If you want a facial that is actually relaxing (not painful or medical feeling), go here! Good products, great tools, amazing aestheticians! Also this place is so cute! You need to see! Donna was phenomenal making me comfy and my skin is still glowing . Highly recommend.

Alchemy is so special and different from other spas. Donna and Mailte create such a unique individualized experience. They always make me feel so good in my skin. Mailte's products are amazing too and have helped my skin for the better. Everyone deserves this experience!

I had my first facial ever here and it was a really wonderful experience. I stuggle with combination skin and some hormonal acne and the treatments provided for the mini-facial helped decongest my skin and speed up the healing process in some problem areas. My skin the next day looked so glowy and clear. I already booked my next two!

Malite' is amazing! Super professional, warm, and knowledgeable about her craft. Her studio is very clean and smells terrific - putting you in an instantly relaxing environment upon entering. As a facial novice, one of the things I appreciated the most is how Malite' informed me every step of the way about what she was doing and how she's helping my skin without pushing any of her products on me.

She definitely deserves an A+ in the customer experience department. When you go to book your appointment online, don't be deterred by the lack of openings you'll notice. This is not a glitch in the system - she's just that great and has that many customers. So be patient, set the appointment when you can, and look forward to an incredibly relaxing experience that'll leave you and your skin feeling so much better.

If you're looking for a slice of an afternoon to re-nourish yourself - this is the place. From the second you walk in, you are welcomed with a gentle kindness that transports you to an island oasis. You might as well be as far away as Bali. This is self care at its best ladies. (And the cool gent that likes a facial). I got a package of three facials and I check my calendar every few days counting down, waiting for my next visit. Do it!

I've been seeing Malite for a few years now and I cannot recommend her enough. I haven't been able to visit for a bit since covid but I cannot wait for my next visit with her! She truly learns your skin and what you need and takes such great care of treating your skin properly. During your visit with her she will also make sure you are comfortable and relaxing. By far one of my favorite things to do after traveling or stressful few weeks of work is to visit her and relax my stressed out skin!

Her facials do way more than just clear my skin and reduce redness, which was my goal. She also induces complete relaxation. Her products are also top of the line and completely natural. I have been fortunate enough to have facials at Sothys and Clarins in Paris, Dermalogica in NYC Noelle in Stamford, Woodhouse Day Spa in New Orleans and I have to say the facial I had today at Alchemy was the best ever. Malite has a true gift and the most positive and beautiful energy that transfers and rejuvenates. Her facial massage technique is flawless.

Malite is so knowledgeable and really puts a great deal of effort into personalizing the facial to your skin issues (in my case dry skin, anti-aging). She works in a small studio in Black Rock that is gorgeous. It's peaceful, clean and smells wonderful. I'd like to steal the treatment table / bed and put it in my house it's so cozy and warm.

You don't hear any outside noise - not sure how she accomplished that. Highly recommend. It's one of those places I hate to even review for fear of her being bombarded with new customers. But she's that good.

This is a lovely local spa in a small, clean, relaxing space in Black Rock. The facial service was exceptional. My skin looked fantastic afterward and the experience was very relaxing. Malite is a lovely woman, who lets you just relax and enjoy your quiet time. It is also a very welcoming and friendly environment. No hard hard selling which is also rare and most welcome.

By far the best facial I've ever had! My skin is really sensitive and I usually have issues whenever I get a facial but Malite is so skilled and works with your skin. The whole experience was so relaxing and the products she uses are amazing.

Just had my first facial there today but it definitely won't be my last. Even when you walk through the door a rush of great energy greets you. Wonderful facial (with massage) and Malite goes above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you want and need. My skin feels and looks amazing after. Also, no high pressure sales pitches at this place, just a wonderfully talented esthetician that's super friendly. If your looking for quality treatments in a comfortable laid back environment this is the place for you.

My experience at Alchemy spa was amazing. Malite is the owner, she is so talented and has amazing energy. She was so welcoming as I entered the spa. I felt so at ease. She gave me a run down of how the facial would go so I was not surprised. My face has been glowing since! I got a vitaman E mask as well as the ultra sound treatment. Blissful escape. I've had a facial and brow shaping from Malite and both times were such a lovely experience. The moment you walk in, all your stress begins to melt away. She is extremely detailed and focused on providing a quality treatment. The place is cheerful and carefully appointed. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of service and careful attention.

You leave feeling and looking rejuvenated. I've been to dozens of skin spas between living in San Francisco and New York City for 12 years and Alchemy Skin Spa stacks up in the top handful for sure. Only area for improvement is the online booking system as the owner is trying a couple options so hopefully that gets nailed down.

I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. Malite provided me the most nurturing and soothing experience, helping me feel pampered, relaxed, and cared for at the same time. My primary objective was a calming experience in a week filled with fear and my goals were exceeded. My skin feels wonderful, my whole body is at ease. Malite has created a most beautiful spa setting - a lot of little touches that make the whole experience so special.

I could just sit in there all day and get some calming benefit from it. And lastly, but most importantly, Malite has a calming and caring spirit. She is easy to talk to, a loving soul. The facial is quiet but there is a sharing of wonderful energy that I'm still benefiting from - hours after my facial has ended.
