Pret-a-Porter Salon hair services include cuts, color, highlights, corrective color, blowouts and updos. Our facials are tailored to your needs and use the finest organic skin products from Aveda. I have been coming to this salon since moving to San Diego in 2011. It's always nerve wracking to try a new salon, especially when I'm pretty picky about my hair (it's important to me to keep my long hair long, and so many stylists out there just want to CHOP), but I have had nothing but great experiences.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience. Roz was very nice but did a terrible job on my hair. I went in for a shampoo and style wanting beach waves. I've never had a problem with anyone else before but I had to have her try and fix it and it didn't work. It was my birthday and all I could think of was my ugly hair. Sorry I just had to share this.

Gave it a couple days and still not too happy with the results. Didn't style hair after cut and color as she had others waiting she wanted to get to. My daughter kept saying why doesn't it look like the picture, I wanted It to be done when I left not to have to figure out how to style it. So its not the result we wanted and paid quite a bit for. The stylist was kind and professional. I think she just ran out of time for us.

I called to set up pedicures because the website indicates that they use hot towels, but the girl that answered the phone said they put your feet in tubs. Disappointed about the false advertising, as I've been looking everywhere for a place that uses the steam towels like my old Aveda salon in Iowa did. Edit: I received a call back explaining they use hot towels during part of the experience to take off a mud mask that's applied during the service. I greatly appreciated the friendly customer service.

I drive almost 90 miles one way to have my hair done by Shauna Conroy! Best stylist and colorist, ever. Three generations of my family visit Shauna on a regular basis. Nice atmosphere, warm, friendly people, great clientele (male and female), and great Aveda products. Roz and Dan (owners) are talented stylists and delightful people. Wonderful skin care products and services. I feel like I am home when I am there. I relax and let them take care of me. Honestly, wish I was there right now!

Years ago (2008/2009) I purchased a bundle/package with my friend. I loved the services. But, what I especially loved was Shawna and her skills and talent. I was officially her first client. Even after I finished with the package deal, I went back and specifically requested Shawna. She cut and styled my hair differently each time with such ease. I loved it each time.
I even went to her when I decided to shave my hair off for the first time (They donated my long locks to Locks of Love). AND, I lived in LA County at the time. Now, years later (and living in Vegas), I frantically looked for this salon in the hopes that my daughter will get her first hair cut with Shawna. BTW, other than one time out of time and convenience, no one else has touched my hair. I will now be willing to make the trip for my daughter (and me) to have only the best, Shawna.

I found the Salon at my first visit in March 2015, very clean & inviting and was impressed by the professional treatment of the customers by the staff. I give full marks to the staff listening to the customer needs patiently and attentively and presume that the customers leave the salon satisfied. I for one was quite satisfied with the hair styling and also with the discussion on how to improve the styling better next time. I will return there for my hair styling and hope that those who want polite and at the same time cheery and professional staff should give the salon a try.

I have been going to Pret a Porter for over 10 years. I love the relaxed atmosphere and am treated like a princess by the staff. Iced tea, hand massage and friendly conversation. My stylist, Roz, is wonderful. She is an expert colorist and styles my hair that I consistently receive compliments for. Highly recommend this salon and Aveda products.
