DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. I would give them a ZERO if possible. I'd gone to this salon and went to different hair stylists in the salon for more than 8 years. I liked the salon but I also like different viewpoints and style ideas. I skipped a couple times in spring if 2022 due to vacation and inability to coordinate a time that would work for me and my current stylist.

I didn't want to have to cancel. Once my schedule was more stable, I did try and set up another appmt with my current stylist, Rosemarie, with no call back or return text received. I then tried the owner, Kurt, who told me bc I had canceled a week before Christmas one time in 2016 ( it currently 6/2022) and had to reschedule later that same week, that I was no longer acceptable in the salon.

I had questioned him twice in Dec of 2016, saying "are you sure that's ok?" ( to reschedule that week before Christmas of 2016) I remember, I felt bad bc I had to cancel and reschedule at the last minute due to a sick child. He said, "yes it's fine, just come in on Friday." Also, according to Kurt, I was not accepted back bc "I was (supposedly) late for appmts." I was NEVER late for appointments and often would wait for them to "finish up" with a client when my appmt was suppose to start; Thinking nothing if it, at the time.

I was treated so rude by this group. I tried to remain loyal to the salon over 8 years. To be treated like this is callous and UNPROFESSIONAL. I did nothing wrong and was treated like I was a piece of garbage to be thrown out. DON'T go here. A long time client of any salon should not be treated like this for absolutely no legitimate reason. If you want further info, please contact me on this site as directed, I can give you further details and information on each of them. Thank you.

Ta Da Hair Salon was a perfect match for me. I was referred to Ms Rosemary Palazzolo from a trusted friend. We talk on the cell phone many times about my needs and concerns about her service on Semi Permeant Micro blading. Rosemary set up a consultant with me before my procedure. I completed all the forms while we engaged in conversation about many things.

I love how caring and knowledgeable she was about her craft. * threading your brows * Semi -Permeant Micro blading * haircut for men & women * waxing brows * waxing men hair on their ears * coloring your hair and brows *Scalp Micro pigmentation Rosemary's has her license and certificate and more. She is definitely a great professional to work with. I'm very happy with my service on my eye brows.

I had this done over 20 years ago in California. Rosemary's is the best. If you need any of this services you've going to be very pleased. Thank you Rosemary for Excellent service and making me feel beautiful! I will be back! Gloria~

Got my hair colored it Turned out nothing like I wanted. I went back to get it fixed and I my hair turned out a gray brown color and looks terrible, he didn't even blow dry it all the way. I guess he knew it looked bad. I would not recommend going here to anyone.

I found the salon on Groupon and decided to try it out since I needed a hair salon in St. Louis. I was a bit nervous due to other reviews, but I am glad I gave it a try! Marie works the desk and she was always super nice to me in person and on the phone. She offered me something to drink right when I came in to my appointment. Janina was my stylist and she was very professional and did everything I wanted! I definitely recommend this salon and I plan on going back!

I Love the way Kurt does my hair! He is exceptional at Hair Color and Hair cuts! He also has very experienced staff that are also great at hair coloring and cuts. I have traveled for my professional career and have gone to many upscale salons when I was traveling and was always disappointed and paid upwards of $80 for the haircut. Not so with TA DA, I have always been Very Pleased and prices are very reasonable and the quality of work is EXCEPTIONAL! Don't go to higher priced salons just because they can buy more advertising. GO to TA DA Hair Salon where the quality is in the training and years of experiences hair designers. I have never been disappointed! Constance Mahan

Impressive Salon. Incredible staff. Great value. Highly recommended. The owner takes great pride in his business. Long term customer and plan on staying with TaDa. The facility has ample parking and easy access from Hwy64 in Chesterfield Valley.

I recently visited this salon for a pedicure and haircut. The salon had a very nice and relaxed atmosphere, everyone seemed genuinely happy to have me there. Tiffany did my pedicure and did a great job. She had a lot of colors to choose from and it was a nice relaxing experience. I also got my hair cut with Janina, who did a fantastic job. We cut off 7 inches and took me from long and boring hair to a cute angled bob, I LOVE it, thank you both for giving me an afternoon makeover!

I was very sad about reviewer with bad experience! I didn't have practice with Groupon deals about Ta Da, but I am a regular customer for already 3 years since I moved in St. Louis from other country. And I was spoiled about great quality hair service. I used to work with one of the best hair stylist in my home city last 10 years. After I moved here it was difficult to find someone instead.

I tried a lot places but wasn't satisfied enough. Then after article in St. Louis magazine about trends in hairstyling when Kurt was like an expert I set the appointment with Kurt. And I was completely happy with my new found regular stylist. He is very professional, has fashionable sense of style and able to take care about my hair in the best possible level.

One of the best nail services I had in Ta Da too. Tiffany is wonderful and very professional. Love the way she does French mani/pedi and even doesn't charge additionally for this! Whole service circle organizes amazingly! Marie is very kind and pleasant receptionist. I love being there! They always make me feel like a Queen. I know that very often our perception of situations might be different. But.

Perhaps the real reasons of unhappiness of the bad reviewer were other then was written? Doesn't have any sense to discuss about this. I just could recommend to everybody try to get your own experience and compare though;-) And this does have a lot of sense :-) I'm sure all regular customers can agree with me! Anyway. I always recommend for my friends to be customers of Ta Da and Kurt personally! Love this place a lot! Good luck! Wish a fantastic day for everyone!

I made an appointment with Ta-Da salon for May 20th at 9am. On May 19th around 6pm my boyfriend was admitted into the ICU for internal bleeding. After staying at the hospital all night and wheeling him to surgery at 830 am. I received a voicemail at 930am from Marie stating, "i hope you are on your way you had an appointment at 9 it's now 920." I called her back stating my situation and that I was in the waiting room waiting for him now.

I asked if I could reschedule my appointment and she told me no because I forfeited my groupon because I did not cancel 24 hours in advance. As of 24 hours prior to my appointment I planned on going. After getting very upset at Marie and getting off the phone she called me back and left a message telling me "this is what I can do for you, i can let you make a new appointment and use the amount you paid for the groupon for other services in our salon" After a couple days to vent I called back and asked to speak to a manager about their policies she just so happens to be one.

I asked if they ever made exceptions and explained that I had no way to call 24 hours in advance. I stated I didn't understand from a business stand point why they wouldn't just honor it. She said you have got to understand we hear a lot of excuses. EXCUSES my boyfriend is hospitalized and Marie is telling me I'm making excuses not to make my hair appointment.

After a very unprofessional argument I asked to speak with someone else about the matter she stated she could have the owners call me. Well I called another time as well having her now leave two messages for me to speak with the owners. I have still not heard back. I have never had to deal with someone with such horrible customer service skills in my life. Having Marie be the face of your company is losing you business and I will let everyone I know to never use your salon. I'm sure the services and other people who work there are okay but I'm sorry for anyone who ever has to deal with this woman!

Experience: This was the ABSOLUTE worse haircutting/hairhacking experience I have ever had. I actually began looking for hidden cameras because of how horrible the service was. I was assigned to Kurt, the owner, and he was probably the most self-absorbed person I have met in a long time. Every ten minutes he would stop cutting my hair to talk about himself and all of his great "accomplishments".

He was talking really badly about other customers and I eventually had to say, "I really don't think it is professional to talk about your other customers in a negative way." Also talking badly about Groupon and how horrible those customers are. Kurt told me that he was the best hair stylist, musician, song writer, and novelist in the state of Missouri and that he basically was doing me a favor by "allowing me in his salon". Haircut: I had been growing my hair out for two years.

I told him how I just wanted a trim and that keeping my length was important. He hacked (and I mean hacked) off nearly 7 inches of my hair. It was choppy, and extremely uneven (2 inch difference between longest and shortest piece of hair). He also refused to style my hair even though it was part of the groupon deal. I will NEVER be returning. I called to complain and because he is the owner there wasn't much I could do.

I asked for my money back and they said no. The receptionist said she would get back with me as soon as possible to see what they actually could do for me, and I haven't heard anything for two weeks. Ta-Da, I had to get another haircut.

Terrible Service! The secretary was very rude. The hair stylist was horrible. She cut my hair uneven. My highlights and low lights were horrible color. I went back two days later to get it fixed and she charged me the exact same price. I talked to the owner and he said he has to charge me for the color. I've never been in a worse hair salon in my life.

I do not recommend this place. Thought since it was in Chesterfield it would be a nice place to get my hair done being a new resident there. All I got was terrible service and lots of lost money and time. I ended having to go to a different salon to fix my hair from the nightmare! Forking out more money and 3 trips to salon.

I moved to the St. Louis area a little over a year ago, and my biggest worry was 'how am I ever going to find a hairstylist that I can trust again?' My mom is a hairstylist and cosmetology teacher, and I didn't think I would ever be able to find someone that I trusted more than her. I probably researched 20 salons in the St. Louis area and finally decided to give Ta Da a try.

I called to make the appointment and explained to the very friendly receptionist that I was a tad nervous about trying a new salon, so she set me up with the salon owner, Kurt. When I arrived at the salon I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was and how nice the salon itself was. I was immediately offered something to drink and then escorted back to meet Kurt.

My first impression of him.great hair, kind smile, and warm eyes. He asked me what sort of look I was going for, and then explained what he could do to help me achieve said look. By this point, I was breathing a little easier. Kurt worked his magic, and by the time he was finished I looked like a new woman. I was so happy with his work that I made my next appointment before I walked out the door. Kurt is a great guy and a fabulous stylist.

I have been with him for a year now, and have no plans on going anywhere. As a matter of fact, i was just in his chair a few days ago and asked him not to ever retire. If you are looking for a hip, up-to-date, friendly and talented salon, then look no further. Ta Da is the place for you!

Wow! Was surprised to read about the bad experience with the last reviewer. I, too, purchased the Groupon. The stylist explained that since she was the newest staff member, she was assigned the Groupon clients. Since I'm not a much of a salon user (self cuts and box colors), I might not be the best to review, but, my experience was great. My stylist terrific.

She made gentle suggestions, was respectful of my wish to keep my ratty hair long and she made me feel good about my decisions. The receptionist went out of her way to try to make me comfortable. Two weeks later, I still love my cut and color. I'd give it 5 stars, but without the Groupon, it's quite out of my budget. I usually find that when I visit a salon that I'm self-concious and uncomfortable, but the two employees who cared for me at Ta-Da made me feel a little like a queen. BTW, no tips on credit card, bring some cash.

I can only share my story and hope it helps you in making your decision to do business with Ta Da. I had a Groupon that I paid $65 for which included a full highlight, hair cut, deep conditioning and a style. My appointment was made and I was scheduled with Kurt (the Owner). My first impression of him was that he was either drunk (I did not smell alcohol) or on serious pills.

He was sweating profusely and unsteady on his feet and I could tell immediately that he was not in good shape mentally and I was scared for myself and my hair. We were discussing what to do with my hair when all of the sudden he blurted out (loudly and very unprofessionally) that I needed to get my money back from Groupon and almost in so many words shooed me away.

I was dumb founded. I went to the front desk where I explained the situation. She apologized over and over again and explained that he was the owner but she would be happy to out me with another stylist. I explained to her if that was the way that the owner ran his business (high as a kite on something) that I wanted no part of the salon and just to please return my money.

She explained that I needed to call Groupon for the refund. I sat on their couch and called Groupon because I wanted to make sure I was going to get my money back as the service was refused. As I was talking to the Groupon representative Kurt came flying out front the back being HELD BACK BY THE FRONT DESK LADY! I am woman who has done nothing wrong and had a drunk or high 50+ man in my face screaming at me to "Leave now!

Leave now! Get her out of here! I have a license!" The man on the phone heard the whole ordeal and I had to speak to his supervisor who apologized profusely and was going to report Ta Da officials. The way I was treated by Kurt was unfair and uncalled for. He has no business serving the public and dealing with people. My suggestion would be to stay clear from a place like this. The other stylists may be great but was that say about them to work for a man like that. No Thanks!

I'll just say it wasn't my best nail experience ever, but it certainly wasn't the worst. I went for an express mani/pedi. I'll say the pedi was better than the mani. I had clear polish on top, and they just didn't get it all off before applying new coats. They also didn't have a large selection of polishes. I felt really limited to 1 OPI collection, which wasn't my favorite collection. I probably wouldn't go back, but the gal that did my nails was nice. They don't allow tips on credit cards so be prepared to have cash or write check.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Went to TaDa's owner, Kurt, for a "quick trim" on my wavy shoulder-length hair. He told me he knew just what to do. When he finished, I looked in the mirror and was horrified to see that he had chopped at least six inches off my hair. It stopped at the nape of my neck and the hair on top was short, too. I was shocked. It looked awful.

When I asked why he gave me this radical haircut without talking to me first, he shrugged and said "I didn't realize you were so attached to your hair"--as if it was my problem for not liking it! Don't let him do this to you!
