Excellent upper scale hair salon with Royal Fit services to match for a Queen. Visiting from Miami and wonderful Eufora color. I will return on my next visit to Minneapolis

The stylist did a good job and was friendly. I was there 5 hours though, which seemed excessively long. Both the stylist and the owner (more so the owner, Kim), were extremely pushy on extra services.like, do you want your brows colored? I have the color left over and it only takes a second ($15), and how 'bout you let me wax them just a little bit to see what you think ($10).

Let me try this makeup on you and here is all the items I'd recommend.only about $350 for a few items. Very overpriced.manicure $50, pedicure $70. Ouch. The owner suggested a 20% tip for the stylist which would have been another $100. Buyer beware.

I have been going to this salon for over two years, and they have always done an amazing job for me (Caitlin gives an amazing scalp massage). The entire staff is incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond for you. I got married in December and had the salon do all of the wedding hairstyles, and they did an amazing job.

They opened an hour early to accommodate our needs, and Inna even came in on her day off to help. I can't rave enough about all of the women who work here, they are great! I would recommend them to anyone.

Stylist Julia did an absolutely amazing job! I tried my first balayage experience with her & it turned out gorgeous! I got so many compliments! I've been getting my hair highlighted/colored for the past 16 years & she is by far the best. Love the fact that no harsh products were used such as bleach for my caramel highlights. I have naturally dark hair. She is now my favorite hairstylist & I highly recommend her. Thank you Julia!

I was really excited to come here and everyone was very friendly and welcoming, but the experience was terrible. The stylist truly didn't listen to what I wanted. I asked for a long pixie and left with a bob. To make matters worse, she SHAVED my hairline with a razor stating that it was too long and the hair was thick, even though I said I wasn't comfortable with it.

The shave is uneven and it's goes up about 2inches. I stated that I wanted bangs, she said no and gave me a slight layer in the front. Essentially this stylist spent 1 1/2 hours giving me the haircut that she has. To top off the night, the products (EUFORA) caused several rashes on my scalp. The whole experience left me unhappy and awake late into the night with a lovely burning sensation. NEVER AGAIN.

I have been going to East of Eden for a couple of years and love the people and the service they provide. I always know I will be happy and feel good about myself after leaving the salon. It starts at the top with Kim and Carl and you can tell they care about the employees as well as the customer. If you need anything special, they will go out of their way to pick it up for you or recommend special products for your individual needs. I would recommend them to anyone!

My experience today with Julia Chhun as my stylist was superb! She was happy to cut my hair just as I asked (at other salons I have sometimes felt pressured into a more complex cut than I wanted), and she spent a considerable amount of time conditioning and restoring the health of my hair. I really appreciated her patient and thoughtful styling. Also, the atmosphere of the salon is very warm and welcoming. I felt so relaxed and pampered there today! Many thanks to the great team at East of Eden Salon!

Thanksgiving can't come soon enough! My daughter needs a haircut by Kim ASAP. Kim always takes her time and does a wonderful job. I feel like most stylists at other salons don't take their time with kids, but Kim certainly does. I'm excited for my haircut too. I always feel like a million bucks when I get done at EoE. Sometimes Ina cuts my hair and sometime Kim does. No matter who does it, it looks great!

I just got my hair cut and styled for the first time at East of Eden Salon, and I LOVE it! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a cup of fresh brewed coffee, they hung my my coat for me, and every body in the salon welcomed me by name. Patrick was my stylist and he was very knowledgable and walked me through the whole vision he had for my cut.

My hair feels great and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they even do organic hair color! What an awesome salon, I will definitely be going back and referring my friends, family and coworkers. Plus, each hair cut comes with a neck, shoulder and scalp massage. The price was worth it for those treats alone! :-

BONUS to get your hair cut by Kim! She always remembers who I am! I am notorious for not making appointments and they somehow always find a way to squeeze me in! When I first visited East of Eden I had been on a road trip for the past 2 weeks and decided to pamper myself at the salon on the recommendation of my husband's cousin. The receptionist and stylists greeted me warmly, and instantly put me at ease. Inna practically had me drooling with the neck and head massage she gave me while washing my hair, and she did a fantastic job of styling my new 'do.

The best part of my visit though, was the great instruction she gave me as she blew dry and flat ironed my hair. She showed me which products she had used on my hair and how to apply them. I loved the intimate, high-end salon feel, even though this salon is in a very nice strip mall. Kim, the owner, is just as sweet as she is petite and she also contributed to making me feel like I was a cherished VIP at East of Eden. A wonderful pampering experience that I hope to repeat again soon!

Outstanding in every way! I have very curly hair and have never found anyone that knows how to cut curly hair until I found East of Eden. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment at the last minute with one of the salon's master stylists and she did a fantastic job unlike I've never had before. She has extensive knowledge, an awesome attitude, is extremely professional, and did an exceptional job.

I've found a salon for life! The picture I took that day is now my cover picture on facebook and I have received so many comments including some asking if I am going to be a model!

Hi, just yesterday I went to the East of Eden salon and I had such a wonderful experience. I haven't been very satisfied with past haircuts at salons in the area (and I am one who is very particular when it comes to a haircut). I am thankful that I have found a salon that I want to go back to again. Kim, who attended to me, was very knowledgeable and professional - she consulted and suggested what hairstyle may be a good fit for me. Kim did a very good job on my hair. Without a doubt I recommend this place!

Inna did a fantastic job on my hair. I went from a brown to a very light blonde with some low lights. I'm so excited, it's not fried, and looks great. She really knew what she was doing and had some great ideas and recommendations. As for the shop, they have excellent customer service, everyone is very friendly, and they are very hospitable (asking if they can get you anything to drink, etc.). I don't think I will go anywhere else. Definitely recommend going here.

Kim knows her stuff. Ever wonder why you can't have "that" hair style? Kim is very knowledgeable and explains what will and will not work with your hair type, texture, waves, etc. Then she knows how to cut it, color it or curl it so it works and looks great.
