I first went here and Michele did a decent job. I went back the second time and I asked about rescheduling my appointment but was told to still come in. This time the service was rushed, she did not do a good job and I paid regular priced. The first time was better and I was using a Groupon. She "Sucked".

I am a regular client here and wouldn't go anywhere else. Michelle is wonderful with my chemical peels and facials! Pleasant and educational.

I travel alot, normally I town 1 day, so Walk-ins are hard to come by. They had a seat open and were very courteous and humble. Relaxing environment. Hair needed some TLC and Bella Gente Salon provided just that and more.

Michele is great does a wonderful job. I love her European facial.

I went in yesterday for a cut, unsure about the length I was going for. Sarah guided me towards a cut that would flatter and be the length I wanted. She chopped off 7 inches, and I am in love with it. Sarah is professional, precise, and intentional. And easy to talk with-always a plus when you're in the chair : She's exactly what I want in a stylist. I never make follow up appointments and go 8+ months between cuts, but I scheduled for 8 weeks this time. Go see Sarah! You won't be disappointed.

Recently tried balayage (for the first time!) with Cheryl - she did an amazing job! Highly recommend!

I recently went to Sarah and she was able to transform my hair a big step forward preparing my hair color for my upcoming fall wedding and I absolutely loved her work! I previously went to another hair salon for a root touch up and the lady turned my hair almost orange; I was a mess driving home! Well I decided to go to Bella Gente Salon months after and Sarah and Alyson did a fantastic job figuring out what I need; which is more brunette with blond and caramel highlights.

I was tired of my copper orange hair! Sarah didn't rush her process and made sure I was happy! Please go see her for a beautiful balayage or highlights! I'm finally so happy with my hair color! :

Seriously wish I could give this a 0 star rating. Just got my hair done by Tamanda there and my hair is absolutely horrible. She cut it way too short, it's so choppy, not straight/ different lengths, nothing I wanted. I love my hair and just moved back and gosh I wish I could've just paid $100- $200 to go somewhere else in St. Louis because it was terrible.

Right when the process of even just shampooing started I knew things just didn't feel right as most stylists take a long time, so a good timely scrub etc. I'm used to getting someone amazing in Chicago and completely regret coming here - have a wedding in Vail next week and no way I can even salvage this and have the hair obviously grow back in time. Do not go here end of story.

I've been coming here for facials for a few years now and Michelle has been so great every single time. She's the best aesthetician I've ever been to in the area. She even lets you try different products and gets you a custom mix to fit your needs at a reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend her!

Brenda was fantastic. Highly recommend her. Went in for a cut and blow dry and came out looking fantastic.

She butchered my bangs. Nothing like what I showed her I wanted and terribly uneven- looks like a child did it.

Completely inconsiderate of my time. I appeared for my 9:30 appt, was offered a water. And then I sat. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. I could hear staff behind the false wall gossiping and carrying on with each other. I assume my hairstylist was still with a client. 15 minutes Not an acknowledgement from anyone. 19 minutes and I think to myself. I've got stuff to do!

I don't have time to just be sitting here imagining my new 'do! So at 20 minutes, I left. When I told the receptionist I was leaving, all she said was, "Ok". So now I don't have to wonder what Bella Gente is all about, as I won't be back.

Michelle is the best esthetician I've ever been to -- and I've been getting facials for YEARS! She is very professional yet friendly. I've been going to her for a while now and not only enjoy the service but also enjoy talking with her. She'll talk as little or as much as you're in the mood for. The treatments are always relaxing with a great ambiance and I always feel like she gives a little extra to ensure a great treatment. I get a lot of compliments on my skin. I purchased a groupon for my first service at this salon as a way to try the place out and hopefully find a new stylist in the area. Definitely will not be going back here. The stylist I was paired with cancelled on me a couple of hours before my original appointment. (It's fine, things happen). Then at my rescheduled appointment, I get there and let my hair down for a trim (hair is slightly below my shoulders) and she takes one look and says "oh if you didn't read the fine print on the groupon, we can charge you $10 extra for thick hair".

Absolute bogus--having thick hair is something beyond my control, aside from the fact that while it is thicker than average, it is NOT unmanageable. I have never had this issue before at other salons and will definitely not be going back to this one.

Jamie did such an awesome job! I have long thick hair that a lot of stylists struggle with. she gave me an awesome cut and the color is amazing! The salon has a great vibe and the customer service was awesome! I will definitely be back.

I've been a regular client here for several years. Always get a great haircut and also take the kids here. They provide services for the whole family. Always a great place to pick up a gift certificate during the holidays as well. One of the things I appreciate the most outside of their great service is that I can book out my appointments a year in advance so I can get the day and time I want.

I first started going to Salon Bella through a groupon for Brazilian waxing. It was my first ever wax and I have continued to go back to Lydia since then do to the experience being very calm with her. I would recommend her to any of my friends.

I was gifted 6 glycolic peels and purchased 3 Microdermabrasion facial specials. All of them were done by Michelle. I believe she is the only facialist. Michelle is a very nice, sweet and friendly person. Each service with her was not consistent in procedure but they were ok. Upon my first visit, I was given a coupon for additional services and products.

I used the coupon toward a haircut and that was ok as well. The staff overall is really nice and friendly. It was always easy to set up an appointment. Wait time upon arrival was short.

I have loved every experience I've had at Bella Gente! It's definitely a group of professionals and all the ladies are so much fun! My go to girl is Emily and she's great about listening to what I want and giving good suggestions! I will name my first born after her!

Highly recommend Kathy or Allison the owners. Others are not up to their standards but charge the same high prices. I had several services by Emily: haircut-disaster, pedicure-mediocre, manicure-ok, eyebrow waxing-waste of time so beware of who you get for what. Would not recommend some of the more inexperienced people on staff and they could use some education if they stay on to maintain the high pricetags and high standards I expect of this salon since it is in a tony area and since they charge a premium price for services.

I visited Bella Gente Salon for a basic haircut. The staff was very nice and the salon was tactfully decorated. I thought my haircut was very average, not bad, but not great. I probably would not go back again.
