Our team of experienced and professional stylists and beauty specialists will make your experience here at John of Italy exceptional. Originally from Sicily, Italy, opened John of Italy Salon and Spa in 1982. With over 55 years of hairstyling experience, John has made his salon and day spa the premier beauty establishment in the Conejo Valley.
Client will receive the balance of their appointment time and be charged full price for their service. CancellationsA 24-hour notice is required to cancel an appointment. A non-refundable fee equal to 50% of the scheduled treatment may be charged when no notice is given. May be used after the expiration date, however if the price of the service(s) has increased, the redeemer shall pay the difference. You may also choose to use the original dollar amount towards any service(s). 12 years or under are not allowed in the spa.

I have hated my hair for years. I have PLENTY of hair but it never was cut or styled correctly. Daniel Post evaluated my situation and knew exactly what my hair needed. The ability to evaluate the situation then see the appropriate end result is freakish! Nothing "cookie cutter" he evaluates each situation individually which makes him the "hair stylist savant"! Last month I had an appointment with Ashlyn. I was quoted $65 for color, $65 for haircut and blow dry. I go in and as she is washing my hair she asked it I wanted it conditioned - I agreed. The total bill was $155. Ok - $25 for conditioner - a bit steep so I won't do that again. I called last week to make an appointment - now color is $90 and $45 to blow dry. $135 and no haircut.
I declined but she agreed to color my hair for $65. I waited 4 days and then I go in and she pulls me to the side and says it is $90. I told her we agreed to $65 and she said she would lose money at that rate. So I asked her why didn't she call me and she said she did not have my phone number. Meanwhile - she asks for my number - and up comes my name and phone number. She's young and she has a lot to learn. So she will learn through this review because I have no intention of ever going to her - or the salon again.

Kaylee at John of Italy Salon is the best. My wife needed a special appointment today and she was more than accommodated! This time of year is difficult because everyone needs their hair cut or treated before the holidays. Kaylee got my wife in and made her appointment a day to remember. Not all hair stylist are as amazing as Kaylee, if you are lucky enough to have her work with you you will not be disappointed. I also use her for my hair cuts, and she has never let me down. The salon itself is beautiful and very well run. It is clean and full of happy clients.
