New Moon Spa & Salon

My mother and I decided to treat ourselves while on vacation in Eureka Springs. The New Moon Spa and Salon was excellent! We received facials, massages, and pedicures. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. This was a very relaxing experience. We were 100% happy with all the the services. The prices were reasonable. The staff went out of their way to make your comfortable and answer any questions you had. We would go back to this spa anytime!

This is an excellent spa. The staff are wonderful. The only drawback is that a majority of their areas are not wheelchair accessible.

My husband set up for me to receive a massage as part of our weekend getaway. The staff were all friendly and the massage therapist made the experience very comfortable and relaxing. Should we make our way this way again will definitely set up another massage and explore the other spa amenities.

You don't have to wear masks in the hotel but you had to wear masks in the salon unless getting your makeup done then you're expected to put a mask back on to pay!?!?!? Luckily I asked about this before starting my makeup appointment and was able to pay in-between my hair and makeup appointments and then made a mad dash for the door when finished so I didn't put my mask on after my makeup was done.

The staff was polite, but the spa did not meet expectations. There were three of us in our group and we all got massages from different therapists. All of us were underwhelmed by the quality of the massages. One of the massage therapists pushed down on the throat of my friend, which none of us have ever experienced in a massage before so that was odd.

The restroom was very messy and needed attention. Used wash cloths were lying in the shower, piles of dirty towels were strewn about, and there was no toilet paper. The hot tub was not hot. We had to walk through the lobby and stand there in our robes to get to the hot tub, which was uncomfortable with other customers who were fully clothed milling about in the lobby area. Not usually one to complain, but this was not the quality spa experience we hoped for.

Review update: Despite a less than stellar start to the process they came through and were fantastic. Not only did they personally follow up on my initial review by phone and work to provide a resolution, they did an amazing job when I went in for actual services. The experience from check-in to checkout was phenomenal. I would actually recommend them to anyone. ****** I booked a pedicure.

The guy helping me was not knowledge at all. He made me feel like an inconvenience the entire time and was not even able to get the infrared service booked for me. He answered questions in the least logical way and then got annoyed when I was asking lots of questions that he deemed unnecessary. That I wouldn't have needed to ask if he would've explained things better.

Eventually he got exasperated and hung up on me. When I tried to call back and cancel my appointment because I don't want to do business with a place that hangs up on me but who ever answers the phone kept picking it up and putting it on hold to ring back. It's not living up to the standard of service that everyone told me about the Crescent. Thank goodness I didn't shell out for a hotel room too.

Wow! What a wonderful experience we had today. Probably one of the best massages my husband and I have had in years. Loved the aromatherapy and pressure point massage. Sierra and Tina were AMAZING! We would come back and specifically ask for them. Great service and really listened to certain Target areas. Our first experience in Arkansas coming from California and very much impressed!

First, I would like to start out by saying that the staff was very kind and easy to talk to. My review is about the quality of service for the price I paid. I paid $95 for a mani/pedi while on vacation with my friend, $45 of that was for the manicure which was $5 more than the normal cost since I wanted gel as opposed to normal polish. Becca was very kind but she did not do well on my nails, granted she had only been there about 4 months.

I left there with a manicure that I could have, and should have, done from home. I give myself gel manicures often and I have done much better on myself for free. The edges are messy, there are specs of dirt IN the polish, and you can't tell from the photo, but there was so much polish used that it looks like a bubble of paint plopped on my nails. On top of the mediocre job she did, my $45 nails all fell off two days later. Yikes

Shea did so good on my facial. Hands down one of the best facials I have ever gotten. I had extractions done too and they didn't even hurt! She also massaged my face well and the products smelled so good. Not to mention the relaxing smell of the warm towels she puts on your face! After my facial, my cheeks were rosy and my skin was glowing. It was a very relaxing experience and I will definitely do it again!

What a wonderful experience! New Moon's atmosphere is relaxing and soothing (as any good spa is), but beyond the beautiful environment, the friendliness, professionalism, attentiveness, and exceptional skill of the staff make this place top notch. Thanks to Beth (deluxe pedicure) and Sarah E. (haircut), I have officially emerged from my covid cocoon and feel like a new woman! Beth worked wonders on my feet and legs (I'm now a devoted fan of Eco-fin), and the entire experience with her was just BLISS!

I also love the view from the pedicure station, and I very much appreciate the adjustable massage chairs (sometimes short folks like m'self have to streeeetch to be worked on but not at New Moon). Sarah really listened to what I wanted in my hair cut and style, and I am absolutely delighted with the results. Hair cuts can be anxiety invoking but not with Sarah-- being in her chair was FUN!

As of yesterday, New Moon is my spa of choice, and I'm looking forward to regular visits as I sample their fantastic menu of services! Thanks, Beth, Sarah, and New Moon! I will see you again soon!

We all enjoyed our massages, although with at least one, the timing couldn't been controlled a little because the last part was rushed a lot. We all enjoyed how the hot tub and sauna can be booked for use with just you or your family for a more relaxing experience. The relaxation area is in a somewhat busy area, so not as much of a relaxation area as we were hoping for, but I think they did the best they could with the area they had to work with.

There are bathrooms, a small amount They do bring you water and tea upon request. Very friendly, professional, and courteous employees! We would definitely come back when we'rein the area again!

We had a superb couples massage here on our last trip up to our cabin in Eureka Springs. The infrared sauna was particularly pleasant, and the sauna area was spotless. (I'm a real stickler for cleanliness in a spa.) Top rate customer service -- extremely friendly. Reasonable rates, too -- loved that part. Will return!

I set appointment for Tuesday September 10. The person that I spoke to was so very sweet. I am looking forward to meeting. Will write a review after appointment.

I have been wanting to get this cut for a long time. I'm so happy how well it turned out. The stylist did such a great job! You get a nice scalp massage with hair wash. Their products smell so good and were great on my hair. Stylist was so sweet and personable. Very happy with my experience

I was greeted with a friendly smile and a cup of flavorful tea. My massage therapist was Ang, and she was nothing short of fantastic. I needed like another hour with her. I appreciated that they were able to accommodate me a couple hours after I called to make an appointment. I really didn't expect them to have any openings. The venue is nothing fancy.

There were no robes or slippers or anything like that, but the treatment room was clean and quiet. The only thing I regret is not getting in the hot tub after my treatment, but it was a little cold and rainy outside, and not the ideal weather for it. This review is very close to a 5, and the only reason it isn't, is because the setting was much simpler and didn't have as many amenities as some other spas of the same caliber and cost. But I have zero complaints whatsoever. Cheers to Ang for her amazing work!

From the moment we walked in we were treated like old friends. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable about all the services. Our massage therapists were. OFF THE CHAIN! For me I like deep tissue and there has only been one other time that the deep tissue didn't feel so much like a beat down. After our massages we were given the freedom to partake of other services ie hot tub, pool and sauna. Again if you are ever here in Eureka Springs stop by the New Moon Spa.tell them Ned sent ya!

Fantastic service with great cosmetologists. The atmosphere is super friendly, as are the staff members. They're all skilled at what they do, and I couldn't be happier with service.

My experience here was amazing. I loved the fact that it was Aveda based. The spa offers a lot of products to buy as well as a good array of services. I chose the foot and scalp massage. Holy cow, it was worth every penny and more. The lady that gave me the massage was named Stormy. Please request her. Her reflexology massage is on par with how it should be done.

I was exceptionally impressed. Fun fact bout the spa, it used to be a morgue back in the day. Don't be scared. You'll be so relaxed that you won't care if there are ghosts around you or not.

My wife and I had a gift certificate for a free couples massage and went for a late Valentines getaway. Everyone we encountered at the spa was very friendly and informative. I have some back issues and was hesitant about the massage. My therapist was Ruth and she was amazing! It was an awesome morning as my wife enjoyed it a lot too. We'll definitely do this again and I'll be asking for Ruth. Great experience and highly recommended!

We didn't use the spa (thank goodness after the way we were treated out front!) My review is the out front area where they sell makeup & body products. We weren't greeted at all when we walked in the store & looked around. When we finally asked for help the girl rudely corrected me on what I was asking for. Both terms were correct. Then they yelled at me twice for looking at certain products. I walked out after that. OMGoodness, I have worked in retail for most of my life and could never imagine being that way to customers!

While the service staff was kind and services were pretty good, I would not recommend this spa. Each time we visited (which was three days in a row), the administrative staff was receiving a complaint. The answer to everything that we asked was "no." You definitely got the impression that they were not willing to work to accommodate their customers in any way.

They lost my sisters reservation and issued a non-genuine apology without any further attempt to rectify the issue. It is clear that they have a monopoly in the area-they do not care to go "above and beyond" in any way. Good Aveda products for some services, but standard products in the bathrooms. However, you could not even use the shower unless you pre-booked the shower.

The sauna was made for two people and it's tight at that. I asked to sit in one of the rooms that was open, but the staff told me they were using it to set up for a garage sale, so I couldn't use it. It left a lot to be desired. Spend your time exploring the hotel instead.

I'm a stickler for being on time, well it was 31st birthday and my boyfriend booked us a deep tissue couple massage.they were running a bit late. Not sure if they were suppose to offer us robes or flip flops. Overall everything was ok, I would look into traveling to another spa my next visit but I wouldn't say not to go here either. I suggest you try it out for yourself maybe on a weekday when it's less busy?

Had couples massage with the wife and purchased a robe. Robe was extremely over priced. Relaxation room was very small with limited seating. Massage was great and very relaxing, but the clerk did not give us robes or flip flops so they had to run out to get them for us. If this was the only place in town, then I would go back, but with so many options, I don't we give this place a second shot.

I need to start by saying I don't frequent these establishments, i.e. nail salons. But since my wife and I share a bank account, I need to comment. It's Aveda so it runs a little more expensive than other shops. No problem there if it the quality is better or even on par with your average nail place, but her nails as well as the other 4 women's nails, all chipped and "bubbled" within hours of the application. The bride-to-be was fortunate to have time to have hers redone. If you are looking for a good spend of your cash, consider somewhere else.
