Private Beach is absolutely the best Tanning salon in the SGV. The owner and her staff provide the cleanest, most powerful tanning beds around and best prices can't be beat. They are so friendly and knowledgeable with all your tanning needs. I've been a customer for over 4 years and they treat their loyal customers excellent!

Hands down this is where you want to come if you want a fast affordable tan and warm friendly customer service, very clean, beds are sanitized after each use, variety of beds, pick the level thats right for you. They offer other services as well, body sculpting and infra-red saunas just to name two-this place is great!

So if your looking for an amazing EVEN spray tan this is the place to go! I have had a couple of my spray tans done here and every time i go karli, pauly, and Sergio are AMAZING! I have been going to Private Beach for over 20 years, I have never had a bad experience until now! I went in the middle of April and I hadn't been in since the new owners took over last August. So I introduced myself to the new owner and she seemed very nice. I paid $170.00 for a month of the bronzing bed. First two times I went in everything was fine then after that, every time I would go in the bed would shut off after 3 minutes sometimes 5 minutes.

Once it even stayed on for 9 minutes! Mind you the bed is supposed to stay on for 12 minutes unless you tell them you don't want it on for 12 minutes. I told them every time I wanted to go for the full 12 minutes. The first time when it turned off after 3 minutes I just thought oh well I am not getting dressed and go have them turn it back on then get undressed again so I just got dressed gathered my things and when I went out and told the girl that it shut off after 3 minutes she looked at me like a deer in the headlights and said "oh really" did I mention that I have been going there for more than 20 years!

I know how things work! They know exactly how long each one of those beds are on for! Every time I would tell them that it didn't stay on for the full 12 minutes! Not even close! And every time I got the deer in the headlight look and an, "oh really"! Sorry but if that's how you treat long time customers, then no thank you! There are other tanning salons around! I will definitely not be going back! Not as long as those people own it!

I'm really disappointed with the spray tan and the customer service at this place. I came in on Wednesday night to get a spray tan. I called to let them know I would be late as I had an appointment and the guy on the phone told me to knock and someone will open the door. I arrived at 7:40pm and the place closes at 8pm. As I'm walking up to the door I notice that the open sign was turned off showing customers they are closed before their posted business hours (not a good look).

I knocked on the door as instructed and the guy on the phone opened the door with no greetings. I walked in and asked "am I too late?" He responded "well you're already here" uh ok. He charged me prior to getting the tan done and took me to one of the rooms. Told me to get undressed and stand in the tent. I've gotten plenty of spray tans and they always have cream to put on your nails, palms, and feet but this place did not offer anything like that.

There was a towel on the floor of the tent and it looked dirty (I wonder when the last time they changed that out was). The guy came in, he didn't ask how dark I would like the tan to be, and started spraying me, but it was apparent he didn't care about the quality of the work as he was rushing it. Jumped out in front of the fan to dry and he came back several minutes later to do touch ups.

I told him my upper thigh was really lacking and he went on to touch up some areas and COMPLETELY MISSED the spot I told him. I had enough of this place so I jumped out dried up and put my clothes on. He asked if I needed another touch up and I told him no cause there really was no point. I left the place at 7:58pm. The spray tan came out so patchy all over my body and the bottom of my feet got so dark. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. WHAT A WASTE!

A nice place but a bit of a worry that the staff and customers I saw walking in an out not wearing a mask during pandemic. Puts into question the sanitization of the place in general.

Tauly was the sweetest and had such great customer service! She did my spray tan and did such a phenomenal job. I have had a few at other places and she is by far the best. I will not look anywhere else again. It was so even all over and absolutely flawless. Already scheduled another appointment and looking forward to it!

Unfortunately I was unable to redeem unused sessions. My husband bought me 5 sessions with the understanding that these do not expire per the sales person. To be fair, these were purchased in 2019. Then COVID came in 2020. I called today to inquire about returning to use the remaining sessions. The new owner told me they are expired- I explained to her that the previous sales person explained that the difference between buying a month vs. buying sessions is the fact that they didn't expire.

The new owner said "well you haven't been in since 2019 and they expired in 6 months". That response makes you feel like your looking for free service- these were paid for-not free! Funny thing is- if you were a good sales person who values customer service, you would have recognized a potential customer. I would think they would suggest a compromise to get me to return.

I had no problem buying more sessions, but instead hung up not appreciating her flat responses. I will be looking for another tanning salon. Thank you Private Beach Tanning for encouraging my move;

Came in the other day and this new employee didn't say hi. Plus when I left she was video chatting with her boyfriend and didn't say thank you or anything. Very rude and she looks like shes in high school too. Has her nose pierced. Learn customer service skills chick! Because no one is going to want to work with your rude ass!

Visited Private Beach Tanning for the first time today. Brittney helped me sign up for a monthly membership, she was super helpful and kind. The pricing is fair compared to other locations and the menu is easy to follow. I signed up for the highest level bronzing beds since my wedding is only 2 weeks away (oops). The bed and room were clean and comfortable. Definitely the nicest tanning location I have visited in the 626.

My wife Monica and I have been coming here since 2017. It is BY FAR the best tanning bed east of the 605 freeway in Los Angeles County. The owner Brittany and her staff are warm, friendly, knowledgeable and highly efficient. We pay for their unlimited tanning membership to utilize their No Burn UV ray stand up booth. We find all their beds and rooms to be clean, hygienic, neat and organized at all times.

There are also ample towels if you sweat or just want to dry off after a session. They also sell a wide variety of lotions and tanning products for both Women and Men. There is rarely a wait for the stand up High Intensity No Burn bed (and we come at different times based on our work life balance). If you are in the San Gabriel Valley and live East of the 605 Freeway and desire the amazing life extending power of UV rays(always tan relative to your skin tone & burn index), look no further as this place is the bomb! Major Thumbs Up!

Great service! I'm always helped right away when checking in and never have to wait. I love that they have the settings documented from the previous visits this way you know why level to do when you come in next. The beds are always clean and easy to use. Brittany is great, she gave good advice on how to achieve the glow I was looking for. Would definitely recommend this salon over others.

There is an employee her name is Bree she is a racist and rude. She ask me what my ethnicity and if I understand English. I will never go back to this place I took my business elsewhere

This is definitely the ONLY place you need to go to when it comes to tanning. Its impeccably clean, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Brittney and her staff are thee sweetest girls I have ever met. if you're unsure of how long, or which bed to get in they will definitely guide you! I LOVE their bronzing beds, and I usually go in for about 10 minutes. I always buy my lotions from Private Beach. I wouldn't think to go anywhere else for my skin tanning needs

I have been going to Private Beach tanning for about the last 15 years when I want to get a spray tan. The positives are that you could get in pretty last minute, they're open pretty late, it's cheap, it's fast and you're out the door, there's never a wait. They have friendly staff as well. However, nice as they might be, its hit or miss if you are going to get a good spray tan.

They hire college age girls, who seem to have minimal training, lighting isn't that great, sometimes they just do not know/ care what they're doing. Like getting a spray tan from your teen who would rather be doing anything else, lol. I went right before my trip to Punta Cana with my girlfriends, my spray tan was super splotchy, uneven, got teased about it which is totally fine, but just my point is, that is was bad enough that other people noticed.

Great place! Clean and usually not to busy, so I'm always able to get in and out quickly! And the beds are excellent! Lots of choices too!

This is a review for my spray tan, not tanning beds. 5 stars for service, 2 stars for the spray tan. I came here for a spray tan two days before my pole photoshoot. I think owner is the person who sprayed me. She was super nice! She was able to squeeze me for an appointment the same day I called. I bought a 3 spray tan package deal which comes out to about $35-40 (I don't remember exactly how much) for one spray tan.

I ended up asking for my money back for the two unused spray sessions because I my spray tan was somewhat uneven and I gradually turned orange (note: I'm Asian, maybe my undertones weren't a match for the spray solution?) The owner was very apologetic and gave me a refund. I waited to post a review because I wanted to see how my photos turned out.

I just got my photoshoot proofs back and the spray tan looked great in majority of the photos :) I DO recommend coming here to give the spray tan a shot because I highly doubt everyone turns orange. But I DON'T recommend coming here if you are taking pictures at closer range than my photoshoot photos because you will see the imperfections.

Love this place! Prices are way less than other tanning salons, and has better and hotter beds, the owner is a sweetheart and the place is always clean. I don't mind driving 20-25 min. every time to tan at Private Beach tanning.

Best experience ever brittney helped me and made me feel comfortable that's super hard considering I'm totally naked. She gave me all the information I needed before and after my spray tan I will definitely go back and recommend private beach to everyone specially first timers
