I went in for a Brazilian wax. I have gotten many of these waxes before at places like European Wax Center and other known waxing businesses, so I went in with high expectations. First of all the name of the salon that she works out of is not "Shear Bliss", second of all there is no separate room for waxes, and I felt incredibly uncomfortable. Now into the wax, she used a new applicator, but did not change the applicator each time she dipped into the wax, which is DISGUSTING.

She also did not have me in the proper "butterfly" position. She did not get all the hairs(and yes sometimes they are too short, but there were many left that could've been waxed). The butt strip was also not done(which is important in a Brazilian). Overall I would recommend others to STAY AWAY for waxing! Go to somewhere more clean, and experienced.

Lori is the best hairstylist I ever had! She knows how to cut curly hair. The organic hair color she uses makes my hair so soft and natural looking. Thank you Lori! You're the BEST!

Lori is amazing! She recently my hair for my wedding Saturday 8/1/15 and did my entire bridal party. Everyone got a different style and they all came out amazing. She had us in the salon bright and early and everyone was out right on time. She also did my makeup for the big day. My photos came out beautiful and I'm so thankful for her amazing job on my hair/makeup.

My MOH and bridesmaids looked amazing. We had a blast getting ready in the salon with our snacks, drinks, and music. Great way to start of my wedding day. I even got a pre-wedding facial in my wedding package which was amazing. My skin never looked so good and even 4 weeks later I can tell the facial made a difference. I had a great day at Shear Bliss with Lori. I got a cut, manicure, facial, and organic color gloss. My hair feels so healthy and looks super shiny from the color gloss. The Shira products she uses for her facials are AMAZING. I have always had problem skin and my face looked better after one partial treatment. If I wasn't a struggling student, I would make Lori's facials a monthly thing. Love the organics!

Lori is a fantastic curly hair stylist. I've been coming to see her for years. After I moved away from the Pioneer Valley it took me a long time to find another hairstylist that I trusted with my curls. When you have the best, it's hard to settle for anything else! When I moved back, Lori totally remembered me and gave me a huge hug. She's resumed her title as "The Only Person Who Is Allowed To Cut My Hair."

After moving to the Valley, I tried a few different salons before settling on Sheer Bliss. I appreciate that Lori uses all natural and organic products, as I have very sensitive skin and allergies and can get rashes and migraine headaches from some of the chemicals that are in a lot of standard products - plus, I like leaving feeling like I've put something nourishing on my body and in my hair!

Both haircuts I have received have been very good. Lori will sit down and talk with you about what you want and will give suggestions as needed. She's also a kind and caring person, which is nice and makes for good conversation! Another stylist I had seen locally was very good with the cut, but he spent the whole time making fun of his other clients, which made me rather uncomfortable and resulted in my not going back. I'll look forward to visiting Lori at her new shop and wherever else the road takes her when I need something done with my hair or nails. :

Loved my experiences here! I have been to Lori twice now. The first visit she sat down and talked with me about what I wanted for my hair, and made sure we were on the same page. I left very happy with my hair cut, and with two new hair products that I have been using every day since and loving! She also gives you a week guarantee- if you want anything adjusted with your haircut within a week, you can go back free of charge. I have never been happier with how my hair comes out, and I get compliments on it all the time! I will never go anywhere else!

My go-to for waxing: she does a great job, thorough and with minimal pain, and is always super friendly! I also highly recommend her hair services. She gave me amazing color and highlights, even staying past her usual close time to make sure it looked great - and it came out soft and healthy too!
