I have been a client for many years. It's very welcoming business. They are accommodating to my needs for appointments. Plus, i never stopped going to regular appointments during Covid because I felt safe.

I took my son to Sara at Narcissus, who was highly recommended by one of his friends. He has had a long history of bad haircuts. And now he has the floppy look. Which has been really hard for stylists to nail. Sara knew exactly what he was talking about and did an amazing job. And compared to paying $35 at my regular salon, his haircut was $12. We won't go anywhere else ever again!

Sara is my go to stylist. Only stylist who has ever been able to get my bangs exactly the way I want them. The salon is very clean, neat and the staff is friendly.

I arrived early for my appointment because I respect people's time. I didn't mind waiting a reasonable amount of time since I was early. Well 25 mins after my appointment time without being called back to walk in (you wait in your car, not a waiting room, due to covid), I left. Which is a shame because I was really looking forward to it, but my time is valuable too.

People make room in their work schedules for this stuff. You should respect that. If you want a place that actually honors your appointment time--or heck, just brings you in after waiting half an hour to shampoo you and buy time before the stylist is ready--look elsewhere, this isn't it.

My first time stepping into a hair salon in years and I must admit, I was blown away! The staff is most friendly and professional. The products galore.and not to mention one very special hair stylist, Sam Tabler.thank you for making me feel alive again! I love my new hair style.

Sara is awesome! She goes above and beyond to accommodate and make sure you are happy with your cut. I was originally unsure about coming to a salon instead of a barber, but she was a great find. She's the best!

Very cozy atmosphere where the whole staff is so nice. Danielle is great for cut and color! I stay with her even when I move around the area. But you should pick someone else because I still want to be able to book my appointments! Lol!

I got a haircut yesterday from Sarah. I brought a picture of what I wanted and a description of issues I typically have with my hair. Sarah asked some great questions to make sure she understood what I was looking for, and also explained to me what she was doing every step of the way. I am very happy with the results.

I've been going to Shannon for years - she's amazing, as well as the rest of the staff. I ran into an issue a few years ago at this salon, beyond their control, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved. They really cared about keeping me as a satisfied customer! Great place, great people, and my hair always looks like a million bucks!

I really wanted to like this place. My first cut with Joanne was great. After that, it went downhill. A slight trim ended up having inches cut off my hair and lots of layers. Every time I went in I would say I'm growing out my hair and growing it long. Six months later and my hair is shorter than it was six months ago. Half way through the cut I would hear she needs to cut an inch off and it would look so much better or it would even it out.

When you hear that in the middle of a cut you think your hair is very uneven and looks horrible so you agree. This last cut was the last straw. Another inch was taken off. I don't understand why she doesn't undrstand I'm growing it LONG! To me that would imply don't ask to cut the length. So six months later I'm still struggling with short hair, growing out the layers and no style. Definitely not worth the price of the cut.

I made my first visit to Narcissus this winter after I walked out on my previous stylist who kept me waiting for an hour. The difference between my old salon and this one is night and day -- the staff at Narcissus is not only on time, but also more professional and friendly. I've had the works done there (haircut, eyebrows, manicure, pedicure) and have been thrilled with the results. The salon itself is attractive, though the existing street construction on Bloomsbury can sometimes make it challenging to get to your appointment. Highly recommended!
