I am the Waxing Diva, otherwise known as Travis Powell, and my specialty is the Brazilian wax. What is a Brazilian wax, you ask? It is a bikini wax where all the hair (yes, darling, that hair in the "hidden" pubic areas - lip and bum) is removed. You could say I do more than most to tame the wild hair.
Eri Higuchi, lead esthetician at SalonDEWI since 2004, is a familiar and friendly face at the spa. She is known as quick and efficient when it comes to waxing, but always aspires to help her clients look and feel beautiful. Eri has mastered the Brazilian since she joined SalonDEWI and learned the secrets from The Waxing Diva himself!
How long will my skin be smooth after waxing? The average time you will have silky, smooth skin is about four to six weeks depending on your own hair growth cycle. What can I do about ingrown hairs? You can use a loofah to help loosen up the skin that is around the hair follicle. Also, NoBumpRX, a professional product designed for waxing, helps to treat the skin around the waxed area, preventing ingrown hairs.

I have been going to Eri for eyebrow waxing since the winter of 2018. Growing up, I went to a myriad of waxing technicians and none would ever listen to what I requested or I would leave with skin ripped off(not exaggerating) but Eri has been my savior! She always listens to me and keeps it clean, professional, and does an outright beautiful job. I trust my brows in her hands and would recommend her to anyone!

Eri was amazing. I emailed trying to get a last-minute spot for that same day, and she called me back and was able to fit me in immediately. I came in with the intention of getting my eyebrows waxed and was playing with the idea of getting my eyelashes and eyebrows tinted. Eri talk to me about my options and how well she thought the tint would show up on my already dark brown lashes and brows.
No pressure whatsoever to do it, but very helpful in deciding that I did want to give it a try. She took her time doing my brows and lashes. You know sometimes when you're getting your eyebrows waxed, they're ripping so much and going so fast that you're concerned you're gonna sit up and have no eyebrows left? That is absolutely NOT what happened, she was so careful and every piece of wax felt very purposefully placed. My brows look fantastic and I absolutely will visit her again
