Awesome spot. Low on amenities but great prices and massages that actually delivery results.

I had the best experience yesterday with Kristin. I pampered myself with the La Choza Package. Each step the scrub, massage, the facial and pedicure were amazing. The mango scented scrub was awesome! The massage was perfect pressure. The facial was relaxing, and the pedicure was the cherry on the top! Even 24 hours after services, I am still putty and feel super relaxed. I'm already planning visit #2.

My husband and I got the Couples Romance Package and it was AMAZING! Kirsten and Jasper did a wonderful job. They were very professional, kind, courteous and friendly. We will definitely be making regular appointments with them.

5 stars is not enough for this salon no would give 7 stars. So accommodating and nice. I wanted a leg wax before the weekend. I called 2 salons and they were busy. I think called La Choza. They were also busy but the guy who answered said he would call me back. About 10 minutes later I got a call back and they accommodated my needs. The lady added me to her schedule and fit me in on the day I asked for. So sweet! My Consaltant was Kirsten. She was very professional, friendly and quick. Definitely going back. Plus, family owned. Even better. Thank you!

Best experience fir my first spa day. Massage was so good I was relaxed for a whole three days after. The facial also did wonder for skin! It would be worth it to pay a visit once a month.

Absolutely love this place! Mother and daughter are the best. Great communication. Clean and considerate. I did an hour total and when I left it felt like I had been massaged for hours. Left feeling amazing. Highly recommend!

Grateful to have found a great spa that is open! They do a great job in keeping their customers and staff safe. I went for a 90 minute relaxation massage and Clara was amazing! (I believe that's how you spell her name). She worked all the kinks out on my shoulder blades and relaxed my sore legs and feet. The massage was very thorough, relaxing, peaceful and the perfect amount of pressure! I'm glad I found a new massage place! Will definitely continue to go to!

The star if the aspa is the staff. They are not just friendly and nice, but gifted in regards of massaging skills. Elizabeth in particular is unbelievable. I have been doing deep tissue and muscle relaxing massages for more than 15 years (at different countries where I have lived through the years) and no one has been able to help me the way she has.

She is so thorough and detail oriented. You might feel a bit sore after your session but the short and long term benefits of her massage are priceless. If there is something I am not too keen of, is the spa rooms decor, which are not bad, but they are just not what I was expecting considering that there are other Spas with the same prices, and better image. That being said, when the service is so much superior that the fancy decor competitor, I prefer La Choza. Not even a question. Seriously, get Elizabeth!

I received a Spa Finder gift card and this place was the closet to me that accepted the card. The website is very deceiving. I saw a lot of services I was interested in that I haven't seen elsewhere. I called and booked an appointment. I showed up early for my appointment and was told that. I said I didn't mind waiting until my appointment time but I got a sense that she was disturbed by me being there early.

She said the girl would take me early and walked me back to a room. I was a bit taken back by what I saw. No spa chairs with bubbling water. Instead there were regular chairs like you would have at home. There was a stainless steel bowl with what looked like dish soap in it. The nail cutters and other implements they use were just sitting on a dirty shelf not in a sterilized package.

The woman asked if the water was hot enough and I said no. She came back with a smaller steel bowl and poured more water in. She asked if I wanted my nails cut and I said yes since had been awhile. She took one foot out at a time and put them on what looked like a 10 year old dirty bath towel on her lap. I had to scoot down in my chair in order to get the angle she needed to work on my feet.

All I got was my nails half ass cut and filed and then polish applied. All the services I saw available online were never offered to me. The service was switched to another woman about 10 minutes in so the person working on me could go finish a massage. She came back to complain about what the man wanted done. After my pedicure I got my manicure. The same girl who finished my pedicure did my manicure.

When I said I needed gel polish she informed me that's not what was written down for my appointment. I told her I was never asked what I wanted when I booked other than a manicure and pedicure. The manicure was just like the pedicure. I got my hand put in a small stainless steal bowl. My nails were cut and filed and gel applied. There was no cuticle care, no massage, no lotion nothing.

The implements again we're not taken from a sterilized package. They were just lying around and were put back to the same place after used. I honestly was shocked at the services provided. I didn't see a single license hanging where I was which makes me wonder if anyone had any formal schooling. In 9 days after my services my fingernail gel peeled off.

I have never had gel just peel off in whole pieces. Every single finger. Their website says 14 days so I emailed them and am waiting for a response. I will never return to this place and encourage people to not go there either. I have one toe that has become red and swollen and am praying it isn't an infection caused by this. *UPDATE*. It's been 2 weeks since reaching out to the business via email and phone with no response. I did report them to the State as I don't believe anyone is licensed and they don't seem to bother following sterilization of tools that I was able to see.

This place is decent enough - my personal experience here wasn't that great but it wasn't terrible either. I didn't leave feeling like I wasted $60 but I also have had better experiences at Motiff for 20 bucks lol. So I booked the reflexology massage for hands and feet. My initial impression is that the lady that did my massage had no formal training at all in actual reflexology.

I wish I would have got her name but I didn't, she did however tell me that she was the owners sister. I think that this place has potential to be a nice tucked away little spot for a quite massage but honestly the woman who did my massage was not that welcoming. She actually seemed a little irritated the whole time and I wasn't late or rude or anything.maybe she was just having a bad day lol.

She took me to the room and didn't really give me any instruction, I left my sports bra on because it was not a full massage and she seemed really bothered that I did. She did one of those exhales, you know the ones where your thinking "wow idiot" and then was like "next time you need to take this off". Needless to say it was rude because the truth is no I don't. Im paying not you so I don't have to so anything I don't want to do but ok.

So yeah. I basically resolved sometime in the middle of it all that I wouldn't be back and its a shame because I literally live within walking distance. But by all means try it out. It looks like a lot of people like what they have received from this place so hopefully if you decide to go that will be you :

Kristin is perfect for facials.! She was very gentle Nd professional.! Staff was welcoming.! They maintain calm Nd relaxing environment over der.! I just loved dis place.! Highly recommend dis place!

Bought a 60 minute Groupon for this place. Called and made an appointment for 3:30pm because I was off of work at 3:15pm so I made that very clear over the phone. I walk in and the lady at the front desk told me my appointment was scheduled for 3pm. We went back and forth but I decided I was just wasting my massage time. The massage was great but just very disappointed that I lost more than half of my time. Won't be coming back.

I treated myself and my friend to a 90-minute couple's massage and then individual 60-minute facials today. I chose La Choza for my special friend because I got a "good vibe" when I inquired in person about the scope of their services weeks ago. And it is hard to fully express the joy I got from the experience. This is not only because I really enjoyed the massage that Kirsten and Alisa (sp?) provided, but way more important, my friend was Clearly enjoying herself.

That made me happy. I also had the pleasure of the boss, Angelica, provide my very first facial after her staff, including her daughter, gave us our massages. This salon is the "real deal." They are all professionals. They are mostly familial. Everyone is respectful, accommodating, and sincerely friendly. They enjoy what they do, and that actually made the experience transcend beyond it just being a truly awesome massage and facial.

It never felt like they were just trying to finish their shifts, as is sometimes the case at other upper and high-end salons. They made us feel like our presence was the best part of their day. This place is not cheap, but it's not over-priced either. As a spa/salon enthusiast, the cost per person for 2 1/2 hours of sheer bliss and rejuvenation with your spouse, partner, friend, etc. is well worth it. Tip well my friends. This was the worst massage ever. I don't think the lady who did my massage had any professional training. I think if you are used to going to a day spa, you will like this place. I bought a groupon thinking that this was a nice spa. When I parked, I knew this place was not nice because you can even read their sign. They need to update their sign so that people can see.

When I went to my room, the room was just outdated. My massage therapist had the light on. No candle, no dim light. I actually had high hope for this place. If you want a nice spa experience and quality means more to you, go to another spa.

My girlfriends and I had an amazing time! Angelica's facials are the best. She takes her time and educates you on your skincare needs.

This was my first time seeing the ad on Groupon but I saw a Valentine's special and jumped on it to surprise my love. She was totally not expecting this and for both of us this was a first. Entering we are greeted immediately by the owner with a wonderful smile and even offered us a non-alcoholic drink. Great touch of class. The massage was perfect room setting with rose petals and music with the smell of aromatherapy.

The couples massage was 50 mins of a perfect massage. I usually have issues with my lumbar area and worked out the tension. Best massage I have had in years. My love enjoyed her first time here as well and I already have plans to go back and have facials done for both of us. They have earned my business moving forward.

I brought my mother and grandmother here over the holiday. My mom and I got a massage while my grandmother got a facial. The staff was friendly and their prices are reasonable. They also offer a wide variety of services. My massage was good but my mom's was lackluster. Also this wasn't quite the spa experience I had in mind for them. There is not really a locker room and def no steam or sauna room.

The massage room we were in was a bit cramped and was in like an old shower room. It was clean, but could just use some modernizing. I would go back though for a facial, they did a really great job on my grandma's skin.

I have heard of La Choza before I bought a Groupon for a 60 minute deep tissue massage. The experience was wonderful! I easily made my appointment over the phone and when I arrived they had me fill out a short form giving my basic information and asked for background (what areas do you carry your stress, are you currently experiencing any pain, etc).

My massage therapist was Elizabeth and she was amazing! This was one of the best massages I have ever had. I have a lot of knots in my back and shoulders. She really focused on all of those areas and used a decent amount of pressure. When I go back next time I will be sure to request Elizabeth again. Thanks Groupon for introducing me to La Choza.

Worst deep tissue massage I have ever had. I had to constantly tell the therapist to apply pressure. Also, the therapist kept coughing and was congested. I asked her to put a mask on, after realizing she had a cold- she never put mask on. I was very dissatisfied and had the therapist stop after 20 minutes. I will never go back there, luckily for me the manager was there and did not charge me for massage. Don't go there, total waste of your time.

I had a facial with Kirstan who was able to determine what my skin really needed rather than me guessing what kind of facial to book. I am older with dry damaged skin and I had booked the $130 treatment but she suggested an $80 treatment that was more appropriate! She was very good, excellent face massage, relaxing, she didn't chat during the facial, which was nice, the product was wonderful and my face really looked better afterwards, with fewer wrinkles. Wow! It's a small, simple spa and I'll be returning.

Ummm. $50 pedicure that only gives a 2 minute foot massage. The tools aren't autoclaved; so who knows how they are sanitized/disinfected? This isn't the place for me or my money. Oh and their bathroom is where a closet used to be. Awkward.

OMG my husband and I had an awesome time here! Such a beautiful day spa! We had a couple's massage and it was perfect. The rooms are dark and it had candles and rose petals everywhere. Before we got on our beds, they had us change into robes and and slippers. We also did a couple's pedicure and they served use drinks and strawberries! We felt so spoiled and pampered. The owner is so sweet and her daughter was the one that did my massage and she was so sweet!

I don't understand how La Choza is rated so low on here. I mean better for me because that means more time for me in this Gem of a spa. I had a massage from the owner who started her own company 13 years ago and also runs a HITT studio (which I will try). For being 26 my body is messed up. My days are spent sitting in a car to my work an hour away, sitting at my desk at work, then another hour back to De Anza, then sitting in class.

It doesn't help that I sit extremely slouched over and type in a trex pose. I don't stretch, I haven't worked out, honestly- just not taking the best care of myself. Anyways, lol. I got off a plane today after three hours of sitting and said enough is enough- I need a message so I called 10 places, finally someone returned my call and it was La Choza.

If you complain on yelp but don't say something in person the only person you have to blame is you. Everyone likes different intensity. We shouldn't judge the professionals because well, we're not professionals. If we were, we most likely wouldn't be trying this place out.

Angelica(spa owner) is an incredible massage therapist with years of experience. A firm touch that gets all the trouble spots out and very thorough too! I'm impressed by her attentive customer service which always makes me feel 'taken care of.' I hear she can handle a Brazilian wax treatment in under 15 minutes. Wow! I have no doubt about her exceptional work.
