To help us keep a tranquil spa atmosphere and be considerate to all clients, kindly silence your cell phones when entering the Spa. Aromatherapy Full Body 80 min. Relaxation Massage, Restore Facial, Glass Slipper Pedicure, Diamond Ring Manicure and lunch. Requires a non-refundable $60 deposit if canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours prior.
At Spa on the Avenue our goal is to target your specific concerns and restore your skin to its optimum health. Your skincare facial will be customized to treat the following conditions: dehydration, excessive oil, environmental stresses, sensitive skin, pigmentation and premature aging. Our most popular and loved restore facial with additional 10 minutes of tension melting massage time.
You will experience the benefits of massage, enhanced circulation, relief of muscle tension, promotion of healthy skin, as well as mental and physical well-being. Let our LMT's customize your treatment. Whether you need to relax or need attention to your aching back or neck, we will tailor a massage treatment to target your specific needs.
In addition to the Classic, you will receive an exfoliation treatment that softens and moisturizes the hands. Our Glow Manicure with additional intense, moisturizing effects of a warm paraffin wax, which helps to refine and restore dry, rough skin followed with relaxing massage. Enjoy a relaxing soak in one of our four massaging pedicure chairs.

Firstly, everyone at this salon is so nice including all the front desk staff. Absolutely loved my deep tissue massage with Kimmone! She was so nice and responsive to my needs. She asked me my problem areas and made a point to focus on them during the massage while also hitting every other muscle group. I left feeling tension free. I also spent some time in the salt cave. It was a nice way to relax after a massage before going back to "real life". Thank you so much Kimmone! -Alexandra

I've been a long-time customer of Spa on the Avenue and my family, friends, and co-workers have given me many gift cards over the years. This week I called to make an appointment for myself and a friend. I asked that they check the gift card numbers and was told that both had expired. The total of the two gift cards was $82. As we all know, we've been in the midst of an unprecedented, 19-month pandemic.
I was told by the general manager, Marni, that under no circumstances could she extend the date. I asked that she call the owner. She did, and the owner wouldn't extend the courtesy of honoring the gift cards, citing the gift card system wouldn't allow it and Maryland law. It's beyond my comprehension that a business owner would lose a customer over $82, a small amount of money for her business but a large amount for future business.
I've alerted my friends and family to never again purchase gift cards for anyone from SOTA but to please use About Faces as I have a gift card from the same time frame that they've chosen to honor. Marni and the other employee I spoke with at SOTA were, at times, extremely rude and condescending. Because of your attitude of indifference, you've lost this customer. Obviously this attitude comes from the owner and she hasn't learned that Customer satisfaction = success.

I've always loved this spa. Recently I booked a massage for my husband but when the date came he had an emergency and couldn't make the appointment. I called to let them know and apologized for the no-show. They told me when I booked, that I would be charged for a no show and I fully understood that. As I spoke with the host they were super understanding & offerred to wave the fee.
They didn't have to do that and knowing the masseuse would be out of that money, I tipped her the price of the massage anyhow. We will return & for sure make the next appointment. Highly recommend.

I received a gift card for my birthday, so I made an appointment for a cut and color on a Friday evening for the following Monday. When I spoke to the receptionist on the phone, I described exactly what I wanted done and also described the current color and condition of my hair. She told me that I was booked for a consultation, cut and color on Monday at 5:45.
Come Monday, I drive to the salon (a fairly long commute for me) wait to be taken back, then when I sit down in the chair, describe what I'm looking for and show photos, I'm told by my stylist that I would "need a consultation" and that there "isn't enough time to do that tonight" and "the receptionist should have booked you for a longer appointment".
I explained that I had described my hair and what I wanted on the phone and was told I was scheduled for a consultation, cut and color. The only answer I was provided with was that "that receptionist is new" and then basically told that they couldn't do the appointment at all this evening. I got up from the chair, the stylist walked away and I was left to stand bewildered in the salon.
At that point I just walked out of the salon. It was honestly totally unacceptable and I expected better service and treatment from such a seemingly high end spa. I went there as a birthday treat to get my hair done and left with nothing but disappointment.

I'm husband purchased me a gift card for the "roll out the red carpet" package, this was actually the second time I've gotten this package. First time went great, second time I left crying. The spa wrote the specific package that the gift card was for on the card. I completed all of the services that the gift card was purchased for, and after I completed them all, they told me I owed them more money.
They said they raised their prices after the gift card was purchased so they would no longer honor the card. I spoke to the manager who was very rude and told me "it is what it is" and that they "hadn't raised their prices in a while so it was time". I'm the end I had to put money toward my own gift. My husband thought he was doing this great thing for me and it turned out to be horrible.
It was supposed to be a nice relaxing experience but instead I left really upset and crying because the manager was so extremely rude, not what I expected at all. Ruined my birthday. I'm not the kind of person that asks for handouts, I just wanted them to honor what they sold us, instead we got several excuses from the manager, and why did they wait until I was done to tell me all of this?!?! Don't buy a gift package from here for your loved ones, I would hate for them to have the experience I did.
You get fooled into a purchase that doesn't cover what you were told you were getting. Especially after you couldn't go during Covid and now that you can they raise prices on you for something that was purchased beforehand. They lost a loyal customer!

I have been here twice and I've had great experiences both times! A few months ago I got a massage from Kimberly. And she was incredible! She listened to my needs and did a wonderful job. Recently I went for a pedicure and it was great! Kelly was amazing. She was super professional and I left with incredibly smooth feet and a very well done polishing. Highly recommend!

I had such a great time when I went to get my nails done! I highly recommend the manicure package with the sugar scrub and paraffin treatment. It left my hands feeling so soft. The staff was so kind and welcoming, Esther, the receptionist, even gave us a tour. I definitely want to come back to try some of the many other services they offer.

I made an appointment for my wife an I to get a facial. My wife has never had one and was extremely skeptical, but Barbara made her feel at ease right away. She was very patient, and very knowledgeable about the products and services. Now my wife wants to get facials on a regular basis, and even booked an appointment for a dermatolical facial in 2 weeks! We were happy with our results, and look forward to coming back!

Received a 45 min facial with Barb S. who truly did an amazing job. Asked about my concerns and walked me through how she addressed them along with what products she used. Even gave me samples to continue to use before purchasing. I highly recommend her for all your skin needs. Incredibly knowledgeable about products used, plus it was very relaxing
