Elegant Touch Salon & Day Spa

This place is closing the end of March. And they we're kinda rude when I was there trying to get an appointment.

I went in for a balayage highlight and a trim. She ended up giving me a mix between ombre and balayage and the "trim" looked like she chopped the front part of my hair off. It was basically a long mullet. After a day or so I noticed some spots of bleach on my roots and other parts where the brown and blonde was not blended well and was a straight line across my hair.

I went in for a fix the following week. She fixed the color with a Demi permanent color (which has already faded) and she tried to fix the cut. It looked even worse. There was no way to fix it at this point, so I had to have her chop my hair off. The owner called me the following week to ask how I liked the services. I told her how unhappy I was and that I won't be coming back, so she offered me $25 off another service.

I explained that I wouldn't be back. I called the following week to ask for my money back because that is THE MOST money I had EVER spent on my hair and it was just awful. She declined. $25 in relation to what I spent is nothing. The whole experience was awful. And now my hair is chopped off. Not what I wanted at all. The owner said they guarantee their work, but they clearly don't guarantee it after you've left the salon.

Love this place. Great services. Their estitician is the best.

One of the worst manicures and polish jobs I have ever had. When i mentioned that fact they just brushed it off. Will NOT be returning. I can do a better job myself.

This was my first time coming in here and I was very pleased with the service. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and Haley (the girl who cut my hair) did an excellent job! She took her time and did exactly what I asked for. It was also very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning here for my future hair cuts.

As a physician, I look for cleanliness and best practices when delivering any type of service. I make sure I go to That Elegant Touch Salon for all my esthetic needs. They have given me excellent service everytime I go in and their products are always of the highest caliber.

I have never been to a salon and spa where I was treated so well. Before you even enter the door, you are welcomed with spa music and it sets the tone for your whole experience. The front desk area always nice and make sure you are not needing anything and the services are great. The building is beautiful. The interior is beautiful. The services are second to none in the Mckinney and surrounding area.

With all of that said, I was pleasantly surprised at the resonable pricing. You could pay a lot more and get a lot less at other spas in McKinney. Try the Aloe Slimming Wrap, the Hydrating Body Polish and their fabulous Hydrating Facial. I did. They were are great. Then there is the hair salon. Very upbeat and very professional. I love that they cater to adults who need a break.

I didn't see or hear any kids in there and when I asked about it, the front desk informed me that they don't book children's services in the evenings or on Saturdays. YEAH ! I love kids but not at the spa. Thanks That Elegant Touch.
