Great appointment with Nancy. Due to back issues I could not get my hair done for medical reasons. I called. my regular stylist to I could not get an appointment for WEEKS.I So I reviewed the current staff at VanDavis and selected Nancy. She is a Master Stylist and my hair turned out fabulous. Plan in place I see her again in 10 weeks

I really like this place I have been looking for an LGBTQ friendly place and it seems hard to find. When I booked the haircut they asked me my pronouns and they listed as a gender neutral cut on my confirmation. I really appreciate that. I also love Christy who does my hair. I just feel very comfortable here and appreciate the quality. It also feels nice to be offered water and tea during your haircut. They are also very COVID safe which puts me at ease

My first visit was very nice. My stylist was professional and friendly. As a visitor to Winston Salem it was nice to find an Aveda salon - we called my hometown Aveda for the color formula and it came out great as well as my cut. I would highly recommend them. The reason for 4 stars not 5 is because I was not notified in advance that because of Covid they would not blow dry my hair.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality Chava is amazing! She has been doing Brazilian waxes for me for a long time. I followed her from another salon because she takes such good care of my sensitive skin and makes the process fun. She has also done a facial for me and my skin was so pretty and fresh after. Read my top drawer review. Van Davis on Stratford in Winston-Salem, NC is 10 out of 10 stars! Clean, all wear mask, chairs spaced out properly, only 3 stylist at a time in shop, everything sprayed down between clients. Nancy my stylist is definitely top drawer. GREAT JOB AT THIS SALON

Friendly, prompt service. I felt like I was treated like a queen (or at least like a princess!)! I feel so relaxed after Chris massaged my head and shoulders and relieved me of what seemed like several pounds of hair - I just want to go home & take a nap!

I had a 3:00 p.m. appointment for a pedicure, for an event I have tonight. I drove an hour and 15 minutes from Salisbury North Carolina to Winston-Salem North carolina. I got there early after lunch with a friend, hung out and did some shopping and trader Joe's when my phone rang at 2:00 that they were canceling my appointment. I assume that they only have one person who's capable of doing pedicures.

I chose instead to use my gift card from my son for product, I will never go back here as the cashier and customer service rep had nasty nails, you work in the salon and all of your nail polish is all but off!

I always love my experience at Aveda. From the minute you enter the store, the customer experience is wonderful. Even in COVID - they have been so mindful. Also, my stylist Taylor is wonderful. She listens to what I want, but gives good professional advice as well. I have never walked away disappointed!

I was a customer here for almost 6 years. They're all so nice and professional. Christy always did my color and cuts, she's awesome and so friendly too! Chava Is Amazing- 100! She did a lash lift and facial on me. The lash lift lasted a long time, about 7 weeks. Yazmine helped me unwind with a pedicure and manicure. My nails were beautiful after she did them. I will miss everyone at Van Davis Aveda! I moved away that is the only reason I'm still not going to this salon. I highly suggest you give them a try! Thank you

I have gone here for nearly three years now and have always had a great experience. The first few times, I tried out whoever was available (I can't remember their names anymore) but for the last two years now I have always gone to see Nancy. Nancy did a fantastic job with my hair accommodating a number of different styles. I would often leave the haircut instructions open for her to experiment because I trusted her sense of style.

She would often come up with some amazing ideas that I could have never thought of myself. I never had one bad haircut here and I'm sad to have to find a new stylist since I'm leaving North Carolina. I have only used the haircut services and did not buy any of their products so I cannot comment on anything else. If you want a great haircut, ask for Nancy! I cannot recommend her enough.

Beautiful Old World European Atmosphere! This is definitely a must see salon. Family owned! Great team! Love the whole entire staff at Van Davis Aveda Salon!
