Was told I wasn't allowed to come back for having a conversation with another customer about not getting color (she brought it up) and I reiterated that the salon manager said they were getting a lawyer and relocating so I thought that was why they're not changing bulbs since I was told by manager that they were doing bad. I spent 80 a month here to be told I couldn't come back for having an opinion of the service I was given. Beds are broken, shut down etc.

I didnt make up these things. they were told to me by a manger and I was called and scolded lol like a child. Save your money because these salons know there the only one in this area and they do not give you what you pay for.

The all new Island Sun Tanning Somers Point is AMAZING! They doubled the size and all rooms are HUGE.They moved to the corner with beautiful wood floors, brick walls and barn doors. All new tanning beds and booths along with the Versa Spa UV FREE booth and personal spray tanning techs. The new Full Service hair and nail salon next door is also really nice. New bulbs and very friendly employees.

Friendly and courteous staff! The beds are always hot and have new bulbs, and the spray tan and airbrush give you such great color! No orange color like other salons in the area give you.

Best salon around! Workers are always very friendly and accommodating- at other salons I walk in not really knowing what I'm getting myself into, but the girls here make sure you know the difference in beds and what would be the best for you! I always come out loving my tan, definitely a must do HIGHLY RECOMMEND :

I can not say enough good quailites about this business. The new owner is hands on at her salon every single day, she helped me choose the right tanning bed and package for me in specific. The girls are properly trained just like their boss, from customer service to keeping the salon extremely clean. In between setting customers in their tanning beds, they are constantly keeping up with the salon in every possible way.

I recently got an airbrush and this was the first time I came out NOT orange like other salon experiences. (not to mention, I received my airbrush for $10 off since I am a student!) P.S. The saying "you pay for what you get" is so accurate I have realized ever since I switched my tanning over to Island Sun in Galloway. I used to tan at the gym I worked at but being an employee there, I knew the bulbs were never properly functioning (never hot or new) considering their main focus was the gym equipment of course, not a tanning bed! So, thank you Island Sun for my first proper tanning experience!

I went to today for my 12:30 spray tan appointment. i was very disappointed by my overall experience especially the tan. The young lady at the front desk was pleasant enough but was rushed. She did not take her time but rather rushed through the process because she was also working the front desk. in a matter of minutes asked is i was tan enough so i asked if she could hit my legs ( which i asked for more attention up front), she did a quick dry and said i could do more myself. The tan is sub par and was not worth the 45.00 + tip. Never again!

So overly happy with everything at this salon! I used to only use the UV beds but one of the girls working told me all about their versa machine and how it worked and I couldn't be happier with how it came out! It was so easy and quick process, I definitely recommend trying it!

BEST TANNING SALON. I just moved out of South Jersey and finding a tanning salon has been such a problem. The Mays Landing location was always so clean, big and bright. I've tanned at some of the other locations too. You can tan at any of them. The High Pressure beds are amazing, because you don't burn. I can't even find High Pressure beds in where I live now without paying at least $50 a session.

The manager, Jenn, was so nice and knew so much about tanning. She answered all of my questions above and beyond. She helped me find a good lotion and I got a free visit with the bottle. The other girls Carly and Lindsay were also very nice. Also, I loved their parrot! He talked and was so cool! Kept my kids entertained while I tanned. ISLAND SUN GO UP NORTH!

Been going here for 8 years and I absolutely LOVE it! Clean, quick, great staff, no upgrade fees! Sometimes there is a bit of a wait if you want a specific bed, but besides that, my favorite place to tan in South Jersey.
