House of Heavilin was founded in the heart of Kansas CIty by George Heavilin in 1963, and is still family owned and operated, with many of the current staff, from admissions to instructors, being previous graduates as well. We have since expanded into multiple locations, with both a strong student and customer base, making us the cornerstone of cosmetology for over 50 years in the Kansas CIty Metropolitan area.

I will never come back here, The sign saying that you need to wear a mask is very small on the front door and there's about 10 other signs on the door surrounding it. There were two people sitting at the door when I walked in and they let me in without a mask after I finished shopping they told me that I cannot be rang up without a mask. I went to my car to get my mask came back and they wouldn't let me in for 10 minutes. the door was locked and the LP would not tell me why.
After standing outside for 10 minutes I was finally let in and told they were at capacity. They never told me when I was leaving that I wouldn't be able to come back in immediately. when I knocked on the door they didn't tell me why I couldn't come in, and while I was standing there six people left out before I was able to come back in.
