Styling Castle

I would never go back I was so disappointed in my haircut it looked nothing like the photo she made me look like a boy. Too short & she had no concept of natural curly hair cuts. End of my appearance wasn't at all what I went in for sadly I have to wake up every day unhappy in the haircut. I paid her +$ tip. & so dissatisfied. All I'm looking forward to now is it growing out once again. & no trust in a beautican. Here in Tennessee.

Jessica cut and dyed my hair, did a good Job and she was super nice.

I made an appointment online and went in for a consultation beforehand. Then went in today for a cut/color with the Great Chris! I will have to live with the hair for awhile to see how much I love it. However I do appreciate the care and expertise of Chris and Styling Castle ! * Not as bright red copper color as I wanted. It's more than 75% brown and not red.

Maybe hair salons just don't know what bright red means. Or hair color like Merrida in Brave. I even brought in multiple pictures. This happens every time that I get my hair dyed at a salon. Am I the only one that sees the orange red color of Merrida's hair? Maybe it's impossible for hair salons to do. I think I am going to keep dying my hair myself or use henna.

4/3/21 I started my day as any normal bride would stressed yet excited to be marrying the love of my life. I wake up and I'm working on last minute details and preparing for one of the biggest days of my life, when I received a phone call from a hair salon that I had booked 3 weeks in advance for a Bridal Hairstyle. They proceeded to tell me that the person who was scheduled to do my hair had a family emergency and had to fly out of town, and then they quickly stated they would call me back to reschedule my hair appointment for another day.

I freaked out. I lost my cool. I cried. I then remembered my previous experience at styling castle for a hair color. Being Easter weekend I didn't think it would be possible, but I called them and explained my situation and I was met with lots of love and positivity. Styling Castle booked me immediately and I was even contacted and reassured I would be taken care of.

The experience was beyond what I expected. I walked in and immediately began to de-stress. It felt like it was my own family taking me in and letting me know everything is going to be okay. Not just 1 person but 3 people helped prep and groom my hair to perfection and just in time for me to go home change and be on my way to a new chapter of life.

I said it before I left and I'll say it again here, I WILL NEVER BOOK ANOTHER HAIR APPOINTMENT WITH ANY OTHER BUSINESS. This place feels like home and the service and experience is phenomenal. They even took it to the next level and gave me my own mini photo shoot to have for wedding memories. I can't explain how grateful I am to the girls who took such good care of me on my special day.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value Chris is the best stylist in Memphis! I live in Miami now and refuse to let ANYONE touch my hair but him. I fly to Tennessee about 4 times a year to get my hair done by him! He has been doing my hair for 2 years and he is the absolute sweetest and nicest person ever!

Not real good with "hair terminology" but you don't have to be with Fred. If he can see the age, color, and texture of your hair he KNOWS how to cut, color, and style it! All this while giving me good practical advise on how to care for my hair. I absolutely love my cut! I have very fine hair - Fred cut & layered it (keeping the length) in a way that gives fullness. I even had to pull my hair up to convince my husband that I didn't have extensions! Again, love my cut - thanks Fred!

I had an appointment today with Ms. Lauren and she was amazing! She gave me exact hair color of my dreams. She didn't pull my hair savagely like other hairstylist have done in the past with my hair, she's very sweet and obviously very talented. The last picture is indoors and I also posted a before pic. If I could give a higher rating I certainly would! Jessica one of the owners. ( both owners are FABULOUS) has been doing my hair for 10 years! Knowing her the way I do she would only employ the best employees. She has always figured out what I wanted even when I really can't describe it myself! I have never been this loyal to a hairstylist in my life!

When you find a great one you drive (45 minutes one way) to have your hair done by her and her only! There is no one like her and she is so honest, if it wont look good with your face shape, she willl tell you. I can't imagine my hair without her cutting it! I have had it done by others as a last minute in and out close to my home. Left very unhappy and mad at myself that I didn't go where I should have, to Jessica at Styling Castle! If your in the market you MUST go here!

Chris is incredible! I am very picky about how my hair is cut and styled, he never disappoints. The stylists are welcoming and professional, the shop itself is clean and warm and inviting. Love these guys, wouldn't let anyone else cut my hair!
