This is one of the best salons I've ever been. I recently went to Shannon and she gave me the most amazing haircut! She takes her time to listen to what you're looking for and delivers! I haven't been this happy with a haircut in a long time. I drive all the way from the city and I will continue to do just that : Services: Hairstyling, Haircut

Katie has been cutting my hair for over 2 years now. She's made Salon Lorrene a great place to spend time - it's always clean, bright, and all the employees are friendly and passionate about their work.

I visited to the salon yesterday. I had a facial and a massage. Both services were excellent! One of the BEST massages I have ever had as well as a learning experience. I appreciated what I was told and Marinela was spot on with her assessments of what was going on with me. She worked on me and while I am a little sore (no pain, no gain) I feel so much better!

Regarding my facial- I have not had many of those -this was a treat. Also, I have always taken care of my skin. Mila was wonderful and explained the process. My skin felt and looks great! Totally going back AND treating my hard working hubby too!

Kylie is amazing! She is so sweet and kind and incredibly knowledgeable about blonde hair. I will definitely be seeing her from now on

I actually went to get consult for Balayage. Front desk was not helpful and I was waiting for 15min past my consult time. Then Katie took me over. She i very nice. Gave me good consult. While scheduling an appointment when seeing how much business I am going to give them, front desk lady got nice to me. She took my credit card information and appointments were available 2months away for me.

And they refused to work extended hour if I need sooner appointment. So, I got sooner appointments in another salon who were more professional than corporate and they are ready to stay extended hour for me. I could feel the difference in the customer care right away. And now its been 2 days and I have called them multiple times to Cancel my appointments on 03/12 and 04/09 - much in advance and they are not receiving my calls or returning them. This shows how unprofessional they are and slacking they are in their Job. Because may be its their strategy to get some cancellation fee from my credit card.

I found this salon on google and it was near my home and had great reviews. I scheduled an appointment with Kylie based on her bio and reviews. She was very sweet and down to earth. I wanted a big change from my basic shoulder length style with boring blonde highlights. Kylie was a little nervous when I told her I was serious about how different I wanted to go, but she listened, looked at the dozen or so pictures I showed her, and gave me a stylish, precision cut, and spent so much time getting a very specific color and highlight combination for me. I will see her again! As she gets to know my hair better- I can't wait to see what else she'll do to my hair when I get bored again!

Everything about Salon Lorrene is impressive and top notch. Katie has done my hair and Karina my nails. Both of these ladies are professional to the core and super nice. The place is very clean and comfortable. They sell the hair products they use but no pressure to buy. I'm so impressed and BONUS! I live within walking distance. How great is that!

I am a longtime client. I have been going to this salon since 2001. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and courteous. The stylists are top notch and the owner is personable and makes a point to say hello to the clients. She keeps her salon spic and span clean and I have seen several updates and remodels in the 20 years I have been a client. There are always specials and Lori decorates for every holiday.

The best service and quality offered here. Full service salon that provides all your needs from nails to hair to massage. One the best massages I have had was here! Marinela is the best!

I am usually not a fussy customer, but I would not recommend doing the face wax with Mia. I did first time and my skin was burnt. After long debating I went again after almost 9 months.and still a very very bad experience. Got redness and pimples still 4 days later and skin is still irritated and damaged with face wax. I have been going for face wax for few years now, and this is by far the work experience ever. Not only the whole face got damaged, hair was not removed properly either.very very upset.

Went here 4.5 years ago should've wrote this review right away came in with bleach blonde hair that was already ashy to get a dirty blonde hair color. Lady dyed my hair black somehow blamed it on my hair being porous, I told her and showed her photo of the dirty blonde hair I wanted. She the same day did a color remover on me and dyed my hair again which again came out red black, this damaged my hair so bad I'm just now 4.5 years later finally having normal hair again.

Avoid this place I have no idea how they are getting 5 star reviews. I cried and was depressed for years because of the lack of care and precaution with the hair dressers here. Gross. I have learned to look at real reviews before going to salons. Went to two other salons after where both women cared about my hair and did it exactly as I like and no one else said my hair is "porous". Honestly so disappointing. Writing this because I think about this experience time to time. Traumatizing. Please don't respond with your fake apologies, this is to warn other clients. Lada K

Everything. Kristen is amazing and the establishment is very clean and very welcoming. The owner is usually there, at least every time I was, and she couldn't be nicer. The employees don't ever complain to the clients which is something you encounter in a lot of salons, but thankfully not at this one. Customer service is above and beyond and you'll leave feeling beautiful I highly recommend the salon as I have to friends and family.

Had a cut and color with Katie, amazing! My hair has an great shape and flow to it. It's perfect! And she knew just what to do for my color, I couldn't be happier!

I appreciate the friendly professionalism of the staff. The salon's atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The front desk handles schedules quickly and effectively. COVID precautions in effect ensure the safety of all. Most importantly, I love my stylist Kylie. I would try anyone on staff at Salon Lorrene. Lorie, the owner leads by example and she is excellent.

I had a lovely haircut and terrific time with Vanessa. I had long thick wavy hair and got it cut into a long lob. She understood my hair and my vibes for the look immediately even though she has never seen me without a mask lol. The salon was clean and everyone working there was friendly and caring. A pleasure from beginning to end.

Got a caramel balayage with Jessica on a busy Saturday morning! She did a wonderful job. I've gotten similar hair colorings before but never as light as I went this time--it was dark blonde in some places. I know dark/black hair can be tougher to work with because the bleach takes so long, but Jessica was very thorough and even while she was taking care of other clients, I never felt forgotten. She checked the bleaching progress often. I think 3 hours went by pretty quickly! Thank you so much for the spring refresh!

Went for a haircut and after showing the pictures (curled hair that touches shoulders) Shannon confirmed she knew what I wanted. ugh. I'm so unhappy. She cut it way too short. My hair is barely touching my shoulders when it's straight. I realized she was rushing right after a girl came by asking if she was going to be done soon because her next appointment was here. I know it's just hair but i actually started crying. I paid $55 for a haircut I hate and because I'm an idiot I still tipped the stylist $17. I regret going here.

I have gone to this salon since it opened It is amazing! My stylist is Stacy and she is an expert at cutting my curly hair - no small feat. Additionally, she is an awesome colorist. The salon is beautiful. There are no clocks and yet appointment times are kept. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. The reception desk staff greets you by name and are efficient and friendly. I highly recommend Salon Lorrene!

Update- Months later, my brows still aren't back to normal. So annoyed. Came here a few weeks ago for my eyebrows and it was the worst experience ever. I've left a review on Facebook but didn't get an acknowledgement so I'll post it here. I got to my car and started crying immediately when I looked in the mirror. My brows were so botched I didn't know what to do.

There was no more hair left on the ends and they were so spotty. I've also NEVER had a reaction to wax like that either. 3 days later it was still red. The esthetician should've focused more on my brows than chomping her gum in my face and trying to see me a facial that I clearly did not want. Don't forget to take cash when you go either.

You can't tip on the card but no one tells you that until AFTER you pay or unless you've been there before. Really wanted to like this place because it's so close to me but I'll drive the hour back home to get them done from here on out.

Aleece does a excellent Pedicure and manicure I highly recommend her. She is very professional and a nice person. I have also had several massages as well very relaxing I highly recommend Salon Lorrene

The salon was beautiful and my lady was so nice. But these are probably the worst and most expensive highlights I have ever gotten. They're way over processed and CHUNKY. I can't even go out without covering y hair. I was so disappointed and I hope I can find someone to seriously fix this.

I've been coming here since it opened. They're wonderful. Brianna does my hair and she's honestly the best she goes through options with me and always does what's best for my hair. I lost a lot of hair due to medication and she's worked with me the past year to make my hair look and feel wonderful even with the changes it's going through. Love Brianna and going to see her. I come all the way from Rockford and won't stop any time soon. thank you! You're the best!

I had such a weird experience here. I was referred to a specific stylist by a friend. I made an appointment online and received a confirmation. On my way to my appointment, I got caught in a rain storm and was going to be a few minutes late so I called to let them know. They told me I didn't have an appointment and the stylist I made an appointment with wasn't there.

I went ahead and rescheduled for the coming up Saturday with the same stylist. On my way to the salon, I got a call saying the stylist I wanted was MIA. They kind of went into detail about how they couldn't reach her and had no idea where she was. It was strange. They asked if I wanted to use Kim instead. At this point, I was already on my way so I agreed. Kim was a delight to chat with and did a good job with my hair. The salon just came off a little wonky to me though and it was a little pricey for my liking. Kim gets 5 stars, salon gets more like a 2.

It was my girlfriends first time getting her hair done here and wow, very impressed! The very friendly front desk associates gave us a tour of the salon before her appointment. The place is beautiful and has so much to offer. Hair, nails, facials, massages, the works! My GF is very picky with her hair but Shannon (the stylist) made her hair look amazing. We found her a new hair stylist that we can trust, thank goodness
