Michelle, the owner, first and foremost is excellent hair styling. She continues to stay updated on current techniques and trends, and encourages her entire staff to receive ongoing education. The place is a very warm atmosphere, doesn't contain the drama that I've seen at other businesses. Michel has been doing my hair for almost 2 decades now. She's the only one I trust as, between my health issues, pregnancies, and other concerns, Michelle they just want to do so as to give me the look I desired but balance it with the health of my hair and self. Michelle and her crew deserve five stars, every day of the week.

My experience at Salon V was exceptional. I don't normally go to get my hair colored, but I decided to treat myself as a present. Rachel did a fantastic job cutting and coloring my hair exactly how I wanted it, it looks fantastic. She is also extremely knowledgeable about her hair products, and was able to get me exactly what I needed to maintain my color, and keep my curly hair hydrated. I will absolutely be going back to her in the future!

I work in the film industry and have gotten my hair done by with some of the best stylists in the business. Recently moved to CT, I was so nervous to find someone I could trust but a family friend referred me here. I really hate giving away my best gems-- but Rena at Salon V is the shit! She not only made my hair look longer(!) but she carefully crafted my natural red/auburn hair into a deep mahogany! It's fabulous.

The cut is perfect. Love being able to talk to a stylist with no filter and get results beyond my expectations. To boot, she's entertaining as hell and will keep you laughing til the end. I certainly will be booking out with her! XO Thanks Rena - you were my Christmas miracle!

As a new resident of westport and my wife's personal test kitchen I had Terry cut my hair after not having a hair cut for three and a half months. To say i looked like a shaggy dog was an understatement as i had thick hair that was a good three and a half inches longer than normal. Terry was professional, engaging and while she cut my hair in a different way meaing it was a different process it looks as good if not better than its ever been cut. I won't be doing anehre elso to thanks again Terry!

Terry explained what she suggested for my cut and why. She was professional and friendly. Later, when I thanked her for doing such a wonderful job, I added that I liked her leaving it "piecy" she replied it fits my upbeat personality. I thought that was nice. Additionally, there was a young "apprentice" nearby, for whom she explained some of the techniques she was using in a friendly manner.

This was my first visit to Salon V, coming from Stratford. The atmosphere and staff are comforting. That along with getting a terrific hair cut, will prompt me to return! Thanks

I am not one to just go get my haircut by anyone, your basic girl with trust issues when it comes to a new salon. but when I say I am so beyond in love with Salon V I mean it! Terry is so patient and and truly takes her time listening to what look you are going for and lets you know the process of what she is doing while she is doing it, while maintaining good conversation.which made me feel welcomed and calm! Highly recommend Terry and this awesome environment that is Salon V!

I came in here for a blow dry and I was so blown away (excuse the pun) by my stylists warm, welcoming nature! I had a blow out by Terryann who was so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted rather than doing her own thing! She's so personable and accommodating and she's what I would come back to this salon for!

I recently went here after I had a hair fail at a another salon. (basically a different color, was too ashy & I needed more golden) They helped me right away with my hair. No appointment, maybe I was lucky. The two girls I didn't get their names but if they're reading this they know! I'm so happy with the little transformation. Sweet staff and all that matters is I'm happy with my hair! The salon has a beautiful trendy atmosphere.

I'm new to the area and after lots of research and asking around I decided to give Salon V a try and I'm so happy I did. I made my first appointment online and was paired up with Jackie. From the moment I sat in Jackie's chair she was thoughtful and patient. We discussed what I like and wanted to change about my hair and then she got to work. I was given the best highlights and low lights I've had in years and a hair cut that gives my long hair layers without looking choppy but just the right amount of movement. The salon has loads of parking, is very cozy inside and was nice and clean. I was nervous to make a salon switch but I'm so happy I did.

Terry is a true find! I have been meaning to leave a review for Terry at Salon V for a long time. She has been my hairstylist (cut and color) for years. Before finding Terry, I would always jump around salons because I was never completely happy with the results. Terry always seems to know what I'm looking for even when I don't explain it well!

She takes her time to consult with me at the beginning of my appointments and always confirms that I'm happy at the end. She manages to fit me in when I need a last minute appointment which I very much appreciate. Salon V is a wonderful Salon filled with a professional and friendly staff. Terry is extra considerate and very very talented. Highest recommendation.

I don't typically publish reviews but I need to express how thrilled I am with my recent services. After listening to my wish to no longer color my hair, Michelle took on the challenge of returning me to my natural color, which is currently a silvery white. She took the time to carefully consider a variety of processes and the condition of my previously colored and highlighted hair.

Not only did she tone the previously colored hair to a beautiful shiny silver, but she managed to blend it with my natural regrowth. I believe she achieved a contemporary look while freeing me from hair dyes, crayons and sprays to hide my gray. Michelle has a great deal of knowledge and experience with hair color. She selects her product lines with extreme care and stays up on new formulations and techniques.

No matter what hair service she is providing, she considers the complexities associated with achieving the desired outcome and provides feedback before she moves ahead. She is a genuinely caring person who is fully committed to making her clients happy. Thank you Michelle!

Its been 25 yrs since I have had someone else do my hair, being a hairdresser I'm not the easiest. I needed my hair highlighted and decided to try someone new I'm very happy I did. Ashley did a beautiful job I'm so excited, thank you Ashley for making me feel pretty

Very good salon. Samantha did my hair and was able to get me to the ashy blonde I've been continually asking for at salons, which had never come out the way I wanted it before. It's a bit pricey but you definitely get back what you pay for.

After years of trying out different salons throughout Fairfield county, no longer wanting to drive all of the way to MA, I just wasn't 100% satisfied with the haircuts I was receiving. After reading some of the other positive reviews, I decided to try out Salon V, driving 40 minutes from Danbury. And man, am I so glad I did! I made my appointment online, easy peasy, selected first available for the time slot I desired.

The stylist that I was paired up with originally was out sick, so I was moved over to Terry's chair. And as fate would have it, it was a perfect match. As a stylist with over 30 years of experience, she listened to what I was looking to have done, and dare I say it, almost intuitively gave me just what I was looking for. No kidding. As a 45 y/o mother of a 3 1/2 y/o rambunctious boy, I don't consider my hair "sexy" by any means. Terry gave me sexy hair.

Even with my jacked up hair color (faded reddish purple by my own creation), it still looks amazing. Not an easy task, I know. She also took the time to explain many things to me about my hair, and what manner of blow drying (for when I have time to do so), would work best for the state my hair is in. Needless to say, I have found my new hair home.

If you're looking for someone with oodles of experience, no fuss no muss. And a personable woman who listens to what you want, but is also going to be honest with you about what can realistically be achieved, then Terry is the one for you.

Walked in randomly on Saturday before Mother's Day which was a total shot in the dark. But they were really awesome took me right in. Place was beautiful inside and the location was great too. Off the main road so parking wasn't a hassle.

I'm a bit of a hair cut chicken. I've had too many lousy cuts over as many years and have been hesitant to try anyone new after my trusted stylist moved out of state. I've gone over 2 years with anything more than one bargain cut just to take off the dead ends. I met Michelle out and about one afternoon and we talked about my hair, my concerns and my deep desire to maintain my hair length, which is probably way longer than most professionals would deem to be ideal for me.

I went home and booked an appointment almost immediately. Salon V is beautiful. I love the very private and very classy styling stations. Michelle took the time to listen to what I wanted and respected my wishes for keeping length but giving me shape and style versatility. We discussed future tactics to update my look (baby steps) and then Sam stepped in and gave me a perfect blow out and told me what to do to maintain the look for a couple of days.

I booked my next appointment and an appointment for my hippie chick almost 11 year old daughter to get her a new rockin' style for her birthday. I found a new, comfy home for my hair needs and look forward to seeing what kind of tricks Michelle has up her sleeves.

Our exerience was excellent. Samantha took care of my daughter's hair. She was sweet, courteous and did a beautiful job on long damaged hair. She listened, explained clearly and gave her exactly what she wanted. Originally we had asked for a deep conditioning treatment and she advised us that it wasn't necessary and saved us wasting money! We highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Rena is the reason I keep returning to Salon V.! She is timely, professional, personable, and does excellent color and highlights, and gives one heck of a haircut. She is honest and never tries to upsell, but rather always knows what she needs to do to make your hair look refreshed natural, and healthy. I always leave the salon feeling rejuvenated and pretty again!

I came to this salon from Stamford based on the "blonde highlight" reviews that customers gave about the stylist Christina! Today was my second time having Christina do my highlights and I'm so happy with the results. She takes her time to blend the blonde so beautifully so that when it starts growing out it looks natural! All my blonde ladies -- do yourself a favor and pay Christina a visit for your next color session!

I am new to CT and picked Salon V & Christina based on the reviews. I was very happy with my choice for sure. She was so sweet, listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions. I appreciated how much time she took to explain what she thought we should do with my color and why it would make sense. As a mom who doesn't always take time for herself, it was such a nice afternoon--and Christina recommended highlights that were lower maintenance than what I had before so keeping up with it is a non issue. I loved the finished product and my whole experience. Would definitely recommend.

I am new to Fairfield and went to Salon V because it had good reviews. I just had a hair cut with Crystal and couldn't be more pleased. She listened to what I wanted and helped me decide what to do with my hair. It looks fantastic. She read my mind. I will definitely be back.

After many years with another salon in Fairfield with lately very disappointing results, I started an online search for someone new. I found Salon V. My first attraction to it was because they provided bios of all the stylists and the good reviews. I chose Michelle. Long story short, I went in a mess color-wise and style-wise and came out transformed. Michelle's knowledge and expertise were very obvious and something I honestly had not experienced before.

I have been getting compliments on my new look-what makes you feel better than that! Bottom line, best color and cut I ever received, lovely staff, beautiful salon, convenient location, comparable prices. Just had my second appointment and am still very very pleased. I love this salon! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and all of the staff are such nice people. Rena has been my stylist for the past 3 years, I always get highlights in the summer and they come out amazing! She also does a great job transitioning my hair when I go darker in the fall/winter months. I look forward to my time at the salon and always leave there happy!
