I've been coming to Bravado for about 8+years. Kay (owner) always does an amazing job, and makes me feel so beautiful. Highly recommend Bravado!

The service was pleasant and the cut so welcomed! The ladies at Bravado are fantastic! I had not had a cut since spring and they made me feel like a new person. I was also happy to find a women's cut under $70. $65 for just the cut, no wash & dry needed. Bright and clean studio, on-street parking, good location in Eastern Market.

We waited 20 minutes for my son's scheduled appointment. The stylist rushed my son's haircut and had an attitude when we asked her to straighten out the sides. Very unprofessional. I certainly will not be back.

I came here for a haircut a few months back and LOVED it. I decided to get balayage done since I enjoyed my first trip so much, but unfortunately my hair has been completely messed up from a color perspective. My stylist didn't do a balayage at all, rather I have completely random chunky spots of blonde throughout my head. Not only does it look bad, but I was charged an extra $30 when I paid.

They didn't offer to fix it or anything, just sent me on my way. I scheduled another appointment with another salon to fix it, which is such a bummer because I really loved Bravado when they cut my hair. Would definitely recommend for haircuts, but probably look somewhere else if you want your hair colored.

I go for a pretty basic men's cut every two months or so. The price is right for it, and they do a great job. Very friendly and attentive.

I just recently moved to DC and found Bravado Hair Design. They are in the neighborhood where I live and thank god I found them. Elsy is amazing! She puts a lot of effort in her work and I LOVE the result, both my highlights as well as my hair cut. Very relaxing athmospere. Again THANK YOU!

Every moment of my first visit to Bravado was stress free and enjoyable. All of the ladies were very friendly and genuinely kind people. Check-in ans COVID procedures were seamless, and I appreciated how seriously they took their clients safety. I received an amazing balayage, cut, and blow out from Elsy. Even just meeting me she was able to instantly understand what I was looking for and gave me exactly that. Best of all, that's exactly how my hair looked at the end! I can't wait to come back and make this my regular spot!

I've known the Owner Kay for almost 30 years. She runs a first rate business. My whole family has used her Salon services. I've recommended it to several friends through the years. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone soon. Stay safe!

Alisa cut my toddlers hair and did an amazing job! We just moved back to the Hill and our previous experiences before coming today were not positive. She made him feel at ease and by the end he was ready to stay and play. Couldn't be happier with this experience. She has a gift with children.
