I have been in the hair industry for the past 40 years and can genuinely say I still love what I do! As the owner of The Guillotine Salon and Spa for the past 20 years, my emphasis has been on continued education. My love for color and hair design has fueled my passion and need for growth. I am privileged to have an amazing Team who create an environment that share and promote inspiration everyday. Our goal is to have our guests look and feel better than when they arrived. Charlotte joined the team at Guillotine Salon & Spa in 2004.
We price our services based off time, technique, and stylist, NOT gender. We are comitted to creating a gender affirming, Inclusive, and safer space for all of our clients. Our full-service salon offers a variety of beauty services to make you look and feel great. Prices can vary depending on hair length, extent of work, time, special package deals and more.
All of our service providers are creative artists that have completed advanced in salon training and provide exceptional service. They are placed on a level system that reflects the advanced education they have obtained, their experience in the industry, and demand on their time. As always, the Guillotine provides exceptional service, but even more so under the current strict Covid requirements. They have Implemented steps to ensure the safety and health of both clients and staff even though it meant that they would be able accommodate less clients per day than their pre-Covid volume. In spite of this, they were able to catch up on 3 months worth of appointments that had to be cancelled as a result of the state mandate to close businesses and were back with the same helpful, talented and professional service without missing a beat. I very much appreciate the wonderful staff and the care in which they treat their clients like family.

Anna is an expert in cosmetics and the face! Went to her after staying in the ICU for a week. Was on a high dose of steroids that caused severe acne and facial inflammation. She new exactly what to use and how to be gentle to sensitive skin. Came in with highly a irritated and red face, left glowing! Face is so relaxed and calm. Highly recommend a custom facial with Anna!

First time here and received amazing customer service from the moment I called to find out about the calligraphy cut. I was greated at the door, temp checked and on my way to the hair dressers station. Carmen and Lynn did an amazing job with my color and listened to my concerns. Lynn did a calligraphy cut that brought my hair back to life. I cannot wait for my next appointment.

I gave myself a gift today by visiting the Guillotine Salon in Westfield, New Jersey. I was feeling bold this morning and decided to venture out! I found a last minute appointment online, unbelievable! Lucky me! Everyone at the Guillotine Salon was professional and I felt safe in this Covid environment. My cut is as cute as can be! Enjoy!

I have been going to Guillotine for almost 10 years and I love it there! The staff is so nice and professional and the space is immaculate. I was nervous coming back for a much needed cut and color post-quarantine, but they really stepped up the cleanliness (which I did not think was possible) to allay any concerns I had and were meticulous about abiding by the regulations they had to follow. Carissa is an amazing stylist who always knows what I want without even having to say anything and yet again, I was thrilled with the quality of service I received. I highly recommend Guillotine to everyone I know.

I came in today last minute because I needed to retouch my hair and Maryann took really good care of me. She was very professional and meticulous with my thick hair. She took her time with me and gave me the exact cut that I wanted and desperately needed. It's very obvious she has a passion for her work and I just wanted to say thank you and that I really appreciate the good service that I received.
