I can't recommend Alisha enough. I felt extremely comfortable with her during my hair cut and did not feel judged for my grown out color and split ends. In fact, she complimented me and made some suggestions we can do if I were unhappy with my old balayage. She talked to me through every step of the hair cut to make sure I was happy with everything.
We talked about future appointments and how I can keep my hair looking good until then since I usually only go to a salon once a year. I booked with Alisha on my way out (3 months out so I can go from one haircut a year to four) and purchased one of her recommendations as well. Thank you again Alisha!

After having a horrible haircut at another salon Bethany was recommended to me. I'm so glad to have found her. I sat in her chair and asked her to fix it and she did. She explained what she was doing as she went and asked if that was what I was what I was looking for. I highly recommend Bethany and I am so thankful to have found a stylist in Southern MD.

Saturday, after having 6 days of horrible back pains at night, and most mornings, I decided to call and see if I could find an opening for a massage. Fortunately, Marissa had an opening for early afternoon. I didn't really care what the price was I was willing to try anything. When I arrived I told her all the issues that I had been having and she really listened and focused on the area that was bothering me.
She did some cupping, and I am sure some deep tissue work only where I had my pain. When it came time to check out I was so grateful that she charged for a Swedish Massage she didn't charge for the cupping since she only did it in the one area. I felt like she really listened to me and genuinely just wanted to help me, she didn't just see dollar signs! After following her advice, it's now a couple of days later and I am almost completely better, so THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I had my hair permed my very first perm in my life and unfortunately it did not take but the owner and staff were extremely helpful in giving me a full refund and offering to redo my hair with no extra charge. Unfortunately my hair did not cooperate but they owner and managers were very helpful in making me happy. I would have my hair done again at this salon anytime. I want to say thank you for the kindness and customer service.

Most recent update: WOW! Talk about making up for it. They threw in a discount and a complimentary service (keeping private so no one try's to take advantage). I met Dee (not sure how to spell it) today and she was AMAZING! The front desk person was really nice and the woman who rinsed my hair was super sweet. I know my update isn't as lengthy as my first paragraph, which I am going to keep up, but just know that they TRULY made up for their faults and went above and beyond to correct themselves.
I will come back for my next perm. Update: The owner called and informed me there is an appt for tomorrow afternoon and threw in a complimentary service. I'll update the review after my appointment and I'm going to try and go in with a fresh and open mind. My husband got me a gift certificate after reading all the reviews and determining that they were amazing for the area.
I emailed about an appointment and was given a date two weeks away, okay, they're popular, that was a good sign to me. Well they called a couple hours before my appointment on Tuesday that had been scheduled for two weeks to tell me they didn't have the product for my perm. They rescheduled me for Thursday, two days later, frustrating but fine. Then they call me Thursday an hour before my appointment and tell me that the person before me is going to use up my scheduled time and that I have to be again rescheduled for next Wednesday at 10am.
We had plans for this weekend and I haven't had a perm since before my son was born, he's 9 months, my curls are gone and I'd like to have my hair done before our plans. All this to say I have to go with the reschedule because my husband got a gift certificate but I doubt I'll use them in the future.

I normally never complain, but I was excited about trying this place because of all the services offered. My appt was at 12:15. At 1:00 I asked how much longer. Was told not long. Sat down and saw the women that was going to cut my hair was not going to be finished any time soon. No one said we're running late. Ir give me another stylist. Lost this customer.

I love Bella salon and spa those girls know what they are doing! They go above and beyond, Beverly did my hair she was incredible! I highly recommend this place it was my first time and I will definitely be coming back! I'm excited words can not express how amazing these women are you just have to go and see for yourself. I'm used to going to a particular place for a FULL bikini wax but the nearest location is an hour away.anyway I get to my appointment after explaining via telephone the day prior that I wanted a full wax. Needless to say, I got waxed but there's still pieces of wax residue sticking to my skin! I've never had that experience in the past that's very unprofessional to wax and still have traces of wax left behind! Overall it was ok but I'll have to suck it up and travel to my usual place

I went to Bella Salon and asked for "natural highlights, just a little color for summer." It did not turn out well, see pictures. I did return and the stylist did make improvements. It is now acceptable but I still feel like it's a fix job and I still have 1"-2" roots that completely and suddenly contrast from the rest of the strand of hair. The stylist said that she left roots because it was a balayage highlight - this not balayage!
Then she said that she did a combo of balayage and highlights and that the section I show in the picture is a highlight - but then the highlight needs to go much closer to the scalp. I realize that everyone has a oops job once in awhile, but when I returned I didn't get a "oops, let me fix that." I got more of a patronizing, "we can fix that if you are that picky." It was all very friendly, but a patronizing, fix up job is just not worth $100+ price tag!

I am going to preface this by saying the hair stylists here have been great. This review is for the front staff and the overall attitude in the salon. The front staff needs a lesson in manners and customer service. They really cannot be bothered. You have to ask several times for info on other services, and then you really don't get what you need regardless.
I finally decided to take a chance on another salon because of this, and I am glad I did. They were welcoming and friendly, and asked what I wanted to accomplish, and got me just that. When I just now cancelled my existing appointment at Bella, I had to ask the girl answering the phone if I had the right number (I couldn't understand a word she said).
When I said I was cancelling, she uttered a terse, "who with?". I told her, and her next response was, "you've been taken out of the system". No "would you like to reschedule?", no utterance of civility other than those words. If I were a stylist, this would make me angry, because this loses business. In addition, the owner needs to realize that she can have the best stylists in the world, but if you have zero customer service on the phone and at the front desk, it just doesn't matter. Bella, you just lost a long time customer to a competitor.

I had to write a review because of the poor job that was done here. I had an updo for a wedding as I was trying to save some time since this place was near my hotel and knew a bunch of girls were doing their hair during wedding prep. My hair was un-even, messy and the girl could not curl my hair to save her life and she just said sorry after I kept telling her what was wrong.
It looked like it was done by a 12 year old and I was trying to be nice and just left otherwise I would of been very loud and shouldn't of paid at all. I would not recommend this place by the girl who did my hair. I've never experienced such poor service before.

I have been seeing Christi for my hair and Carmen for my eyebrows and facials for YEARS and Love them! Christi is amazing, the color and cut comes out exactly as planned every time, and I change color a lot! Also, I have a short bob, which can be hard to nail. Carmen always takes good care of all my waxing needs and has amazing facials that do wonders for my skin.
I shopped around a lot when I first moved to the area and was so happy to find Bella. The girls are fun and the atmosphere is comfortable. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone.

I love my hair stylist, so I'm not sharing her name. I have been getting my hair colored for I don't know how many years and she's been the ONLY person who has gotten it to the color I've wanted. This place is clean and the prices aren't too bad. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, versus 5, is because it takes a really long time (I don't have long hair), the price is a little high but mainly because twice we've I've been there there have been children there. Not getting their hair cut but waiting on a parent and they have their crap every where. Not very professional or relaxing.

Really happy with my brow waxing. She listened to me and did just what I wanted. Knew what questions to ask as well. Some other places they just start ripping away hair and make the brows they think you should have. Not here. Well done. The atmosphere of the salon was nice too. My only complaint is they don't do pedicures.
