I have taken my mother two times and it has been a excellent experience both times. She really looks forward to her appointment.

This was already my favorite salon but I recently got to meet and be treated by a stylist named Stephanie and it was a fantastic experience. She did my highlights, my deep conditioning, my trim AND my style all in a timely manner and I have not stopped getting compliments on my appearance. She was fun to talk to and get to know and she made me look and feel like a rock star. I highly recommend Mrs Stephanie.

Thanks to Purebeauty Salon and Brian for sorting me out. I'd let my fine and curly hair get into a tangle beyond all tangles. Brian expertly fixed it and gave me a trim. He was skilled, kind, and so interesting. Many thanks. Welcome to Big D, Brian!

I went in for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. The first 10 minutes was spent face down on the table while the therapist prepped for the massage and made tons of noise. When the massage actually started, I had to remind myself that it was real life and not a dream - not in a good way. I am almost certain this "therapist" was not a legit, certified therapist.

She would perform massage movements on one side of my body, and the other side was done completely different. She didn't even get to my left arm while I was on my stomach. She only got to the top of my back, never massaged the lower portion. I get 3-4 massages a year, so I am very aware of the purpose of them. But she would find a knot, put her whole body weight on me and push down so hard that my wind pipe was being pushed down into the end of the table so hard that it got hard to breathe. Then, when I was instructed to turn over on my back, she put a weird cloth over my face and attempted to massage my face. squeezing my cheekbones and other very uncomfortable things.

When she got down to my legs, she barely went higher than my knees. When she was done with any areas, she would just throw the blankets back on so I was all tangled up in sheets when it was over. To make it all even worse, the massage was over $200! I will absolutely never go back and do not recommend anyone waste their time and money on a massage here!

I have been coming to PureBeauty to see Joseph for almost 6 months and i have always left with him exceeding my expectations! He is amazing! Love his services so much.

I live overseas and was hesitant to use anyone other than my usual hairdresser. What a great surprise to have found Joseph at the Purebeauty Salon. I wish I could take him back with me. He is beyond amazing! Loved my new look!

A representative named Frida provided my waxing services. Upon arrival, she did not inquire about my skin type, so I advised her that my skin is sensitive. She smirked, rolled her eyes and told me that she would use a "hard wax" because it's better for sensitive skin. The waxing was the most painful that I have ever experienced. In 10 years, I've never experienced the discomfort that I felt from Frida.

She placed her bare hand over my mouth while waxing my lip. When I jumped, she asked if I was OK? She placed her thumb and index finger in my eyes while removing the wax from my brow area. She utilized the same wax stick and dipped into the wax after each application for my underarm and legs. After my services, I had to move closer to the back of the room to look in the mirror and noticed the floors were very dirty.

There was hair (not mine) on the bed where she provided my waxing services. This spa is located inside Neiman Marcus, however, the service standards and lack of cleanliness misrepresents the Neiman Marcus brand. I will never return to this spa and will make sure everyone that ask is aware of Frida's extremely poor service.

Joseph Serrano saved the day today! He gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. He is truly a master at his craft. He listened to what I wanted and knew exactly how to get my hair there. The salon was clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

Booked last minute facials and massages for a party of 6 and Stephanie at the front desk worked magic to get us all in back to back. Chanel gave amazing massages (physical medicine doctor said this was the best massage in a long time) and facial as did Lulu. Will definitely be going back!

Critical: Professionalism This was a few years back but it was the most terrible service I received. Vyron cut my hair sitting down and was so unprofessional. When he was asked why is he sitting down cutting my hair he replied with "I don't care my legs hurt"

I always see Roger Terry for my hair color. He's simply great!

Nice salon. Arthur is a stylist here. He does great roller sets.

This is presently my go to nail salon! Conveniently located at the lower floor of Neiman Marcus at North-Park! I can't sing enough praises to their technician ZHANNA for the meticulous and beautiful work she does on my nails each and every time! Love her! Serene and polished is the atmosphere! Yet, voices carries, so the time here is not as calming as It could be!

I returned to the spa and had another facial with LULU. What a difference! She is amazing and knowledgeable! She knows exactly what your skin needs to get it back on track. My skin was extremely dehydrated from the beach. She exfoliated my skin, performed extraction (completely pain free!) and gave me the LED light treatment. My skin was so soft! And everyone has been giving me compliments as well. She is a hidden gem! Skin perfecting facial starts at $120!

This salon & Spa is good and I like that they have stylists that does Ethnic hair also that they always have specials and even host client appreciation parties. It's great they carry Skinceauticals and Bumble & Bumble as I use both brands and they frequently have discounts on retail which makes me purchase my items here verses other retailers.

However I was disappointed to learn their hair color brand is Loreal, for a salon of this quality I would expect they would have exclusive color brands. I'm not going to pay $200+ for Loreal hair color, therefor I will go to another salon for hair color services.

I have heard of good things about this salon & spa from my friends! Funny thing is that when asked, none of them could remember the name, just that they are at the basement of Neiman Marcus at Northpark! Maybe with the change of name to "Purebeauty" it will stick in minds from now on! Desperately needing a manicure; knowing I only have a couple of hours to spare this week; and, I couldn't fit my schedule at the spa that I frequent; I took a deep breath and made an appointment here in giving it a try! Wow! Impressed I am!

Everyone and everyone was wonderful from start to finish! Even with the chatting and clattering going on, I felt very calm and centered in this environment! It could be the lighting; the music; the demeanor of the technicians, stylists, and clients; and/or, the scattering of beautiful orchid plants and seashells; the whole scene was just perfect for my taste! And, I can't sing enough praises to my technician ZHANNA today for the meticulous and beautiful work she did on my nails! Confident I am to talk with my hands again! This was my first but it won't be my last visit here! Cheers!

No amenities here, definitely just a day spa in and out but prices reflect this so it's all reasonable, however if you go in knowing this, you should be very pleased with service. I had a massage with David, was very happy with service, he did an excellent job and it was a full one hour. He used stones, aromatherapy etc.

I treat myself to a spa day once every 18-24 months, so when I do so it is.meant to be a special treat and a chance for a truly relaxing day off. Enter Halcyon, a couple of weeks ago. While my massage was a very good experience, my mani/pedi tech was strange and made me feel like a nuisance to her. Worse still, my facial was the only painful, stressful spa experience I have ever had, and left SCABS on my face that didn't fully go away for almost a week.

The outrageous price of treatments at Halcyon set extremely high expectations for me, but I could have gone to an independent spa, paid 25% of the price and had a good overall experience. Save yourself the discomfort and money as well.

I came in for the first time a few weeks ago. I was having some pain and stress in my lower back and it wasn't going away. I met with the massuer, David Gates, and was immediately comfortable and at ease. He has a very soothing voice and a nice personality. I have seen him a few times now and I have noticed a huge difference. If you want to relax or need some work done on a problem spot, ask for David! He's the best!

I came in for my appointment and the salon was empty, but it still took 15 minutes for my stylist to see me. She decided because I had showered that day she was dry cutting my hair, I wasn't given a choice. I told her I wanted my cut a few inches past my collar bones with long layers. She recommended a length (I agreed) and she started cutting.

At a point she thought she was done, I again requested long layers and she said she would put them in the front but not the back because those would look like split ends. She then proceeded to use a razor to add "layers" to the front (which aren't what I classify as layers so much as she softened the line in the front). I hate when a razor is used in my hair, and have been told by numerous stylists it's damaging.

I left unimpressed, and when I got home I noticed not only is one side slightly longer than the other, but I was finding random hairs that she had missed. Overall I'd say it's ok at best. I'm unhappy and feel like I could've gotten the same results at a great clips type salon - actually they probably would've been willing to do they layers I asked for. I'm used to going to Avante Day Spa in Mansfield and I should've made the 45 minute drive so I walked away happy rather than feeling like I settled. I expected a lot better from Neiman Marcus. I won't be coming back.

Roger Terry is the best stylist in the city. He cuts and highlights my hair for the last 5 years. He is consistent with my hair. He is my go to guy! The front desk staff goes out of their to book future appointments and to fit me in. Love the salon and the location.

The space is in the basement of Northpark and is very zen. You can't hear any foot traffic from above and it is an uncluttered environment unlike a lot of salons in the area. Gabriel was my stylist. he was fantastic! He uses amazing products and gave me a few recommendations (hello Kevin Murphy) which made it a fantastic appointment. I was very pleased with my hair. Highly recommended. My friends go here as well and have only had positive experiences.

Nicolette is the BEST for spray tans. When I said I wanted a very subtle tan I could tell she really listened and understood what I meant. Previous spray tans have left me orange and led to a lot of teasing from the boyfriend-not this time! Nicolette gave me the perfect light glow with no hint of orange. She is extremely knowledgable about the product and told me in detail how to extend my tan as long as possible.

I use the Xen-Tan dark lotion she recommends daily in between spray tans. Prices are very reasonable. I can't recommend Nicolette highly enough and will be seeing her before every upcoming summer wedding! :

Overall horrible experience! I went to Tammie to get a hair color of which prior to the actual appt had an color consult to discuss the color I was going for and my hair type. Long story short. 1. When I stepped into the salon and sat in her chair she talked from the time I got there til the time I felt which was 4hours later. (I told her I was tired as I just got off work, I work nights) 2.

Come to find out based on her comments /actions she stated she is learning to do color, the color specialist recommended she uses a certain product, she was not an expert in color of which I was told she was. 3. She lifted my hair color twice and at one point I had her and another lady working on my hair at the same time because she didn't know what she was doing. 4.

Hair color (after it dried and I could truly see in the sun) my hair was light in some spots and dark in others. I basically look like a troll doll. 5. To only get the color I spent $140, she didn't even style (I'm natural so she could have at least twisted my hair or something so I could walk out and look decent enough to go to a store and shop). 6.

Once my hair actually dried and the sun hit it (don't let the lights in the salon fool you, color looks totally different in true natural light after it's dry) I was extremely disappointed. Not only was my hair hard and brittle feeling but it was beyond dry like desert hair. 7. I went back the next to getting hair back black like when I first arrived and with another stylist Arthur but before I came in Tammie called me left an unprofessional VM on my phone.

I called back to speak with her after asking me how was my day she immediately turned around and said well you don't sound like your doing good. (It's my day off and I am actually laying down resting just to clarify) 8. Arthur colored my hair black just as it was when I walked in, in just an little over an hour and I was done. 9. I was Informed the manager would call me on Monday but I had to call her Monday after 2:30p.

She listened to my story about half way through interrupted, stated well Arthur got you the color you wanted or came in as, agreed that Tammie shouldn't have been doing an color, refunded my money, and told me everyone makes mistakes after I told her I am nervous about the health of my hair as it was lifted too many times and felt rough / damaged.

She told me to make it's hydrated, but a lot hydrating products, and keep it conditioned etc and it will grow out soon (I Informed her I had short hair) Overall I'm totally done with Niemans, I wasted a day and 1/2 which were my off days on hair, still had to go home and style / wash my own hair which took 2 hours each time, $140 waste, waste of my breathe trying to explain to these people, unsure about the health of my hair now it's color damaged, all to give my $120 back oh they can't refund the $20 tip! I'm beyond disappointed with the oh so well known company Nieman Marcus who prides them selves on customer service!

Wonderful place to get your eyebrows waxed and more! Had to get my brows waxed and decided to stop by without an appointment. They had an opening and were able to fit me in immediately. The Esthetician was very friendly and professional. The rooms are private and dimly lit. I felt very relaxed as soon as I laid on the table to get my brows waxed! It took a bit longer than a normal waxing that I typically get, but when your paying $30 for a brow wax instead of $10 you kind of want a little Wow factor!

My brows turned out amazing and she told me where to allow new growth to achieve the brow's I wanted. I highly recommend getting your brows waxed here. Can't wait to book my massage!

Great day spa! I called in the morning to make an appointment and they were very accomodating and scheduled me the same day. I got a much-needed massage for 50 minutes. My masseuse was friendly and had good pressure. The spa was also and clean and bright. I paid $125 (tip not included) for a 50-minute massage which is not the lowest price I've seen, but as long as the service was excellent, I can't complain!
