Things to know prior to waxing When you make an appointment for a body waxing service, please make sure you have at least 1/4 inch of growth (generally 2-3 weeks) by the appointment date. The day of appointment, you should avoid using moisturizer. Do not tan, 24 - 48 hours prior to waxing, as this increases skin sensitivity.
