Well let me start off by. I don't comprehend why this Hair salon has a high satisfactory rating? Due to my visit I would have to say I was very disappointed. My hair was done with stylist Shawneen Miranda In mind I had a particular cutt, and style, and she did not satisfy my hair needs. In fact she completely chopped off more of my hair than I had desired.

I would of never have thought, do to the outstanding reviews on this, that this would have happened. During my visit the proficiency on the professionalism was very disappointing as well. As I sat in the chair all she did was gossip about other clients, I thought how unprofessional and unmannered this woman is. If you go here keep in mind what you are dealing with, a stylist that does not have your best interest at heart.

Had a really good experience! I must say they were able to accommodate an appointment on a very short notice & their service during COVID is worth mentioning too. Was very impressed with my hair stylist Shana!

Best hair cut ever! Kenneth is excellent. Yesterday was my first time going to this salon. With Covid19, a hair cut was long due for me but I wasn't very comfortable with the idea of so much exposure. I felt very comfortable there though, they checked my temperature at the door, gave me alcohol gel, bagged my belongings in a plastic bag and keep everything very clean, I noticed that they were sterilizing the stations from time to time. Needless to say, we all had our masks on. I definitely recommend this salon.

Cristine made cut my hair very, very short. This is not my usual style. My hair must be 3"-4" longer. This is very disappointing for me. She asked me "if I like my haircut?" I did not know what I have to say. I said Yes but really No. I called the hair salon and they help me to decide my problem. It was my first visit to the salon because my hairdresser got COVID 19. For me was very difficult to explain all technic how to need cut my haircut. In my case, this information was needed.

Natalie is an amazing colorist. Very welcoming as this was my first time at the salon. She took time applying the two processes to my hair, it was obvious she is a perfectionist. Kenny did my cut, and took time to discuss what he thought would work for my hair type as well as asking me what I liked/didn't like about my hair currently. Again, you can tell he is meticulous when cutting.

He definitely put me at ease with his confidence in what works. What was also wonderful was he explained what i could do to resolve a "flipping" problem with my bangs. )it worked!). I would definitely recommend K/W Salon in Newton. Patti Forte Belmont, Ma

I had my first haircut with Kristin today, who was phenomenal. She gave me a very flattering cut and introduced me to products and styling tools to enhance my new look. She nailed it. I have been going into the South End for years for my haircuts, but those days are over. Newbury Street and the South End combined are right in Newton Center. Couldn't be happier with this professional high-end Salon.

Hands down the best salon I've ever been to! I have been dying my hair for 7 years and it was severely damaged after I bleached it last year. Kenny suggested that I try the new Resistance Extentioniste treatment from the high end brand Kerastase and I saw a difference right away! Even after a couple washes, my hair still feels fluffier and lighter.

My hair is no longer stiff and I can barely notice any dry texture. I definitely recommend this treatment (and salon) to anyone who has damaged hair but wants longer, stronger hair! I left the salon with not only healthier hair, but also an amazing blow out! I will definitely be coming back!

I have been Kristin's customer for at least 10 years now. No one in this industry compares to her level of professionalism, and skillfulness. I receive lots of compliments on my hearcuts, and always feel that Kristin does a perfect job. She understands what style will help enhance your looks and how to make a desired hair style work for you. She is simply amazing.

I have had the most amazing haircut with Kristin and Brazilian Blowout with Shaneen! My daughter loves her color with Diane and I recommend this salon to anyone that is looking for expert level services. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and professional and the salon is clean and beautiful!
