Salon Wow

I made an appointment on Saturday, came in on time. Stood around, looked at the products for 10 min no body even said hello. I went to have a sit and waited for another 10 min. Young gentlemen came in and asked if I was helped, he apologised for the wait and went to tell my stylist Lyndsey of my arrival. 30 minutes later another stylist came in and asked if I was helped.

I have notified her I was there waiting for over 45 min already, after apologising she told me she would let my stylist know I am waiting. I have waited for another 5 min and walked. I do not recommend this place simply for lack of costumer service!

My sister went to Salon Wow on the west side of Evansville after speaking with her stylist, Ariona, over the course of a few weeks. She wanted a drastic color change, from dark brown to blue. She referenced several pictures and was willing to pay extra, as this wasn't a simple color. The color turned out awful, a jade green color, and several inches of roots were still dark as though there was no blending done at all.

This could've been handled appropriately, but the stylist insisted that the color turned out exactly like it should. She even had the other stylists in the establishment agreeing, as if they were trying to talk her into believing the color was blue, not green. Upon questioning, she found out that the person in charge of the business was apart of the group of stylists that were working and telling her it was beautiful and blue.

My original posts/review was deleted from their business FB page, and then they flooded the reviews with family/friends fake reviews within 22 hours of deleting my review. So, I am posting again on Google, BBB, and Yelp to inform any future clients that may be looking at a drastic color change. I'd hoped that by bringing this to their attention, they'd reach out to my sister to finally rectify this awful situation. Instead, they have diverted from taking responsibility and I have received very nasty messages on social media and under my comments regarding this experience that I've posted on my sisters behalf.

I hope that this is a learning experience for the stylist, though at my sister's expense. and I hope that any future clients do not have to endure weeks of embarrassment and frustration while waiting to be able to fix the color, being careful not to overprocess her hair with chemicals, like my sister.

I have always been very picky on where I get my haircut. I have always loved going to Salon Wow. I go and see Hannah every time. They do great work and have products that a lot of other salons do not carry. I recommend to friends and family members!

It's the #1 place in the Tristate area to go to get your hair done! I would recommend salon WOW 100%! They are professional, wonderful, courteous and just everything great! The entire staff there is amazing! You can walk in feeling blah but you will walk out feeling like a brand new refreshed person! I won't never go anywhere else. I been going there for years and I recommend them to all my family and friends. Thank you to Audrey and all the stylists and staff for always going above and beyond to make every time I come there special!

I have been a happy customer for well over 12 years. I love the atmosphere and the stafff are always friendly. Very rarely have I had issues with how my hair has Turned out, but on the few occasions I have, they are always there to fix it right away.

I'm pretty easy going when it comes to getting my hair done, but I rarely find a place where I actually feel comfortable going. I can finally say that I found a place that I love! Michele was fantastic, and I will definitely be going back!

First time, I have thick, frizzy, curly hair. Michele was my stylist she was great. She recommended products, she told me if any reason I'm not happy to come back and she'd fix it's I'm very pleased.

My first time going to WOW was a great experience. I just moved to Evansville Indiana from Saint Louis. If you're anything like me, you've been doing your hair the same way forever and getting it cut by the same person forever! So this was a completely new concept for me, having my hair cut and styled by a complete stranger in a new area.

I loved the way my hair turned out and the hairstylists were SO polite and very helpful! I felt like a princess by the end of the appointment when the girl who cut and colored my hair asked if she could take a few photos with a ring light. I can't wait until my next appointment!

I had my hair done yesterday by Ellen. She was amazing! Spent a lot of time on my hair to get the colors that I wanted, my hair was already colored, and it turned out great! You cant even tell it had already been colored. I would highly recommend going to Ellen!

Tim is AMAZING - cut and color in a PERFECT brunette for only $100 I've never paid that little for a cut and color. Tim knows hair and what products are best - he's the perfect stylist and I think I found my go to guy from now on!

Last weekend a bridal party I was maid of honor in went to Salon Wow for hair and make up appointments pre-wedding. The stylists were each adept at tailoring the hairstyle to the specific needs of that party member as well as the over all wants of the bride. The only hair malfunction later on was that the bride's curls didn't stay curly (really they were hardly curled by the time we reached the wedding venue which was our next stop).

It caused the bride some frustration and we were all glad that someone had remembered to bring hairspray anyway - which helped us salvage what we could of her remaining curls. What really pushed this to five stars was the way they were able to work with the flower girl. She was overwhelmed by the big day and had never had her hair professionally done before (I mean, she's 8). The staff were super gentle with her and made her feel special about her role in the days proceedings.

This is the best Salon in the city. Without a doubt. I have never walked away from here without being extremely happy. If you are in the need of a fantastic haircut, Natalie is the very best there is!

After going here for over three years, I sadly say that I will not return. My first stylist just left, so I had to choose a new one. Very nice young gal, but never seemed to "get" the style I was trying to achieve. After $73 spent in six weeks, it took me being very upset & 2 people to cut my hair to an acceptable level. In my opinion, they charge salon prices & hire young, inexperienced staff. If you want a professional look - stick with experienced stylists & avoid this place!
