I saw Julie Carbone for a drastic cut from long hair to shoulder length. This is the first time I have left a salon and absolutely been in love with my shorter hair. My entire family loves it. Garrett is my hair dressor at MTS and he is just wonderful. I have been coming to get my hair cut and highlights for almost a year now with him. Love the staff! And love that they provide snacks to customers, very smart since you can be there sometimes for 2 or 3 hours. I also had my make up done professionally there for my 50th birthday! I get so many compliments on this photo attached. Hair and makeup by MTS!

I LOVE this salon! Today was my first time in and I was immediately greeted by the nicest girl that I have ever met! I didn't catch her name, but she was so kind and happy! The salon itself is gorgeous and very clean! I then met my stylist, Brittany, who was also a doll! She listened to every idea I had and was so incredibly kind and personable! She also gave me a KILLER hair cut! Thank you Brittany, I am so excited to come back! I would 100% recommend this salon and her!

Unless all you want is a shampoo & large barrel curls, DON'T go to Julie. I asked for something a slight bit different, but she didn't use the right tools so it came out the same. I wasn't mad ( a little frustrated), but I left her a nice holiday tip and left. I have been going to Julie for 5 months ( she is an apprentice under Keri, the owner). 30 minutes later, I get a call from the Keri, saying Julie was in tears cuz I wasn't happy; Keri wanted me to be happy.but.

I brought BAD ENERGY into the salon, so I wasn't welcome there anymore. No concern for my satisfaction; no listening to my side of the story; no " you can see a different more experienced stylist"; like. WHAT? The stylists all seamed so relaxed & friendly- till they weren't. I have never had a more bizarre experience with a hair salon!

I had been trying to find someone to cut my hair the way I have always wanted it and I FINALLY got my wish at Michael Thomas Salon! I am SUPER happy with the cut Ruthie gave me. She is a genius with hair and she was fun to talk to. I am definitely going to continue getting my hair cut by Ruthie. The cost of the services are slightly higher BUT you get what you pay for.

You pay a lot for a pair of shoes, so why wouldn't you also pay more to get your hair done exactly the way you want it? The vibe of this salon is also super trendy plus they pamper you during your visit. This is a great place and I am so happy I went.

From the first phone call to the friendly smily faces that welcomed me to the very knowledgeable hair stylist RACHEL. This was one of the best experiences I ve ever had. I had a party by o go to and the hair stylist helped me look amazing for that since I messed up with the color at home. She was leaving for the day but she was very compassionate and decided by o help me look my best for my party. Am so thankful for everything she did to help. I d recommend the salon and Rachel specifically to anyone who wants by to experience it

Spencer was amazing. He cut 18" of hair off of my tired head, and taught me a bunch of really easy tricks that will allow a lazy girl like me to switch up my style. I'm used to having hair so heavy that it falls straight, but he taught me how to really bring out some "hidden" waves with a simple blow dryer attachment and smoothing cream, among other things. As someone who rarely gets their hair done, I almost can't wait to schedule another appointment with him!

I had some vibrant pink in my hair and I booked an appointment looking for a change to go back to blonde. When I went in Garrett was honest with me and said that goal may not be attainable in one session, which I understood and was okay with that. He proceeded to do what he could, which landed my hair at a perfect platinum! What a wonderful surprise! Garrett was friendly, honest, timely and professional. The salon was very clean and my service was affordable, comfortable and enjoyable! Will be booking again as soon as I need a touch up!

Oh sweet Ruthie! She is the most bad*ss stylist I've been to in a long time! We moved here from Texas and I was terrified to take the plunge to find someone new. I called and explained that I wanted someone who knew how to push the limits of color and boy did they hook me up. The girl is a gem. A sweetheart of a person, charismatic, and a lovely soul.

Everyone I've come into contact with at this salon is just so kind and so pleasant to talk to. You can tell they really care. My heart is full when I leave. As a bonus, Keith was incredible with both of my teenage girls. He sat us down and GENUINELY listened to any concerns we had and what my daughter envisioned for her hair. Knocked both of the cuts(and a color) out of the park!

In a time of such weirdness and uncertainty, he made them feel like themselves again, and they loved him. He works next to Ruthie! So you can't really lose here. Thank you guys! Can't wait to see y'all soon

I brought both of my boys in for their first cut in over a year. Both of them were a little nervous and usually hate getting their hair cut. Keith was amazing! They like him very much and actually look forward to their next cut. Very reasonable prices for excellent skills here. Thanks so much!

My skin looks Amazing! I had an off the chart skin care appt. with Jen. So relaxing and very real results. The peel and enzyme treatments were on par with medical grade treatments I've had in past. And I finally got a derma plane. Wow my skin is so soft! So pleased. Highly recommend Jen!

I recently came here for a drastic change- bleaching my dark brown hair to platinum. I had never done anything as far as color goes and Spencer was knowledgeable and informative along every step of the way! All of the other staff were great and friendly as well. It's a great atmosphere and worth every penny. I can definitely recommend MTS and will return in the future.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I thought this warranted the time to speak. First, earlier in the week I had tried a new salon in Manchester and received the haircut from hell. I came home feeling horrible. The next day I had to be out of town for the day so I had to put haircut aside. I got home last night and took a chance and called Michael Thomas to see if Jeffery could fit me in to fix the disastrous cut I had.

The receptionist was so understanding and she spoke to Jeffery personally to see where they could fit me in. Jeffery fit me in this morning coming in early to work his magic and fix my hair. I walked out of the new salon feeling human again and with such gratefulness that they felt so compelled to help me out. Thank you Michael Thomas and Jeffery for a wonderful experience. I will be back. Beautiful new location on 2nd St. with great parking.

Spencer did such an amazing job on my color and cut, and he gives the best scalp massages! I seriously have never loved my hair more than after seeing him. The salon and workers are all very nice and I feel like I finally have a hairdresser I can fully trust to give me the results I am looking for.

I received a haircut from Spencer last month, and was sooo pleased with the results! I have an intense anxiety of getting my haircut for fear of it turning out poorly (who doesn't fear a bad haircut amirite?). I slaved over Manchester, NH salon reviews for hours before deciding on Michael Thomas. I really had nothing to be worried about! The front desk staff made me feel right at home, and offered me a beverage. Spencer first asked me what I struggle with when it comes to hair maintenance, and really listened to what I wanted in a cut. I've had long hair my whole life, and decided to give it a significant chop.

He then washed and conditioned my hair. They also massage your scalp which is really nice! I'm weird about where I part my hair, but Spencer listened to my request and followed my parting directions before beginning the cut. He's super great to talk to, and keeps the conversations light and fun. He didn't make it feel like a job interview and ask prying questions (which often happens at salons, nail place, doctors, etc.) After the cut, he gave me a fresh blowout which lasted for 2 days. I'm not from the Manchester area, and Spencer gave me a list of things to do while I'm here this summer which was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, my experience cost me $65 (including a $10 tip), and it was worth every penny. I was super, super happy with my cut and glad I went to Michael Thomas.

I absolutely, thoroughly adore this place. I can not say enough good things about it. I am moving out of the area soon, but I will continue to come here regularly for hair coloring and cutting. Ruthie, in particular, is my favorite hairdresser I have ever had. She makes me feel comfortable, beautiful and completely at ease when I'm sitting in her chair. I look forward to every single visit. I have never had a hairdresser like this before. Absolutely outstanding place.

I went to this salon for the first time yesterday and Ruthie colored my hair. She is amazing! I wanted to go a lot lighter and asked for her advice on the best way to do it. She was very helpful and so excited about doing my hair! She really listened to what I wanted and was incredibly friendly and sweet. I love how my hair looks now! The salon is super clean and beautiful as well. Bethany blow dried my hair and it looked amazing. I'm so sad that I'm moving or I would 100% be coming back here!

My cousin and I are from the Boston area, but she got married in Bedford over the weekend. We wanted to get our hair blown out before the rehearsal dinner and found Michael Thomas based on the fabulous reviews. We were not disappointed! We both have very thick hair that's not easy to blow out. She had Jeffrey and I had Spencer. Not only were both of them absolutely lovely to chat with (felt like we knew them for years!) but they also did an exceedingly superb job on each of our hair. We are sad we can't go to them all the time! Such a great experience, thank you for starting off our weekend so well.

Bethany is amazing! I had a great first experience with her for a haircut and new products. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, and gave great recommendations. Doesn't hurt that she has amazing hair herself so it's clear she knows how to take care of it and style it beautifully. Next time I'm going to get balayage too! she earned my trust.

This is my happy place! Beautiful, modern salon, I absolutely love it and my stylist, Brittany. She takes the time before each visit to talk about my last visit, likes and dislikes and what I want to accomplish at each appointment. When I first starting going to Michael Thomas my hair was a COMPLETE DISASTER! The color was about 5 different shades and dry from previous processing.

Within 3 visits my hair is the exact color I wanted (and repeatedly asked my previous stylist for) and my hair is in a much healthier state. Checking out is just as pleasant as the rest of my visit as the receptionist there is super sweet and helpful and you can tell she really enjoys her job! I think it's important to also note that I never feel pressure to purchase the styling products they sell which is something the previous salon I went to always did, making the end of my appointments awkward and uncomfortable.

Every visit here is relaxing, as it should be and I always leave feeling fabulous! I can't say enough great things about this salon and their entire staff. I highly recommend it.

I've been coming to MT for over six years now, and I'm just as happy today as my first appointment. I have to continue to praise Caryn. I've been coming to her for years, and although I am always beyond pleased with the work she does, she always continues to confirm that I'm happy with my brow wax. It has always shown that she truly cares that I am happy with her work.

I recently decided to take some time for me and schedule my first facial with Caryn. As Caryn got me settled in the room, she told me all about the products that she had selected for my appointment. I truly felt as if she took the time to personalize the appointment and services to me. Although it was my first facial, Caryn explained everything that she was doing and why.

I know that even if it wasn't my first facial Caryn would have explained what she was doing. She's a true professional who cares about her clients and wants them to feel comfortable with the treatment and services they receive. I've been incredibly happy with every appointment I've come to and will continue to praise and recommend Caryn.

New to Manchester and found myself at Michael Thomas on a whim. Keith is a wizard with the clippers and shears. One of the best haircuts I've ever had. I will definitely be back.

Bethany is amazing! Had an updo for a bridal party loved it! Staff was amazing and a lot of fun shout out to Keeeith, Jen and Ruth (bat man voice) all made our day special! Facility was beautiful! And picked up some new earrings! Would highly recommend this salon for any special occasion!

I booked an appointment yesterday with Keith and was so happy that I did! Keith was super friendly and professional and gave a proper consultation before cutting my hair. He understood what my goals with my hair were, put me at ease, and executed perfectly. I will definitely be going to back and am so happy to say that I will book with Keith again!

I just love this place so much! First of all the salon is beautiful. really beautiful. It has a warm and calming decor that invites you right in. The staff at the front desk are so sweet, helpful and kind. They immediately make sure you are taken care of. Now my hair, which is long, coarse and thick has never looked and felt better as it does now. Keri takes time to really understand my needs and desires for my hair and delivers those expectations 100% of the time. I will never go anywhere else. I have been to many salons all over the country and have never had hair this fabulous!

I love this place! The location is absolutely wonderful. Ruthie is an absolute hair wizard. She has always worked with me when I have decided to do bad things to my hair on my own. She makes any hot mess with hair into something wonderful. She always listens and knows exactly what to do to make things right again. She has always been able to fix my mistakes even when I had budget restraints. She can also recommend some amazing aveda makeup! The atmosphere is warm and the employees are wonderful!

I am a transgirl, and I stopped in here today to check on some things and get some information for a waxing. The woman who I worked with was EXTREMELY helpful, understanding, and she could tell I was anxious to get this done, as she was willing to work after hours to make sure I could get this taken care of. I can not recommend this location enough, and I haven't even sampled the service yet. But a trans friendly location? Incredibly rare. Please, if you need to find a salon, give these folks your business and support.

I went here for the first time.just yesterday. I moved to Manchester a couple months ago and have been shopping around for the right place for me. Karen was super welcoming and the business is small and locally owned. You can feel good about going there and feel good while you're there. I'll definitely go back and I'll also tell my colleagues and friends about it.

No one enjoys getting waxed, so you might as well enjoy where you get waxed. Check Michael Tomas out, you won't be sorry! A tad pricey. I just don't like to skimp on this! And they let me bring my bike inside :
