He always knows exactly what I need to bring my hair back to life again after I let it go untrimmed for 6 months. Whenever he asks me what I would like done with my hair I come up with a thought and he always has wonderful ideas to add in order to compliment my own vision. He really is the most detail oriented and skilled hairstylist I've ever had. I won't go to anyone else, and you shouldn't either. If you really do want the best, look no farther than the first chair in Avanti salon.

My friend and I had clear pictures of what we wanted. Had an appointment at 2:45. we did not leave until 6:30-7.the young lady was VERY nice, but in the end we did not get what we had wanted. and paid way too much for what we got. I had to blow dry my own hair. Our blonde isn't blonde and some of it is even orange. previous colors still showing. The salon was very clean and everyone was as nice as could be.

I thought I would share my experience so more people don't waste their time, energy and money as I have on Lisa Anderson at Avanti. Lisa has been nothing more than a flake. I bought a Groupon to get both eyebrows, along with top and bottom eyeliner tattooed. I had to make an appointment over a month out because she "doesn't like doing tattoos later in the day" because she gets "over it by the afternoon." A few days before my appointment, she called to cancel and reschedule.

I agreed. My new appointment day comes around and I get a phone call an hour before my appointment from her. She said "my 2:00pm appointment cancelled, so I was just going to leave." I said "okay? so do I have to reschedule again?" in a confused tone. She said "yes, how does Wednesday work?" I said "that's okay I suppose." I didn't really have another option at this point. Tuesday comes and I receive a voicemail from her cancelling my appointment for Wednesday (THIRD CANCELLED APPOINTMENT.) Her voicemail states "I was in the middle of a tattoo and the needle shot out of the tattoo gun.

I have another tattoo gun, but it doesn't work as well as this one so I am going to have to reschedule you again." Firstly, to be THAT unprofessional and tell someone a needle SHOT out of the tattoo gun, which will be used to tattoo your face is a huge red flag! (as if the 3 cancelled appointments weren't enough.) I am giving my honest experience in hopes to defer others from being put through hoops as I was.

This salon was an amazing experience for me. I have a one year old and badly needed a haircut so I had no choice but to bring my baby with me. Not only did they say having my baby would not not be a problem but my hair stylist let me hold her in my lap and even helped my baby stay calm throughout the haircut. I cannot believe how well I was treated and helped! This salon was well worth every penny.

I will back up the previous review. It was HONEST! Lisa is trashy and unprofessional. I am so disheartened over my experience that I am rating on several sites. I never do this. Even a "poor" rating is an overstatement. I am only speaking of the permanent makeup. Made my appointment with Lisa. The evening prior Lisa called to confirm my appointment.

She was quite rude even over the phone, which should have been a clue for me right then and there, but I gave her the benefit of a doubt. I went in the next day and told her what a was looking for. Simple and natural-looking. She continued to insist on black eyebrows and liner (I am blonde). She was relentess in this and didn't seem to care what I WANTED.

What I susequently discovered was that she had black and green eyeliner-that was the selection. She was quite obnoxious and trashy. Her demeanor was horribly unprofessional and her language attrocious! Not what I would expect in this environment at all. I took my teenage daughter with me and Lisa didn't hesitate using such vulgar language in her presence.

My daughter also thought she was trashy. F bomb dropped every couple words. Now to the procedure. First, no numbing was even offered. This was painful. I have had plastic surgery, 2 c-sections and a tattoo. Also, I was in the army for 4 years. I know what pain is and have a pretty high threshhold. Anyway, whew! made it through the eyebrows. I seriously couldn't see anything clearly for a while because she was laying on my eyeballs throughout the procedure.

I bled everywhere. I was told I it was because I had taken ibuprofen the day prior. This wasn't true. It was her way of covering up that her technique is wrong. I now know the bleeding occurred because she went too deep. Several months later, my eyebrows are STILL tender. I have to be driven home and as soon as I can see, I realize one eyebrow is WAY off-about a 1/4 inch too far off center.

Then the eyeliner. Lisa did halfway under ONE eye only then quit. My right eye was black and blue for 2 weeks. When she quit she said the next time she would offer a numbing agent! NEXT time? What happened to THIS time? So, I made a follow up appt to go back in and finish eye liner, but when I got there, she was again obnoxious and made every excuse possible not to fix/finish the job.

I was actually relieved. She stated she could do some but would re-use the needle if I came back again. REALLY? I questioned her on this and she said she was kidding. I think this is common practice for her. I made a 3rd appt but never went back or called. Since then, I have been to another salon who fixed the mess Lisa made and I now have beautiful brows and liner just like I should have had done in the first place.

I still have to go back at least one more time to add more color and feather to the eyebrows. They are still too dark. One was too long (since it was off center) and a solid tattoo. I didn't have any bleeding at all and YES I used ibuprofen the day before. I contacted Groupon and told them of my experience and they gave me a full refund. This was a HORRIBLE experience. DON'T BOTHER! Also, I can't believe she is the owner. Walk the Line does better work for less money and no sorted stories or language.

I was a loyal customer with the same stylist for five years, but the quality of my haircuts was decreasing. Twice I had to go back to have styles corrected. On my final visit my hairdresser rambled on about how her new scissors were shipping the next day and how her old scissors (the pair in her hand cutting my hair) just weren't working well.

That was it. The prices are high, but you are paying for an "aveda" salon, not necessarily a better style. And, after five years and several hundred dollars in tips, I didn't receive any follow up to lure me back. I've since found a more reasonable salon with less attitude.

I certainly miss Avanti now that I've moved away from Cleveland. You can get a great men's haircut for $28 (including shampoo!). Be sure to ask for Amy DiFranco for good conversation while you're getting your trim. It's an Aveda salon, so they have the usual lineup of product, etc.
