Had an absolutely wonderful day with my sister in law, stunning place, professional, friendly, magical!

I have been going to this salon and spa for years. The customer service is great and everyone is always kind and friendly!. They also have great availability for appointments.

I've been going here for years for facials, acne treatments, back acne treatments, eyebrow waxing and shaping, eyelash lifts and tints, massages, pedicures, haircuts, hair coloring, YOU NAME IT. I always leave here in a better mood. I highly recommend for all the above services. SPECIFICALLY massages and hair coloring. (Highly recommend Rachel for hair and Mallory for massages!)

I love getting pampered here! Everyone is always so welcoming and friendly, really makes you feel comfortable. I see Adrianna for my hair and she does a fantastic job and is very personable!

Good message. I was a bit uncomfortable and should have check on their covid mask policies. There was nothing done wrong on their part.

I went into the Wingate for a scheduled massage on my birthday last week, on a 95 degree day. The AC was broken and I was up on the third floor of the building where it was absolutely stifling. I had to ask the masseuse if she could please find a fan. She eventually found a small one, which helped. I would've had to leave, otherwise, as I was beginning to drip with sweat, under the covers.

After my session was complete, they offered me 10% off due to the circumstances. On my birthday. 10%. Felt like an insult. Not to mention, my wonderful masseuse, who was doing all of the deep tissue work, was overheating as well. Not impressed!

I want to start by saying the staff here was very sweet and accommodating, but my services were not what I expected. After 1 day, my nails and toes were already chipping, which was disappointing as I liked the color. My massage was good, but felt extremely short in accordance with the price. It also felt as though experiences varied based on who you had, as a lot of my girls loved their services.

We had the suite for the afternoon, and the amount of scones/snacks given didn't match the amount of people there. Overall I think I would be back, but maybe try a different service.

Just had such a great experience with Michaela. She had such a calming, welcoming, and friendly demeanor. They took covid guidelines seriously and I felt safe. Michaela is very knowledgeable about skincare. She perfected my eyebrows and gave me so much information and skincare. Lots of parking and a very unique building. Thank you Michaela for such an amazing experience which made me walk out the door feeling so relaxed and confident.

I recently went to this salon and was quickly pushed into my service. The employees were hanging around mostly on their phones. I was originally scheduled with someone and changed to a women named Lauren who gave me the most professional service I've received there. She was so sweet and gave me the best pedicure. I have difficult feet. I will admit. The whole experience before I was sent to Lauren was very disappointing. She mentioned she does facials. I will try and schedule a facial with her soon.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I waited until I was a repeat customer to write my review as I wanted to be sure of the level of service. rest assured I'm confident in my feelings! This place can turn any frown upside down and make the most royal a queen feel even more pampered! Life is GREAT at the Wingate! I had a massage Karyl - she has great strong hands and worked out great pressure in my shoulders!

I left her amazing little first floor sanctuary renewed and refreshed! I went to wait in the tea room, drank my delicious beverage and relaxed while I awaited Joanne for a facial! I was in heaven, as I got a great treatment as well as knowledgeable advice and tips! LOVE learning about my skin as well as she suggested an eye cream that I now adore made right there! Yes!

I already booked my return visit again haha and will be a monthly visitor as self care is MAJOR for all of us! They are an extremely clean, caring, friendly, and professional spa. I am in the best mood leaving there, feeling like I was treated to the best care and attention my money could pay for! My husband was the one who got me a gift card here and started my obsession with this little gem.

If you are in need of a great self confidence, love yourself moment, or just to feel special - Wingate can give you that and then some! One of my favorite places to indulge! Not to mention, their products are amazing! I love their lip plumper, eye cream, face wash, hair products. just all around top notch!

Outstanding service. Caryn performed my oxygen facial and body buff. She was professional yet personable explained everything and products throughout. She is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Her attention to detail is spot on.

I won an Instagram contest and was absolutely blown away. I rebooked right away because it was fabulous! Amazing service such friendly staff, truly incredible, especially if you're in need of a little mental get away. I will be telling every customer I have about this spa! You guys are phenomenal!

Ive had great services at the Wingate. Ive had manicures, pedicures, massages and facials. All have been very relaxing and everyone pays close attention to detail. They work hard to provide a spa experience at prices that are similar to other "spas" that are far less spa like. Their monthly specials are the way to go from my experience. I wish there was more around their location to make it more of an experience making a day of things. But Stratham is Stratham and thats what it is out there :

I was gifted with a certificate for the "pamper me " package. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by the front desk staff and offered a drink while I waited. Julianna gave me the best facial I have ever had and she recommended a product that I should bring home. I'm so glad I did as it has completely changed my skin for the better. My manicure and pedicure were done by Maddie and Hannah who were both great at their job and fun to talk to! This package is a great gift for others, or yourself! I'll be back.

I LOVE Wingate. This place was my go to when I lived in the area and now that I have moved I look for other places with the same standards that were set by Wingate. Their online appointment setting makes it easy to get an appointment set up. When getting a hair cut they spend time with you to find out what you do with your hair so you get a realistic haircut.

They do hair cuts, stylings, color, pedicure, manicures, and massages. The place was a calming place, truly a spa, and when I went there I knew I was going to come away happy. I highly, highly, highly recommend Wingate and would give it 10 stars if they let me.

Very disappointed. I had a haircut there, which with tip was $90 it was more of trim which took all of 6 minutes. I felt I might want more off but the stylist said I could just come back if I did. I called a few days later saying I did indeed want more off additionally it was uneven. Scheduling that was a nightmare, I had an appointment but was told that was a computer error- "having computer issues" she said.

I finally got in. Much to my surprise, though the stylist was late taking me in to the salon. I was told she only had time to clip the uneven side. I would have to schedule again for another haircut to have more length off. No one ever reached out to me to resolve the issue, I went elsewhere and paid again and received a cute haircut.

Absolutely lovely! I've been going once a month for the last few months & I never want my massage to end. Karol is fabulous, professional, and the Best masseuse I have ever had. Thank you Karol!

I have been going to this spa for years for a variety of services. I recently went for a classic pedicure and it was one of the worst I've gotten. The nail tech was lovely, we had great conversation, however the paint job was terrible! The callous removal was barely existent, massage was meh. Needless to say this was worth way less than $49 I paid for it. I will not be back for a pedicure here.

Place is falling apart! It use to be so pretty there! The exterior is disgusting! The sign and light post are rotted! The landscape is really bad.

I go here regularly to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Amanda, she is amazing! My eyebrows come out perfect every single time and I wouldn't trust anyone but Amanda to do my eyebrows. The last time I came in for my appointment with her I decided to add a facial with her last minute and I am SO glad I did. It was the best facial I have ever had and my skin is glowing! If you're off put by the bad reviews- don't be. Experience it yourself, you won't be sorry. Everyone here is wonderful

5 stars for Kati the massage therapist who I believe has the strongest and my sturdy hands I have ever experienced. Fantastic massage. I do agree with others that the decor and building are quite dated but the massage itself and Kati's massage skills were superb.

5 stars for my stylist, Bri who did a fantastic job giving me very natural looking highlights. Bri listened to me and gave me precisely what I asked for. I have to agree with other yelpers, the interior of the wingate is pretty dated and in need of updating, especially for this price point.

I've been visiting the Wingate for the past 10 years & unfortunately the place has declined to the point I have no desire to return. My husband & I had a couple's massage this past weekend. As we waited in the waiting area it was impossible to relax due to the constant flow of foot traffic & noise in the room. Employees walking through the room every 30 seconds, the receptionists' voice heard clearly making phone appointments & checking guests in/out & people entering/exiting from both the front & back entrances causing doors to slam.

As far as the actual massages, we paid extra for the Ultimate 80 minute Deep Tissue. I reiterated to my therapist (Molley) that I like A LOT of pressure. My husband also noted on his intake form that he wanted a true deep tissue experience with his therapist (Chris). Neither of us feel we received a deep tissue massage. Mine was 90% effleurage stoking which is what a Swedish massage includes.

At no point did either therapist ask about pressure or comfort. We were located in one of the couples' room at the top of the stairs & to the left from which I could hear another appointment taking place from the salon through a rear door. again, not very relaxing. The Wingate doesn't appear to have made any significant improvements to their decor in the time that I have been going there which after 10+ years definitely feels dated.

LOVE Wingate. I went for the first time to see Christine and it was wonderful. I have incredibly incredibly curly hair that is not easy to cut and Christine completely rocked it. I don't think I've ever left a salon really loving any cut thus far in my life, but today I walked out feeling like a million bucks, All of the staff were friendly and it seems like they offer a lot of deals. Would recommend going in an instant, especially to see Christine.

My husband surprised me with a "Mommy to Be package" which was amazing! Pulled up to this giant house on very well-manicured property! Very NH, bed and breakfast feel to it. Tastefully decorated. Started with prenatal massage by Molly and she was fantastic. Super strong hands and so nice to chat with. She was very accommodating and ensured I was comfortable as I'm hugely pregnant at the moment.

I walked in feeling stressed and as she massaged my back, legs, shoulders I could feel all the tension leaving my body! Ahhh heaven! Next up, private tea time in the tea room which featured light snack - delicious scone, fruit, cheese, and tea. Relaxing music playing everywhere! Lovely. Onto Spa pedicure with Meghan. She was fantastic as well, very professional and nice.

She really cleaned up my footsies and had paraffin treatment that I loved. Finished up with amazing foot and leg massage and of course polish! Finished that time with a small dish of berry sherbet- yum. Lastly, Spa manicure which I switched to Shellac manicure with Caitlin. Loved her too and she did a great job! Overall, wonderful experience! Everyone was so nice, professional, and truly made me feel pampered. Just what the doctor ordered! I would definitely recommend this Spa/Salon and want to go back soon!

I love this place! The artists are professional and super friendly. Two of the hairstylists and makeup artists made up myself and entire bridal party on my big day. Everyone left feeling beautiful and loved how their hair and makeup came out, the compliments didn't stop. I won't go anywhere else to get my hair, nails, or waxing done! Cleanest, friendliest, and most professional salon around!https

Went for a massage recently, it was a great massage and shockingly quiet in the massage room which was a pleasant surprise given how busy it was that day

Okay, so I moved to the area in March 2008 and was on the prowl for a new stylist. This one has been voted a "Best Of Seacoast NH" or something, so I gave it a shot. After spending way too much money for seven years in my Newbury Street salon, I thought. Why not continue the trend here in NH? Wingate's webpage says "formerly of Newbury Street" and its Senior Stylist Jo was apparently top notch. WRONG!

I called for a trim and color consultation just to play it safe and test the place out before I committed to full on salon services.and thank GOD I did the test run! This woman was downright insulting, lacked personality and spent the entire time aggressively pushing Kerastase product on me. She told me my hair clearly looked like I flat iron it daily.it was severely damaged, that it would never grow beyond the length it currently was and that highlights were not a great idea because my new gray hairs could be my highlights.huh? Needless to say, I walked out with a helmet head befitting of a mid-western news anchor or a bad beauty pageant contestant.

I should point out that my sister is a stylist in NY and has been for over 20 years, so I'm not entirely ignorant of what should be done to my hair. Plus, when she looked at the cut that Ms. "Senior Stylist "Jo spent a (painfully long) hour hacking into my hair, she found that the back was completely lopsided.by about a 1/2 inch. Turns out Jo worked at some random salon in Harvard Square when she lived in Boston.i'd never heard of it and I know that means nothing, but don't tout talent that doesn't exist.
