Had an appointment with Erika jean, she cut my hair in the worst possible way, I should've stayed home and cut my hair myself, it was a complete waste of 100$ I've been here once before and got my hair cut with another person, she did a decent job, Erika Jean did a bad job on my hair, it looks very choppy and bad. A child can cut better hair. I have to wait for a few months and go to someone better

I visited this salon for a blowout and I was charged $96. I didn't go any haircut or hair coloring, just curls that didn't last for that long. I shared my experience with my friends and they were shocked. Bridals not even cost that much and mine was just a regular blowout. For the same service few months ago I paid $48 and when I asked why I paid this time the double price there was no clear answer.

If you are treating clients like that your business will shut down for sure. Now I understand why it was so easy to get an appointment on the same day. Not only I paid the double price but they are lying in their response by saying that previously I did not have a hair wash. I remember exactly what I had and it's not my fault that it took 1 hour for the curls as the iron was not working properly.

I've gotten multiple haircuts from Tristan and he never fails to disappoint! No matter how vague my hair requests are he always creates something amazing, and is so versatile in his smills! Tristan is fun and lovely to talk to and my experiences have been so enjoyable. I cannot recommend him more!

I moved back to Seattle after 30 years in NYC and luck lead me to Tristan (I followed him to Beehive from another salon). Tristan is skillful and creative. He shares ideas and then asks what I want. I love hearing about possibilities - sometimes I go for a new do or color, sometimes I don't. I always leave Tristan's chair feeling fabulous, delighted with my look, and pampered. Red is a difficult color to maintain, so all you redheads (or red-curious!) folx out there, your mane will be gorgeous after a session with Tristan.

I've been to Beehive twice; second time I saw Lisa A. for a haircut after the pandemic, and she spent the entire appointment chastising me for the condition my hair was in post-covid. I think even the other stylists were shocked because they were quiet and looking at her. When you treat your customers this badly and spend the entire appointment criticizing them, you can be certain they won't be back. Two stars for the nice front desk and I think the salon owner has a good reputation. If you go there, avoid this particular stylist and you may have better luck.

So it's been about a week since my haircut and i have to just say. I'm obsessed. I'm so thankful Mckay was there to ease my mind about my current situation (fried hair due to at home dye process) and helped me cut away the damage without taking off too much length. Had a last minute cut with Ivy and really like my haircut! I was nervous about trying a new salon, but I felt comfortable and Ivy provided recommendations about my hair color and what she thought she might be able to do. I will definitely book an appointment here again when I'm back in Washington!

Just moved to the neighborhood and went to Beehive for the first time. It was really easy and straight forward to book and choose your stylist online before I went in. I love the fact that we don't have to wear to masks inside if we are vaccinated. For their cute deco and friendly staffs, I am coming back.

I used to see Elliot there, she always took the time to explain things about my hair to me. She is very personable and friendly. I recently re-found her at her new salon, The Wolf and Co on the other side of Greenlake. So happy I found her again! Services: Hair coloring, Hairstyling

This is an elevated salon with elevated stylists. The owner is an amazing person who genuinely cares about her staff, who is extremely experienced and tenured just like her. Definitely pop in for a service and support this local business!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Nina. I found this salon looking up top salon's in Seattle and this popped up as a top recommendation. I peeked at Nina's Instagram before I scheduled. She listened to what I needed, was attentive, my hair feels and looks wonderful. She was born to do hair! Great value. While some stylists might be a little more expensive the salon as a whole is totally worth the money. I've had my hair cut at some of the more expensive salons and have not been as satisfied. I have received many compliments on my hair.

Simply the kindest stylists around and the front desk is genuinely friendly and helpful. I follow them in Instagram and get inspiration from the amazing talent. 6 stars if i could!

Had a great haircut with Nina! Also went to bethany for consult and thanks to her strand testing my hair before coloring I avoided a weird green color due to henna I had previously applied. Great service! Careful staff!

I go to both the Queen Anne and West Seattle locations. They are both awesome. I see Shannon at Queen Anne and Lisa at West Seattle. I have naturally wavy-straight hair. Pretty straight forward hair, but they do a great job with my long hair, long + elegant (soft) layers. Simple cut, but believe me, other places have messed that up by being too 'choppy.' Happy with this salon and will keep coming back!

The layers grow up really well too. I like that you can also book different artists based upon your budget too - so if you can't afford the most senior person, go for a junior person and still get a great cut! Thanks Beehive!

It was my first time in to this salon and I saw Bethany. First of all, they literally got me in the same day I called and thank god because I was desperate. Bethany was amazing! So so so excited to have found her. Thank you, Bethany!

Bethany did a lovely job with my new cut today, I came in with only an idea of length and after asking me some questions and sharing her idea for what would look good, she created the perfect style that I love! She checked in with me throughout the cut to make sure I liked the length, if I wanted more layers, etc. Will definitely be going back to see her. Also, the new salon on Queen Anne is really nice, doesn't feel crowded and takes COVID precautions seriously.

Beehive Salon is no longer in Tangletown. I have gone to them twice - each experience was pleasant. One time was before COVID, the second time was during. Both times I was promptly greeted by the receptionist and offered water. The salon smells amazing, they have quality products for sale in front (the same products they use on their customers). I've only ever gotten my hair cut, I've never used their other services. Both haircuts have been amazing, the women who provided the services were friendly, and I would happily trust anyone they employ.

Lauren in the West Seattle salon gave me a flattering cut and highlights that turned out nowhere near as warm as I feared! Stylists usually tell me that my color will be "warm, " which for me translates to "sparkly pumpkin." This color is so natural and in some light actually ice cold. Lauren is a genius with color and coarse hair. Her background in art really informs her understanding of weight, motion, balance, and color. And she is really nice about it if you show up with covid hair! I'll be able to grow out some grey in a cute, fun way.

I had the most fantastic facial from Jill last week! My skin is still glowing and the texture is the best it's felt this whole pandemic! The protocols in place (the screening, N95 masks and face shields) made me feel safe getting a facial during this time. I highly recommend Jill if you could use some self-care; hands down the best facial I've had in years!

Ivy did an excellent job doing color and haircut. Pretty excited about my look after Covid lockdown. Wanted to give good review for Elliott. She did very good job on hair cut and gave some great suggestions on what to do about my damaged hair. She spends time trying to understand what you want and provides great suggestions. I am going back for color!

In terms of salon it looks very cute and easy to find parking. buI didn't love their sitting area - trendy but not comfy, wooden benches. But it's not a big deal, obviously.

Just had my first visit to Beehive Salon a few weeks back and I had my haircut by Candice. She did an excellent job! I've been going to the same hair stylist for the past few years and she recently moved out of the country. My mother recommended Beehive and i'm so glad I came in. I was terrified to try a new stylist as my hair is long/very thick and I've had some pretty terrible experiences in the past.

Plus im soooo picky! but Candice was very attentive, took an ample amount of time and asked a lot of questions to make sure she understood what I wanted. I am so appreciative of her patience and attention to detail! I will definitely be back. General comments - the salon is well kept, nice entry/waiting area with a wide selection of Aveda products, and a super friendly receptionist.

I have been seeing Elliot for my hair needs for some time now. She has colored my hair, cut my hair several times, keratin treatment and also done multiple hair spas and blow dry. I really recommend her, she does a great job and is very honest. She tries to understand what you want and works with you to make sure you are happy. She also recommends products that are useful but doesn't try to sell you products you don't really need if your current hair care routine is fine as is. I've got many compliments for the hair color she gave me, she knew exactly what I wanted. I trusted her and I am really glad I did. The salon itself is cute and very open. They sell lots of aveda products for hair and skin. I will continue going to the salon.

Jessica fixed my botched haircut from a different salon and made me feel amazing again! Two days ago I had the horrible idea of getting a cheap haircut from Greatclips and lesson learned, when it comes to hair, take the high road and come to BeeHive for quality and expertise. It will be worth it every single time. When I walked in, my hair was flatly chopped at the bottom and the "layers" looked like Edward Scissor hands had a go at my hair after he had too many drinks and a nasty eye infection. Jessica listened so patiently about what happened, asked questions of how I wanted my hair to be and then followed up with a final "is there anything else you wanted to tell me about your hair or style". After and hour the WORLDS BEST SCALP MASSAGE (no joke) I walked out feelin my oats and strutting like queen B herself. Just kidding, but see before and after pics.
