Color Nails

Not even a week later and my gel manicure is already coming off. I normally get gel x (at a different location) I wanted to try this place since it's across the street from me. So disappointed on my gel mani.

First time here. John did my pedi and gel manicure. He did an amazing job! Will definitely be back.

I stumbled upon color nails on Yelp when trying to find a nail salon open on Sunday and I'm so happy I made the decision to call and get an appointment. I called at 9 AM and they were able to get me in at 10 AM for a gel pedi and acrylics. Now when I walked in I was very hesitant it was a very small salon and only two people were working but we got started right away and they did a fantastic job.

I didn't catch the man's name but Lisa did my toes and acrylics and she did not disappoint. She was very to the point and did my nails so good. Anytime something wasn't perfect she would continue to fix it until it was just right even if that meant wiping the polish off my finger 3 times because there was a little piece of dust in it.

Now I did get a design on my fingers so they were a little pricier but my full set of acrylics were $45 and my toes were $30. Might have been more than I was expecting but overall it was worth it!

Haven't had a pedicure since the shut down! Boy was I over due! They are all so talented! I'm glad they survived this madness! Back to taking care of myself!

I've been going to Color Nails for over 10 years and I always leave happy. In March of 2021, I ended up moving to Texas, but I have been back to visit many times and I ALWAYS make an appointment to come here. I bite my nails and pick my cuticles and every time I leave CN with nails that look way better than when I came in. And I'm never happier with my eyebrows than when I have them done here. Mimi and the team are like a little family and I will come here any chance I can!

My friend recommended this place when i asked her " where do you go for your nails? they always look pretty and well done" she said "color nail go see my manicurist she is great" she also mentioned that all other manicurists in the shop and professionals and friendly as well, so i called & made a pedicure appointment sure enough my friend was absolutely right she did an excellent job and i promised her i will go back and have her do my hand nails too, professional, clean and comfortable place not crowded or noisy definitely will go back to her.

We wanted a last minute pedicure and when we called, they had an opening right away! We got there in 5 minutes and my daughter and I both had our spa pedicures. Massage chairs are a ++ too! I think we just found our new go to nail place!

Lashes with Mimi, trust. Come out gorgeous every time - balanced with your actual eye, not tacky. Just pretty, how they're supposed to be. She knows what she's doing!

Went here on my break from work I travel to different locations and I wanted a pedicure.this salon happened to be in the same shopping center, the service was great! My nail tech gave a very good foot massage and she painted my toes really good as well, on top of that what they charged me was super good, Very affordable nail salon and in my experience good quality service. If/ when im back in this area i will definitely return to this salon!

I really enjoyed my experience at this salon! my nails came out so amazing! Everyone, especially Mimi was so amazing and very patient with me. she was so sweet. I had a couple laughs with her and that made the experience so much better instead of awkward (which is usually how i feel getting my nails done).

Horrible service. I got acrylics and the nail tech did not let them dry properly so they smudged. Poor quality that once I got home I was able to take the paint off with nail polish remover which I didn't know was possible for acrylics?! I also asked for a specific design and the nail tech tried to convince me to change the design because she wouldn't admit she didn't know how to do it. Definitely not worth it

Jody was so nice and gentle. She's a great artist too! Did a beach theme design on my daughters nails and nice gel on mine. Very reasonable for her professionalism. The young lady before is had a really great design with gel as well. Jody is talented. Enjoyed the hand massage too! - Thanks Jody! We'll see you next time!

So thankful for finding this place. I needed my nails done ASAP, found them on google maps, called & went. I love my nails it was a quick process and he was able to fill in another shop's bad work & fix my broken nails seamlessly & shape them well. Not to mention they're open super early unlike most shops

I came here during covid very clean and it has glass shields for more security the lady's are friendly and they did my toe nails very nicely thankyou i will definitely come back

I hate to have to post a less than satisfactory review because this spot has been my go to for pedicures since last year. Their prices are on the fair side and as far as their pedicures, they are done well and im usually pleased with the results. This time, the male owner I believe attended me and took a chunk of my skin off. Me being in the service providing industry aswell am well aware of human error and that was not what made me unhappy because mistakes happen.

It was the way the situation was handled. First of all i let out an embarrassing shriek of pain that he completely pretended didnt happen/ i was being a dramatic spoiled client. He then proceeded to try to hide the wound and blood from me and pick around it more then apply pressure and put it in the water. He painted my nails and as i pressume the bleeding didnt stop, put pure alcohol on it which was miserable. Finally, he charged me full price and made sure to mention where i could write my tip on the receipt.

I didn't even bother disputing because sometimes with business owners like this, its just best not to open those can of worms. I paid in full and tipped him. I had to run errands after and my toe continued to bleed on my sandal and there was puss on the side of my nail where he tried to cut my ingrown. Im pretty sure it's infected and it would of just been nice to have been treated with more curtesy to accommodate the accident.

John is very nice parking is a little rough other than that it's a very nice establishment

Great place to take your kids to explore the wonders of the sea. It doesn't matter what age Young or older they will definitely enjoy this experience, the staff was friendly the place was clean and they even have beer for parents to help with the madness if you know what I mean

. 2/14 update avoid color me rude I returned for the fill, i noticed some weird vibes halfway through my fill & i heard the blonde lady next to me ask who left the bad review or something along those lines her loud self then goes she's here now? i look over and she's looking right at me as if she's never seen a person before. i shrug it off like eh, i don't care. i noticed afterward the workers there looking at me funny. when i was paying to leave mimi tells me as she hands me my card. that fixing one nail can take 15-20 minutes and she went there. i inform she has been nice but it's all about being nice aka rude linda. i was on the phone most the time and noticed all this once i was almost done thankfully.

How old are ALL OF you? an establishment who tells other clients i'm the one who left the review? PRETTY PATHETIC AND RUDE. LINDA was rude and their way of handle it this is acting like children. Def. not coming back to give them my business & mimi may do good work but this is not how you treat people. First and last time here. Here is why: Rude uncurtious people. They all look so miserable. Bad vibe. Don't expect to feel welcomed or get any responses to comments or questions. Customer Service -5 Cleanliness-5 Quality 1* not completely bad Price 1* $5 cheaper than the nail place I usually go to. Not worth the savings.

Horrible service The man who -manages/own/works- in the shop pretends to speak limited English, when convenient. I made an appointment with one specific person and another person said they could do my nails. I said no and asked for the person i had the appointment with.the employees started speaking to each other about n their language while I was standing there.finally I walked out.very rude!

Color Nails has been my go to nail salon for over 13 years and I know I can always trust John with the perfect pedicure and acrylic/gel manicure. I love coming in on Sundays because they're not as busy, and I can usually be out within an hour.

I'm surprised I never gave a review for this place! It's kind of a ritual I've started a few years back. My way of bribing myself to get an oil change is to treat myself to a manicure across the street. Everyone here is super nice! I've always walked in and had to wait no longer than 30 mins. It beats waiting at the auto shop. They easily have a 1000 colors to choose from.

It can be a bit overwhelming so come with a color in mind. Today I got white nails with a glitter ring finger. John put on three coats. Usually other nails places will give you crappy thin coats of nail polish. But here, they make sure that the nails are perfect! For the price, it's a steal! There really isn't any where else you can get nails done for this quality and price.

Horrible service. The people there are very rude and don't accept walk- ins which I don't understand. I don't recommend anyone going to this place.

Horrible service and personal experience! They aren't worth It girl. And the $5 dollar discount for being a "student" is a lie, then they ignore you when you notice/ advice them of an issue in the technicians work or attitude. Plus me and my friends nails broke off a WEEK later for a price of almost $50. What a joke. Never again.

I have been getting my nails done for 30 years and have been to countless nail shops all over the San Fernando Valley looking for the Perfect manicurist. My searching finally stopped when 2 years ago I found Mimi who is the owner of Color Nails. I have never had anybody so amazing so awesome and so talented as Mimi. I only wish I found her 30 years ago.

She is UNBELIEVABLE. My acrylic nails never lift or break-they totally stay-Mimi is a genius. Whatever special designs you want she can do it. I call her Doctor Surgeon MiMi because she is the nail doctor that everyone needs to have. Once uou have Mimi do your nails you will never go any place ever again.

I'm seeing a lot of negative comments and I honestly think they're from bogus 1 time customers that didn't get their way. Mimi and the rest of the staff always go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Yes most of the time you will need an appointment because they are always busy! I schedule my appointments 2 weeks before! You can't be a walk-in customer and expect to be helped right away.

As for their cleanliness, I have been coming here for over 3 years and I see them practice clean sanitation of their tools. I find it very hard to believe that someone would get fungus from them because they use brand new sterile packs of tools on every single one of their customers and right after they throw them away. I still highly recommend this place. I have never left unsatisfied and the prices are great!

Great nail salon! I had a wedding on Saturday and i was desperate come Thursday. No place would fit me in for a gel french tip at the last minute, all day Friday was devoted to the rehearsal and Saturday I was in the bridal party which is an all day thing. I called them at 7 pm on Thursday they answered and after trying to fit me in next day(. which didn't work timing wise) Mimi told me to come right Down and she'd do it for me now! 45 minutes later and beautiful perfect nails.

So nice, clean, professional and a beautiful salon to boot. And the prices for a gel manicure is not bad either! Thank you Mimi for your help and thanks for hooking me up at the last minute truly appreciated.

I love how this place is right next door to my house. Awesome customer service. Mimi, Linda, Lisa, and John are my favorite (really great at what they do).I keep coming back :)
