I wanted to love this place, I spent $1400 on 5 bundles(quoted $1300) of 22 inch extensions and after having the stylist reschedule twice I finally got the appointment, only after requesting a refund of my $600 deposit. I was so excited to have this done for a family party and when I arrived it was clear the other stylist had mismatched my hair color.
I had to sign a waiver or leave and rebook another month out since a stylist has COVID. Save your money and time and go somewhere else for quality extensions, while the hair and installation was good as far as I know, the extra 200 I had to pay my colorist to match my extensions plus the time it took to fix and I was still overcharged. The person that works the schedule and answering the phone is terrible and highly unprofessional.
The building is old and very dark with an only occasionally operating elevator. It's a five story climb, don't wear heels. Lol! Actually save yourself the time and frustration and book somewhere else!

I initially went in just to ask questions, basically shopping around for prices, I ended up booking an appointment just loved the whole atmosphere there. I love Jennifer is she amazing and really took her time to make sure I got what I wanted. She color matched my hair so well I can't even tell where the extension is! Totally recommend coming here you will not regret it. Their receptionists are so friendly and have great communication, they make it so easy to book.

I am an actress who is doing a show in Chicago. I needed natural looking hair extensions for the role I was playing. I went to Chicago Hair extension and my hairdresser was Jen. I love the way my hair looks because the extensions look natural. All my friends love my new look. The next time I visit the north shore, I'll be back again for another appointment. Love this place!

I have always had a full, thick head of curly long hair, but since I caught COVID-19, my hair has never been the same. It would not grow and I had no idea just how thin my hair was from behind until I went to meet the owner, Jennifer Moore, at Chicago Hair Extensions Salon for my initial consultation. Jennifer took pictures of the front & back of my hair. Needless to say, I was mortified at how terrible the condition of my hair looked from behind (especially knowing all of the money I had spent over the years trying to repair my hair).
I felt hopeless. I was scared to make the change- the decision to di it. I liked the salon and the entire staff were warm and welcoming. The salon was clean and I felt comfortable with how professional the process was. So, I made the appointment to come back two weeks later to meet with Jennifer Moore, the owner. Bottom line: If I could give Chicago Hair Extensions Salon in Skokie, a 10-star Rating, I would!
In only two-hours, after Jennifer finished, I literally sat in her chair and cried tears of joy! I had my full head of long curly hair once again and it looked completely natural! The color couldn't have been any more perfect and it was obvious that Jennifer knew exactly what she was doing. They had wonderful hair products and an entire makeup line (reasonable priced), which I loved (and highly recommend the eye concealer which provides incredible coverage).
What I really appreciated, was the fact that as friendly as the Staff were, they did not push or "hard sell" their other products or services on me. The finished product made me feel hopeful again. I could look at myself in the mirror and like what I saw. I felt confident in my appearance and was so happy that I could look like that again. I found that inner contentment again.
After my divorce and having to solely raise four children and work 16+ hours a day for decades, I had lost myself along the way. Today, I am back. I am happy, confident and free! All of my children cant stop smiling when they look at me. They tell me I look ten years younger because I look like a natural, healthy young woman again. I cannot thank Chicago Hair Extensions Salon enough for changing my life!

I got hair extensions done by Ashley last month. My hair used to be medium length but with these extensions, it now down to my waist. I love the way they look and I been getting a lot of compliments. One thing I appreciate is how my hairdresser Ashley explained all the different prices. These are a lot better than the cheap clip I used to wear.

I saw Jennifer for the consultation and then made my appointment for hand tied extensions. I can barely tell the difference between my own hair and the beaded wefts. After she put them in she explained how to care for them. I like that these extensions are safe on my hair. I can wear them to the pool and put them in pony tail with no problems.

I have medium length hair and have always envied those girls with the long flowing locks. A friend from work recommended this salon to get extensions done. It was worth the trip to travel from the suburbs to Chicago. I always like having an excuse to go downtown. Jenny is a fantastic hairstylist. She walked me through each method for extending hair during the consultation.
On the day of the appointment, I came back to the city to be transformed. Great Lengths Extensions really looked great for me. The fusion took a little while but worth the wait. I can't wait for my next appointment. Super knowledgeable staff!

My natural hair is so thin and short so I have been getting hair extensions since I have been in high school and I have spent a ridiculous amount of money on them for years. The salons I have been to were way overcharged and didn't even have good service. I went to Chicago Hair Extensions to receive their So Cap Extensions and their service and price was better then I could have imagined.
It was reasonably price and Jenny was great and made the experience even better. My extensions were soft and shiny, and it made my hair so voluminous, I could not have asked for a better ending result. I have never received such genuine and great treatment from a salon in a long time. The salon's location is right next to Old Orchard Mall so I did a little shopping with my new hair right after and grabbed some lunch, it was very convenient and everything about the experience was worth it. I have recommended Chicago Hair Extensions Salon to all my friends and continue to go their religiously. It is a great place with great service and great people. LOVE it

I've been wanting 18 inch extensions all summer long and made it my goal to get them done before school started back. The only problem was I had to wait an extra month for my hair to grow a little longer before actually getting it done. I put down my deposit with Ashley for great lengths extensions. She suggested that we color my hair first before having the hair installed.
It seemed like that month took forever for my hair to grow out but I'm glad that I did. Ashley dyed my hair then put in six bundles. Total cost was reasonable compared to the quotes I was getting at other salons. One draw back was traffic around the mall is crazy but since there is a parking lot it wasn't that bad. After the Holiday break in six months I plan on having them done here again. I'm totally addicted to having long locks now. Love this salon.

OMG!!! This is the best place to get your lashes and extensions done!!! My lashes came out so natural! Marlene did my hair extensions.... I got the Micro bead extensions that has me feeling like a MODEL! Not only is everyone there nice and professional, but the salon is sooo cute and the atmosphere is very inviting!

Hiya! Just wanted to talk about how much I loved getting the Great Lengths Extensions at Chicago Hair Extensions Salon! I've been to their Chicago location, so I decided to go to the north suburbs ASAP once I heard about that place opening up. I love, love, love the ombre fusion extensions that Jenny gave me. They feel so natural and nice on my hair. Super friendly people, really quality service. Love it!
