Coiffurium East Side

I have been going to Coiffurium for about 10 years. I love it there. It is always clean and smells good, and the staff at the front desk are welcoming and helpful. The hairdressers are talented and personable. I am fussy about my hair and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Services: Highlights, Hairstyling, Haircut

Went here for five years and received many great hair cuts, but the price went up so much that I can't no longer afford $60+ for a basic trim.

What can I add to this chorus of positive reviews? What I ask of KellyAnn is sort of ridiculous--in many ways a "just a [men's] haircut", but most often I need to have a rather precise take on that standard for stage work. She gets it and gets it done, and all the while the conversation rolls along delightfully. The front end of the operation is very well run. The space is bright and comfortable, tastefully and unfussily furnished, and immaculately clean.

The best! I see Aryonna and was looking to do balayage but since I had damaged hair we've been doing a few sessions so I can get my hair to a healthy state before doing so. I've been seeing her for almost a year now to dye my hair/haircut and she's so nice and does amazing at her job to make you feel comfortable and to make sure your hair is in fantastic shape whenever you leave the salon. I also had my hair done by Kelly Ann for hairstyling and she was so sweet and nice as well. She did an amazing job with my hair!

I cannot say enough good things about this salon and my stylist, Aryonna. I had my first haircut since October, 2019 today. (due to leg injury and COVID) The sailing is handling COVID protocols very well. It is spotlessly clean as always and chairs are separated by what look like plastic shower curtains. I was completely comfortable. Aryonna did an amazing job on my hair as she always does.

A testament to her amazing talent is how good my hair still looked, even after all this time had passed. She always has a wait for appointments but it's well worth it! Just make sure you leave one or two available for me!

I have been a customer at this salon for around 10 years. Knowledgeable, friendly staff; very professional stylists who keep up to date; professionally run and very clean business. They did a GREAT job during Covid. I have never had any complaints. From what I can tell, their prices are more than reasonable as well. From my perspective, highly recommended.

What a great discovery. I had to find a beauty salon with a stylist that specializes in cutting curly hair after my long term stylist left my salon shortly before salons starting reopening. Shelby is a wonder! Great stylist and colorist. Unusual to find someone who is so versatile. Love, love my hair. Incredibly reasonable prices. I can't give enough positives to Shelby and Coiffurium.

Had my first experience today at Coiffurium Salon and I can't say a single negative thing! I saw Aryonna for a balayage and haircut, and I swear this is the best my hair has looked in I don't know how long. She took her time with me, and was so patient with my very thick long hair! She is so talented and experienced with what she does, and I swear she's a magician.

I love the way my hair came out, and I know it's going to grow in so nicely. I'm a hairdresser myself, and I specialize in color, and I can say from the point of view of someone who works behind the chair that this girl is VERY talented. Huge fan of them! I love my stylist Erica Young. She's sweet, personable, and remembers things about me! She's also so reasonably priced at $50 for a haircut with wash and quick blow dry out. And getting an appt is so easy! Lucky to have found her!

I am a relatively new customer to this salon. I find the staff to be very welcoming and professional. They have made me feel very comfortable with getting my haircut during these Covid times as they go above and beyond to ensure their clients' safety and comfort. I highly recommend my hairdresser Pat or any of the stylists.

Could not be more happy to have the Coiffurium open again as we move into Phase 2 of ReOpen RI. This is the very best salon I have been to. The receptionists are so accommodating to my schedule. Melissa is a pure genius with color and styling. I would highly recommend Coiffurium to all. I am so happy with my experience and haircut at Coiffurium! I am new to Providence and saw this salon on Hope Street, looking for a place to get a fresh new cut. After looking at reviews on yelp, I was convinced this was the place to go. I was AMAZED at how wonderful they treat their customers and their interest in making me comfortable as a new customer. Patty did my haircut and she was FABULOUS!

I told her that my hair was pretty unhealthy from this past year and I could use some recommendations for hair products. Patty took such care in washing my hair and explaining which products she was using! I came in and said I wanted a short cut above my shoudlers for summer and she nailed it. I was so impressed! The price was unbeatable and I left knowing I will be back again! This salon is wonderful and I highly recommend!

I never had a bad experience at Coiffurium. The staff was lovely, as were the stylists, but no one ever topped Jess. She's recently spread her wings and is now at Per Caso Salon in Smithfield, and so I've followed her.

Kim did a good job of cutting my hair. The salon is welcoming and friendly and prices are reasonable. I will go back

I've been going to Erin at the Coiffurium since I moved to Providence, almost 12 years ago and that was a stroke of great luck! Erin is lovely, talented, and listens well. She's been with me through my first pixie, growing it out long, donating my hair, and going short again. I get many compliments on my haircut and color (it's all natural salt and pepper and Erin's never suggested/recommended that I color it, which I appreciate) and I always refer people to Erin and the Coiff!

A few times, I had to go to other stylists and had a great experience, although I'm loyal to Erin through and through. The front desk crew is also wonderfully hospitable, warm, and they can sometimes make scheduling magic happen! All around, five stars.

Shelby did an awesome job with my DevaCut! My curls have so much more volume without the frizz. I'll defiantly be coming back!

Another yelp find that has worked out beautifully for me! I desperately needed a haircut. My hair was too long and just lifeless. I was able to get an appointment with Patty within a couple days of calling the salon. When I came in she was ready to go, asked me what I wanted to change and some questions about my hair history. I loved that she didn't judge my honesty about flat ironing my hair too much or that I went way too long without cutting my hair and it was now super jagged and uneven.

After washing and conditioning, she started cutting. She cut off about 6 inches and left me with a very beautiful cut. My hair went from feeling lifeless to full of bounce and nice, clean lines. She styled it so it was sleek but still had waves throughout- no frizz. I was in and out of the salon in less than an hour. Amazingly efficient and worth the cost of service. I will be returning.

Kelly was awesome, she revived my hair. The salon is beautiful, front desk services was great & hope street is awesome. They have late hours which I love only down fall is the parking sucks - I know it's not their fault. Looking forward to my next visit.

Thank you thank you thank you! I had a terrible start to my day when I fell into Coiffurium's hands. My hair stylist had cancelled on me 30 minutes before my appointment at another salon. I was truly upset because I had waited 3 weeks for my appointment. I called Coiffurium in a panic, and I can't tell you how amazing my day was after. The woman at the front desk truly made me feel better ( I think her name is Megan).

She listened, offered me assistance and options and set me up with the most awesome stylist Kelly Ann. The salon is clean & everyone is beyond friendly. My head massage was spectacular and my hair looks happy and healthy. I can't wait for my next appointment and am happy to have found this salon. Keep up the awesome work!

Incredible! Just left my third visit and it's settled- this place is truly a 5 Star Hair Salon! Moved to the area about a year ago.needed a new salon (cause I'm sick of driving back to Quincy).checked out my favorite, trusty website, Yelp, and there you have it! -Friendly! From phone to chair to exit! -Clean! Spotless, decorated tastefully and not cluttered! -LONGEST WASH OF MY LIFE! Chairs even recline with a footrest! Kelly is my girl!

So sweet and totally gets me. I have the thickest hair ever and I haven't caught her once roll her eyes when she's coloring, cutting or blow drying ALL this. (I feel bad that a smooth blow dry takes over 35 minutes. I'd roll my eyes if I saw this sitting in front of me!) I get a thousand compliments whenever I leave Coiffurium, and I can't wait for my next visit!
