Best facial EVER! My experience with Lani was amazing. Very knowledgeable about skin treatments, relaxing and therapeutic. Very happy with the results!

Janet gave me a conditioning treatment, trim and style. She was AMAZING! She made me feel super comfortable, made great convo, and my hair felt and looked soooo good after! I highly recommend going to Janet the next time you go in. Keep doing your thing, Janet, YOU ROCK!

Sandy Rosales was great, for my 30 min 1 on 1 service she was informative, professional, caring and detailed.

This is my second time getting a facial from Danielle B. & I'm just as satisfied as the first time. She remembered things from my previous visit that made me feel well-taken care of in regards to my needs. She was pleasant and efficient in her service!

I got the acne facial with Megen on 06/21, and I will definitely be coming back. The service itself was super relaxing, and the staff is very professional and informative. Megen was super gentle, informative, and my skin looks great just two days later! She also recommended I get the Aveda acne cleansing pads to incorporate into my routine, and I purchased them and are very happy with my results so far.

My daughter's hair is frizzy, curly and coarse. She needed a conditioning treatment, so we went to see Nevaeh. She suggested the hair and scalp botanical treatment. My daughter's hair was super soft and not frizzy at all. Nevaeh did a fantastic job with her hair and also entertaining my 10yr old during the process.

Lani Ramirez! She's amazing! Thank you for such a great facial. I can't say more but it's been the best one I've received here so far!

Chelsea M. was amazing. She did a amazing job! She was confident in her idea and executed it. She walked me through the process and made me feel comfortable. Good conversation good energy. Also River assisted blow drying and styling my hair which was nice it sped up the service. It was a pleasure to spend my day off relaxing and getting pampered with good company. Great job girls

I use the products and visit Aveda salons, so contacted the institute to schedule appointments. Despite reaching out twice, no one got in touch with me to confirm the appointments. I was left disappointed.

Had the best experience with Uriel today when he colored my roots! This young man is going places! The only issue I have with Aveda in the 4-5 times I have had my hair colored here is that they don't apply anything to the face to protect it from the hair dye; my pale skin ends up with stains I can't scrub off. I know other schools have a remover they use.

This is my 2nd time getting a haircut at Aveda. My stylist this time, Vanessa Lopez, did an even better job than the cut I got last year. I think this might have been her first time cutting hair because she took quite a long time, but at least she was thorough. $19 for a haircut is well worth the extra time it took.

This should be 0 stars. I went in there with pictures of how I wanted to look and walked out looking like a drag queen clown show. My makeup didn't match my skin, and my hair was flat to my head. I was so embarrassed. I don't even have a picture of how I looked because I was scared to look at myself lmao. I had Courtney, who supposedly had worked there for 12 months.

My poor mom was terrified. They even took pictures of me after, I couldn't believe it. I sneezed and my eyelash came off. I'm just in shock that they took my money and allowed me to leave like that, for PROM. I had to take off all my makeup and redo my hair an HOUR before prom. Unbelievable.

I went for a pedicure and manicure at this place for the first time. Maya was allocated to me for this. She washed my feet with warm water and soap and then asked do you want to exfoliate? I was shocked to hear that. Then when I said yes she was in so much rush. Not even 2 minutes for both feet's and she was like unfortunately this thing (the liquid that she was using to exfoliate) is not working.

Inside I was like you are in so much hurry and you are blaming the liquid. she did not took anything seriously that is involved in a pedicure. No proper scrubbing and no massage just applying the lotion(again in a hurry). Only thing she spent time was applying nail paint 4 layers. Why? Because she did no buffing and my nails were curvy so nail paint looked uneven.

To hide that she was reapplying. Next we went to manicure station and again just washes my hand and then applies nail paint after cuticle cleaning. I don't consider that a pedicure and manicure. I wasted my time and money both at this place. Do not recommend. Pictures attached are when I came back home and showed it to others today.

I went in after being long overdue for color. Wendy and Loretta were wonderful! I've always used Aveda salons but this was my first time at a school and I was so impressed with their work. I was so happy with their work and would refer anyone to them. On top of a wonderful job doing my hair, they were also the kindest and sweetest girls.

I love the environment here! I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted and left with a confidence boast! I made my appointment about a week in advance. I knew I wanted blonde in my dark brown hair. And I thought I would have to go at least 2 times and pay an arm and a leg plus all 20 toes to get it to look blonde and not that copper color. But In 6 hours, I was a blonde.

Thank you to Chelsea M. Who took her time and really got the look I wanted. This is the second time coming here and everyone is always so friendly. I would definitely one again! See pics below of what I went in with vs. what I left with

I went in to see Kaiyla R. yesterday because I desperately needed some shaping and dead ends sent to hair heaven. She did an amazing job! Kaiyla was super sweet and the conversation made the experience even better! I'd 100% go and see her again and highly recommend her if you need any hair services! I'm SO happy with how my hair came out and it looks and feels a million times healthier.

5 stars for my 60 minute massage with Belinda. (She adjusted my psoas muscle which has most likely been causing pain and calluses on my right foot for quite some time.) She was amazing and very personable. 5 stars for Rachael and her patience with curling my hair for a night out with friends. It was darling. The reason I didn't write a 5 star review is because they offer makeup services which are subpar.

They should honestly remove it completely from the list of services. The colors weren't great, sharpeners were missing, etc. It was pretty much a joke. I had blotchy cheeks and my eye makeup was not good. I pretty much rubbed it off once I got into the car.

I've known Eden my whole life and she has been doing my hair for as long as I can remember. My opinion on what she did is completely unbiased, as I'm not afraid to point out something I don't like. She has such a natural talent and a great eye for detail. I came in with very damaged hair with an orange-ish tint from grown out highlights. The color she dyed my hair is the exact color I wanted-a color no other hairstylist has been able to achieve. I wish I lived closer to my best friend, I don't want to get my hair done anywhere else now!

Came here a couple of times, I had a lovely updo for a wedding, make sure to book time out accordingly as the service may take longer depending on the student assigned, hair length and up do intricacies. Most recently, saw Rachael Allen for a gloss and color touch up. She did an excellent job! Will go back.

From the moment you step in you are greeted with a smile that radiates beyond the mask. Spa and Salon services are both available, the teachers there are remarkable and patient which translates to their students and their services. LaTia did a honey blonde on my curly hair and I loved the results! Dulce was very attentive and lived up to her name. Penelope did a serene job with my double exfoliation, she was gentle and made me feel so relaxed.

This place is very affordable and I leave feeling like gold every time I step out! The only thing I hope they add in the future is perhaps a few services dedicated to curls. I cannot wait to go back to try their nail services as well as their massages!

This was my first time going to Aveda Institute and it was totally worth it! For $19 I had a haircut, mini-facial, and neck/shoulder massage. Jill Soper was my stylist - she was friendly and really listened to what type of hairstyle I wanted. Aveda also has monthly specials on massages and facials. I will definitely be coming back!

Talented, empathetic, and passionate-Jill is all you need in a stylist. Jill carefully listens to her clients to understand their needs while also envisioning what would best suit their lifestyle. Anyone looking for a healthy style refresh with an artistic flair should definitely get on Jill's waiting list!

Uriel did a great job on my cut! He also had the perfect amount of conversation and letting me relax. He is also the most gentle stylist I've ever had, so if you are tender headed ask for him!

Just had an amazing 60min facial! My esthetician was Nika. Check in was quick and easy. I wasn't prepared to receive a mini foot massage with my 60min facial but it was a nice surprise! The sheets and towels felt and smelled clean which is important (I've had sus experiences at other places). Nika was amazing, with relaxed and calm energy. Very knowledgeable. Her technique is great. I can't wait to come back! Also all the products she used on me were absolutely amazing for my skin type.

I came for a long overdue haircut. Daniel helped me out. The scalp massage was awesome - Daniel has a massage license. He took his time leveling out my hair and framing the front. After he finger curled and put a yummy smelling concoction to enhance my natural curls. He was a great conversationalist. I appreciated feeling like an important client. I would love to come back to Aveda Institute LV and visit Daniel again.

It's not every day this mama gets to escape crazy life on a week day and head to a spa for hundreds of dollars. Good thing there's Aveda Institute and Groupon to help save you money and feel beautiful. I haven't used Groupon in years and the first business that showed up was trending. Facial at Aveda. After drinking some wine, boom, I bought a 60 minute Tulasara custom facial for $29 (plus 20% off deal, normally $45).

I visited on a Tuesday morning at the end of September. I made my appointment the day before with Sasha. Checking in was easy no line and they escorted me right back to the waiting room. I was offered tea or water while I waited listening to peaceful spa music. My esthetician was Sierra and she had a student Melissa shadowing her during my facial.

I was taken back to the room space. This is a school so there were lots of students and others having services done. I could hear small chatting. The curtain facial room was small. Sierra washed and massaged feet at arrival while she asked me questions regarding my facial. The basket on the bed has a wrap to put on and for you to place your clothes in.

During my facial Sierra told me about the products she was using on my face, showed me the mirror, massaged my arms hands neck chest and back, and steam with a hot towel. It was very relaxing and calming. At the end of my massage I had an exit interview with her instructor giving positive feedback. For the price I paid and no tipping allowed I was pleasantly surprised with all the unexpected extras. Sierra walked me out and we discussed some of the products she recommended.

I bought the liquid exfoliant ($25) since I never had one before and don't like the rough gritty exfoliant on my skin. At checkout I received 2 product samples from the sweet receptionist. All in all, I had a great first experience here at Aveda. Everyone is super friendly, professional, and kind. Why pay a fortune anywhere else when you can come here and experience an affordable facial, hair service, or massage. I will definitely come back in the near future and try something new.

Today I had the pleasure of getting my hair done at the Aveda School and I'm so glad I did. My stylist Marisol did a phenomenal job! Not only was she friendly and professional she made my hair look like a million bucks! My hair was damaged, and it had been a very long time since I got it colored. She blended my new growth in with the old color, covered my grays, and made it look so healthy! I'm eternally grateful! I'll definitely be back!

Ssoooo.when I went in for my appointment, I already knew these guys were students & that they were learning. I didn't know the teacher was going to ask me if I wanted to donate my hair. I just said yes, because it's better than throwing it away, right? THEN they told me where it was going. CANCER PATIENTS. I'm a brain tumor patient, (was non cancerous) and when they told me where I was donating my hair, I teared up like CRAZY.them telling me THAT alone gave me chills.

More reason to donate! Here I thought all this time I was just getting my hair cut, because it's really hard to take care of my long hair nowadays, because of the extremely hot weather in Las Vegas. To my surprise, I did something even BETTER. I'm gonna miss my long hair, but I do like the short hair after a long time though. I'm so happy I could help the students here at the school AND donate to a great cause on top of that. Daniel, my hair stylist did a great job, thank you SO much! EVERYONE that I spoke to here, was really nice. I was very comfortable coming here, and when I do get something done with my hair again in the future, I'm definitely coming back! I really feel good about this place.

Was very thankful to get Skylar for my haircut and hair mask treatment. I didn't know how to explain how I wanted my layers, but she me how to explain to me the different techniques for options and she did a great job! It's clear she is passionate about hair! The instructors came to check each step of the process and kept an eye on all the students to help guide them with helpful suggestions.

She and another student that didn't have anyone to practice on styled my hair in pin curls which made me feel very pampered! Everyone there has a positive vibe and they brought me herbal tea while they worked! I was thrilled I was even able to get an appointment the day after I called! Amazing service!
