I visited Rayna's Hair Studio for the second time and had the pleasure of actually having Rayna do my hair. Great experience! She's so sweet and extremely knowledgeable about all hair types and really cares about making and keeping your hair healthy. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be back. BTW - the shop is just adorable!

The Good * Promptly penciled me in * Offered refreshments (wine, water, coffee) * Got me In and Out * Accepts Credit Card * Comp'd Trim The Bad * Prices are steep * Wash wasn't thorough My Experience. I mentioned i had been scratching and didnt get a chance to oil she stated the relaxer she was using was not going to burn. I've been getting relaxers since i was 10; If you've been scratching, that shit is gonna burn! Needless to say, she didnt oil my scalp, instead she sprayed oil sheen on my scalp (?) and although she was fast at sectioning and spreading she had to make more relaxer and it was tingling/burning within 5-10 min.
She brought me to the wash station where i received at least 2 washes and then proceeded with a deep conditioning. I didn't feel like the wash was thorough which is a big negative for me. However, the deep conditioning treatment was very enjoyable. From there, I was under the dryer for a bit and then brought to her chair where she proceeded to blow dry, flatiron and trim my hair. Overall, I was pleased with the finished product. Price. Relaxer/Style, Trim (Comp'd, reg. $35) Deep Conditioning (? not sure if that was incl. w/ the wash) = $130 (140 after tip) Note: Only 1 stylist. Books by appointment only. She does it all.

If you want ok service for the cost of an arm and a leg then you are at the right spot. Rayna is very unprofessional all she did while doing my hair was nag and talk about other clients. She washed my hair and didnt even comb it she immediately started to blow dry it while painfully pulling my hair to breakage. i literally felt my hair pulling from my scalp.
Overall finished product ok not the best ive had just ok. If you want to be talked about, judged and lots of breakage and your wallet empty then go roght ahead to raynas studio
