I love working/tanning here! The beds are the most up to date with bulbs and red light therapy, which is my favorite thing about the smart beds, they also include air conditioning in the beds with face lamps and shoulder lamps to make sure your getting every part nice an tan! I recommend the level 5 beds as they are no burning rays 100% tanning rays so you will get the dark color your looking for! We have 3 level 5 beds so less of a chance you will have to wait! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, Value Smart tan is really a great experience and great place to tan. The prices are good and also it has a lot of recommended lotion to use and different varieties of lotions and bottles. There are different levels of tanning bed to use.

Amazing worker behind counter. However place is outdated. I know my spray tans and its been almost 24 hrs( and i haven't showered ) and i have ZERO color. 40 dollars down the drain! Machine needs maintenence and from what i can tell by other reviews your beds need new light bulbs. To owner, please take these reviews to heart and maintenence your business.

Or you business will suffer more quickly then you think. Your mystic spray room was filthy and you need a new up to date spray booth. Invest now and reap long term faithful customers. Thanks Ps. Seriously ZERO color. Very odd. I know my solutions and spray booths. Clean machine spray pumps!

If you want a smart safe way to tan, smart tan is your place, from loads of lotions to wonderful different bronzes and great customer service, clean booths. Don't be afraid to ask for help or suggestions for lotions i did and I've been tanning for years, for new customers they help you decide on what level you should start on and what level your trying to achieve. I was tanning at planet fitness without red light UV and saw what it was doing to my skin now i am using using red light i feel more safe in the booth.

I can't say enough bad things about this place. My friend and I were really excited to go to this tanning salon. The woman at the front was the rudest person. She did not great us when we walked in, wouldn't speak more than two words to us, refused to explain how the tanning packages worked, did not respond to questions, did not show us the salon or how to use the beds, it was dirty - she even told me to clean it myself. I asked for a towel and she said no. This place is dirty, smells, and this woman should be fired. Horrible tanning salon. Never go here or waste your time.

I was here about a week ago and for the first time ever I wasn't afraid of the girl at the counter, finally someone who wasn't annoyed that I came in! At one point there was a person who was always so rude I didn't want to come in, she'd always be on the phone fighting with her boyfriend, using the place as her daycare, and she'd use the customer parking spot for her own vehicle.

So happy to see a face that smiled at customers, even if it was under a mask! So points for finally hiring someone who isn't miserable! But. some updates need to be made in this place, the booths have been playing the same songs for years. I always know my time is up halfway through the techno remix of Boys of Summer. And the package pricing makes no sense at all. $25 a single visit (which is super high, especially if you look at the franchise website which lists an average Smart Tan visit at $6.90) $63 for 3 visits.$136 for 6 visits (over double the 3 visit price?).

The owner needs to review the math on this. Otherwise, I do always feel that it is clean here and have never had an issue with bulbs being weak. 2 Stars for Pricing, 4 stars for being clean and finally hiring someone I don't think will find me and slash my tires for writing a review. 5 stars for the new lady that waited on me last week.

This location is always clean, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and there is so many beds to choose from! I don't always have enough time to get out and sit in the sun everyday, so I thought I would try indoor tanning at Smart Tan in Somerville since it was close to where I live. I used their level 5 bed a couple times now and I love it! It is 100% tanning rays so I don't have to worry about burning at all! Definitely recommending this place to my friends and family!

I have been going to this salon for 6 years now, and I have been to several other salons in the surrounding Boston area. I have yet to write a review until now. Of all the years I have come into the salon, I have never met such an amazing staff until I met Felicia Figueroa, a staff at Smart Tan in Somerville. She has recently provided service to me at the salon.

It is people like her that get me excited to go back and to remain loyal to certain businesses. She has been extremely accommodating, and has on multiple occasions now taken the time to sit down and explain the services to me. She goes the extra mile, and is a light to be around. She convinced me to sign on for a package deal, and her sales pitch was hard to turn down.

I am extremely pleased with this salon, and plan to tan there for the remainder of my tanning days! If your boss reads these, I hope he knows how lucky he is to have a staff as promoting and accommodating as you. I highly recommend this salon. It is clean, the beds are amazing, and the service is wonderful! I have never waited to be placed in a bed, and the prices are very reasonable. Thank you Smart Tan, and a special thanks to Felicia!

It's hard to find a good tanning salon in Massachusetts I feel, but after being to this salon I knew it was the best I could find! It has levels 1-5 & has the high quality smart beds I only use. The staff is friendly & informative and the salon is actually very clean & modern looking. On top of that they offer the best lotions at the most fair prices. Won't go anywhere else!
