LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Monica! I haven't had such a great haircut in years. She really took her time asking me what I wanted and made suggestions. Then she told me exactly what she was going to do. I feel wonderful! The salon is clean, peaceful and the folks are very nice. I highly recommend it.

I have been going to Balance for several years and Siobhann is my go to stylist. All of the staff members are incredibly helpful and pleasant, and it is just a super relaxing vibe whenever you walk in. Siobhann is pretty incredible! She is super talented and really listens to what you are looking for. The last time I was there she suggested the hair care line developed by the owners and OH MY GOD.the luxe shampoo is amazing!

Monica was the best! I had a Diva Cut/Style with color & highlights. She explained the procedure before her work which was very important to me. She is highly skilled and very knowledgeable of how to properly color & highlight. Aside from her skill set she is very friendly and made my appointment enjoyable. Definitely recommend Monica!

I absolutely love what Darlene has been able to do with my hair. When I initially came to her, my hair was not cut to flatter my curls. Watching her cut my curly mane of hair is seriously an art form. She does an outstanding job both cutting and coloring my hair - I've finally found a stylist who knows exactly what to do with my hair.

I started with the Deva Curly girl styling several months ago at a different salon. I became dissatisfied with their business practice and searched for a new place to try. I was able to make an appointment within several days, the staff is very professional and friendly. My stylist, Ebony was amazing! I have challenges styling my hair. She understood and spent time instructing me how to work with my hair at home. She was knowledgeable, funny, kind, and thoughtful. I am very pleased with the outcome and will definitely be going back to this salon.

I saw Holly for the first time for my first ever DevaCut and it was life changing. I'm not exaggerating. She cut my hair into a masterpiece and then thoroughly explained the routine I should follow to keep it looking amazing. I have gotten so many compliments. My hair has never looked so cute and curly. My routine is super easy (and I'm the lowest of low-maintenance) which makes the whole experience that much better. I will never get a regular hair cut from anyone else ever again.

I had highlights done at Balance Hair Spa. Everybody was wonderful and very professional. Ebony worked on my hair, she is so knowledgeable, I did trust her completely. I love the results, my hair looks great. Ebony also had good advice on how to care for my hair after the treatment. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend!

Great as always! For years, I've hopped from salon to salon in the area, but Balance is by the far the best one I've been to. Darlene is always so kind and patient (I manage a pixie cut and once it gets a certain length, it drives me crazy) - super attentive to what you want and super skilled at doing it for you! The general vibe of the salon and the hospitality of the receptionists also make this place so warm and unique.

Everyone really wants to be there and wants to make sure you're comfortable during the time you spend with them. I'll be moving out soon to attend college out of town, but I'm sure to be back during my breaks for some touch ups :)

There is not enough room in this space to describe how happy I am to have finally found Balance Salon -- and specifically Holly. I've had my share of disappointment with other stylists and other salons. But at Balance, the front desk staff are very courteous, the salon is clean and welcoming, and everyone seems happy -- which is important for a client to see and feel. Holly is extremely thorough, and KNOWS hair (specifically my curly hair!) better than anyone I've ever spoken with.

She provides a true curly hair education before leaving, so that we can care for our curls at home. And her cut was exceptional. My curls have never been so hydrated, defined or bouncy -- she uses her scissors like a magic wand -- she finds your curl pattern and works with the grain, not against it, which allows your true curls to rise and shine. But, irregardless of her exceptional talents -- she's an absolutely lovely person, a light -- and I will never go anywhere else.

This is absolutely the best salon I've ever patronized. Hope is an amazing hairdresser! Every cut and every color she's done for me demonstrate her unusual artistry. I have difficult hair to work with (coarse, curly, frizzy), but Hope gives me cuts that work with my hair type, consider my facial features, and are simple to maintain at home. Best of all, she genuinely listens & responds to all my requests.
