I have been to this place multiple times. Anna is a very good hair stylist. But my last experience after I decided never to go back to this place again was with the owner Jennifer rounds. She was extremely rude to me. I went for highlights. I asked for a hair cut also but she said they have no time. She tried to squeeze everything in same time and didn't wash my hair properly leaving so much hair color product and I had to wash my hair again.

Also didn't blow dry all my hair and I left the salon with wet hair in extreme winters. They are extremely busy and don't spend enough time with clients. Plus owner is very rude.

Been going to shaggin for 10+ years. All the girls are great! I have been seeing Shakira for my hair the whole time and I can't say enough great things!

I just moved to the area from Chicago and I went in for my first haircut in a new city, which is always nerve racking. Jen was super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. She listened to what I wanted and made sure that she was doing the right thing for my specific hair. She also managed to fix my hair after multiple "at home" COVID haircuts. Terrible experience. The women was rude and even claimed she was great at her job and to trust her. I went in asking for brown to blonde ombre and left with the opposite of what I wanted. Thin baby highlights all the way up to the root. She had to darken my roots twice and you could still see the highlights clearly. I left with an orange/dark grey/brown mix of colors. I looked like an old lady and had to get it fixed somewhere else. Can't believe she charged me $200!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience here! I had got a really bad haircut 3 months ago at a different place and my stylist had no problem fixing my cut! She was super nice, listened to all my concerns, and gave me a fabulous cut that will grow out nicely! I already can't wait for my next haircut!

What a great experience! The shop itself has a terrifically convenient downtown location with plenty of parking spots all around. Its chic interior is very attractive and the place is spotless. Everyone was cheerful and the service was terrific. Colorists usually have a lot of trouble with my hair - it's very fine and pin-straight, and when it's being processed, often mysteriously turns out very brassy.

But the owner of the shop explained why that happened in the past and how they would prevent it, and voila! My hair came out perfectly and I look ten years younger, no joke. By all means, go to Shaggin' - I've been searching for someone who really knows color since moving back to NH, and after three different people in six years, I've finally found a great salon! Yay!

I give this rating as a guy. The people seem to be nice.but, I got there maybe my worst haircut ever. And I felt it already during the haircut like I'm their first customer ever. Un secure, stops every second, use scissors in a clumsy way without comb or nothing. Really feeling depressed. Moreover, their menu says 20 dollars for men haircut, no pricing for beard.

When I asked about beard the girl said that there's no razor, so basically she just did something of one second, not professional instead, with the machine. Then surprisingly I was charged extra 10 dollars for it. Like are you kidding me?

Jenn and her staff do an incredible job with both cut and color. Jenn is especially talented with color; and she works WITH you on achieving the look that you want. This salon's staff won't be satisfied until you are. I highly recommend them!

My first time here I had an appointment with Ana! The salon is super professional and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I got a wash, cut and blow dry and I loved it. Ana is a sweetheart and I also love how she double checks with you on everything shes doing just to make sure its what you want she makes your salon experience amazing. On your way out they even give you a mini goodie bag with hair product samples in it. I will definitely be coming back!

I love this place! It's within walking distance for me, and to so many other places -- very convenient. I love getting both my eyebrows done and a haircut there. Reasonably priced, especially for waxing! Easy to set up appointments, with a good amount of availability. I love how they're open later on Wed-Fri so I can go after work.

If you need something done with any hair on your body, this is the place to go. I've been enjoying their haircuts and color for six years. My hair is, historically about as dignified and easy to handle as a rabid hedgehog, so the fact that I look like a professional adult is miraculous. Recently, I tried their waxing services, for the first time. They were absolutely flawless, professional, and conscientious. I routinely tip 30% or better here, not because I'm generous but because they earn it every time.

It's not like it's a bad haircut, but this is the second time I've gone in for "short, cute, fun" and left looking like a secretary. I was asked to Google an image of what I'd like, and I still look like a shiny round circle. I'm in a leather jacket with a nose-ring out, the office is really not the style I was going for at all.

I had a lovely experience at Shaggin Salon today. They fixed a less-than-good hair cut I received at another salon last month and made me feel great. Really friendly, talented staff that listens to the customer, and a good price for a women's haircut. I would go back again.

I walked here because it was within walking distance from my apartment, also came recommended by my roommate. After calling to confirm that they were open Tuesdays at 10a, checking their Facebook, and looking online at their Yelp page, I went at 10a on a Tuesday. Lights were all off and no one answered my two phone calls. I had moved around things in my day because "walk ins were welcome". Won't be returning.

I walked in here two years ago with a home-color hair disaster and have kept coming back. Karla and the rest of the staff are great, they're really focused on getting the style you want to work for you. When I was allowed to have funky hair, they tried so many things to get me the color I want and the lasting power I needed, never too busy to try something new, never unwilling to do something different. I love coming here!

I've had very few people cut my hair in my lifetime and this was an amazing experience! I had Karla who did a great job consulting on cutting off my dead ends, while keeping the length and adding layers. The price is also great-$30 women's cut includes wash and blowdry. This will be where I get my hair cut from now on in New Hampshire! The salon was also clean and the other employees were very friendly!

Have you ever heard of the immaculate conception? This was the immaculate lidception. Left there with the lid looking great, best hair cut I've gotten in a while. Whoever gave this business a bad rating is a few short of a full deck. I'll definitely be returning for another cut!

This place was recommended to me by a local. As a young adult new to the area this place was great! I got the style i wanted-layered midlenght cut with angled bangs--- done right at a reasonable price. The stylists were experienced, friendly, and professional. I liked seeing certificates on the walls. The atmosphere was modern and relaxed. I will definitely be back.
