Kat is wonderful! She's a great help when making changes, big and small. The front desk staff are reliably helpful and friendly as well. Gale is great for manicures too!

I went to Luxuria to get balayage which I had never done before. I was really pleased with the stylist and the salon! My stylist was very professional, and the salon is beautiful and clean. 1st timer at Luxuria Salon. Stephanie was my stylist and she's fantastic! Stephanie listened to my story, understood what I wanted and her easy going, gentle manner really put at ease. I felt comfortable with her which is huge. I love my new updated look. My hair looks and feels so much better. Great salon, and Stephanie is a wonderful stylist. I had the same issue as Mo. i only went to Luxuria for Rachel. I too had an unused gift card I ended up using on a pedicure. Gail is WONDERFUL but the setup leaves a bit to be desired. For the price ($68!) the pedicure area should be more professional. I ended up with some money left on my gift card after the pedi and decided to use it on some sample size shampoo and conditioner.

After leaving I realized I was overcharged by a few dollars. Not a big deal but after paying $68 for a pedicure and $24 for sample size shampoo and conditioner I was annoyed. I called and Erica was very sweet. She said she would leave a message for the manager to call me so I could get a refund. Two weeks later and no calls. Disappointing experience for a very long-time customer.

Major hair color disaster, followed by childish high drama. I'll be looking for another salon.

Have been seeing Rachel for years for waxing. Excellent service by Rachel, never an issue! I was gifted a gift card last year but avoided going due to close contact and covid restrictions. Rachel is leaving and she is no longer taking appointments. No announcement on the website, her photo still appears there. Nor is there another esthetician on staff. Luxuria will NOT refund gift card and is trying to sell unwanted products and services which I get elsewhere for better value. How very unfortunate and unprofessional, especially given years of being a client! Hope my money really makes a difference to your bottom line!

I called Luxuria and was able to get a same day appt. I had a cut with Katie, who was super sweet and did a great job. Very happy with the salon and will definitely be returning.

I went to Luxuria for the first time yesterday and I am so glad I did! I rarely write reviews but I just had to leave one for here. Upon entering, I noticed what a beautiful salon it is. The stylists all seemed wonderfully nice and professional. I came in with a half formed idea of what I wanted and the stylist picked up on it, went with it, and did wonders!

My highlight and cut are the best I've had in years. She convinced me to go without bangs (well, for now, sweep them way to the side until they grow out). I thought, why not? I'm so glad she had a vision and I agreed! I love my hair! It was a lovely experience and I look forward to returning.

The only thing luxurious about this salon is the prices. They don't value long time customers, and when they moved to their new, smaller location in Olney, the place lost its charm. Apparently it is common practice to raise the customer's prices when the hair stylist gets a promotion. I am all for promotions, especially when they are deserved, but I don't believe valued customers should be asked to bear that burden.

I am a new customer and I really like this salon in Olney. It is bright, cheery, , and comfortable. Everyone was friendly. Erin, my stylist, was friendly and did a great cut and blow dry. I would have given 5 stars but the prices are high--$70.00 for a cut and blow dry.

I have been coming here for years and followed them from 3 different locations as their clientele grew and their services and staff expanded. My hair professional is Kathy and if she isn't available I ask for Katie. However, every person there is well trained, professional, client focused and friendly.

People literally stop me in the streets to find out who cuts my hair. When I tell them, they claim its to far to travel to Olney for a haircut. Okay then carry on with your whacked haircut and I will continue to travel to where the service is good and the haircut by Gale Bolds is incredible!

Not only is the environment incredibly welcoming, everyone is so nice! I saw Ashley today and left in tears because I was so incredibly happy with the results of my hair. I was anxious about cutting all of my hair off after it having been long for years. She did such a wonderful job and saved my curls! I've never had a stylist protect my curls and enhance them this way. Needless to say, I will be back.

We are repeat customers of Gale, Megan, and Phatima (sp?) for Pedis, and I've been seeing Ashley for my hair for a few visits. Love this place. Usually prompt, always clean, always profession so, and ALWAYS friendly! Feels like visiting family. Love it!

I was there last week for the first time and I got a pedicure by Gale. Best decision I ever made! I was greeted at the front desk by a very nice young lady who offered me a beverage and took me to the back where the chairs were. Let me tell you this place is beautiful! So nice and clean and the staff is super friendly. I never had such an amazing pedicure too!

I am totally coming back for more! Gale did an amazing job and my toes look amazing! It's a little bit of a hike for me since I love ok Gaithersburg but it's totally worth it. I am coming back again at least once a month to get my toes done there since I hate cutting my own nails lol

Found Luxuria thru a good friend's recommendation, and have loved them ever since. Kristen does my hair (a most wonderful stylist and lovely person), Megan and Gail do mani/pedis. The whole team is wonderful. Play hooky and spend a whole day there - it's worth it.

I am a fairly recent customer - convert to Luxuria. Many family members are Luxuria devotees and here's why - Katie Browning and outstanding customer service. Luxuria offers 5-Star services and the ambiance and comfort of downtown salons and considerate and professional staff. Katie B. provides thoughtful precision in her service. She is an excellent stylist and takes the time to listen and talk with her customers about their hair goals.

Aside from a perfect cut every time - her coloring abilities are equally acute. And the color "bar" process is comfortable and congenial. Luxuria offers in town quality, services and appearance with the friendly atmosphere you would expect from Ashton location. It is nothing short of an ideal salon experience.

So this review isn't completely representative of Luxuria as a whole and is only really about the stylist Ashley. I've never had to do this before, but after showing a picture of what it is I wanted and getting a haircut, I had to shave my head completely because the haircut was unsalvageable. Once getting home I tried to see if I could make it better, but with the fact that I work in a corporate environment and can't possibly wear a mohawk to the office I made the decision to just cut it off since she cut my hair so short, so high up one side of my head.

I should have gone back and asked for my money back but I wasn't willing to embarrass the stylist. I just figured I'd let other people know of the lack of skill and care that was taken while I was at Luxuria.

Jenn at Luxuria is the only person I have ever trusted to color my hair. I have had other stylists do it 2 times and it's never as good. I have been going to Jenn since before she was at Luxuria (past 9-10 years). She is very good at what she does. Everything else at Luxuria is fabulous too. Gale and Megan do a fantastic job with nails. They only use quality materials and really take care of each customer. Rachel does fantastic facials and waxing.

Everybody is very friendly. We hired Jewel to do updos and airbrush makeup for my wedding. She did an AMAZING job. Everybody looked gorgeous. I can't say enough good things!

Have been going to Luxuria for manicures and pedicures for years and have always been impressed by the quality of service and care that Megan and Gale can lavish on your nails. HIGHLY recommended. Katie styled my hair for an event and did my makeup. Also HIGHLY recommended. Gotta give 'em four stars only because of my first (and last) haircut I received from Keira.

I had never gone for a haircut at Luxuria but I was incredibly excited because I had never seen anything less than stellar cuts and colors walking out of the salon. I didn't have a preference for a stylist, thought I'd be adventurous and make an appointment with whoever was available. While she was sweet and pleasant. Keira did a number to my hair!

I brought in a picture from Vogue of an extremely edgy cut and she. botched my hair. My fine hair is prone to being flat and limp. she somehow managed to deflate my hair to all-time new low. Let it grow out for two weeks and went elsewhere for a cut to fix the uneven layers and chunks she took out of my hair. CHUNKS. Bottom line: STAY AWAY FROM KEIRA!
