I called on a saturday night and left a voicemail to see if they could fit me in the next day to my surprise I received a call sunday afternoon saying Yvette could fit me in at 5:30pm! All I gotta say is I got some thick ass hair that needed to be cut desperately and Yvette did that shit in an hour and made me look amazing as well as having good conversation the whole time! I'm used to sitting for about 3 hrs for my cuts but Yvette did me right! book w her asap!

My hairstylist Michelle is the best. She works well with my schedule, she's very knowledgeable of different hair problems, friendly, beautiful, just a pleasure to sit in her chair. I would recommend my family and friends to Pomp and especially to Michelle Riley

I called the store to find out that the workers from Southern Exposure now work here because there salon burned down. So sad. The person on the phone answered all my questions I appreciated the help

I got my hair done by Kelsey and she's absolutely amazing! I usually get haircuts and they always come out fantastic, but she recently colored my hair and we went with a balayage and it came out amazing. I love putting my hair down or up now and it just looks so much more lively and fun for the spring/summer. Thank you so much Kelsey UPDATE: Things went south in just a month.

I started to notice my color wasn't blended evenly and my hair was turning brassy. So I contacted Kelsey to see if she could fix it - especially my "money piece" because it was the most yellow part of my hair and too thin. Instead I left with a thick, not blended, platinum money piece on both sides. In just 2 weeks it turned into a yellow brassy color (again). Super unfortunate considering how much I paid but the salon owner and management were helpful and for that I am appreciative.

Angelica saved my hair, literally. I came in because my balayage but most importantly, the money piece was badly done by another stylist there, Kelsey. I spoke to the salon owner about the ordeal I was in and she guided me to Angelica. Not only is she super sweet, but also knowledgeable and an amazing stylist. She walked me through each step and what the final result would look like, which made me confident in her skills to help fix what happened to my hair. Needless to say, I almost cried in my seat.

The final look came out beautiful and all the brass color was gone and my hair is blended now. If I could give Angelica 10 stars, I would. THANK YOU. The three photos with my blue shirt are Angelica's work. The other three are what I dealt with for 2+ weeks before seeing Angelica

Brought my son to get a haircut, lady asked if he had a picture of the type of haircut he wanted. I guess telling her was not enough. She seemed inexperience. His haircut looked chopped. I felt bad for my son, we went there for a last minute haircut before a trip since his hair was so long. As the saying goes first impression last.

I reached out to Angelica to book an appointment for my girlfriend as a gift. Now she gets her hair done regularly by her. She is very sweet, personable and always a pleasure to talk to through text and in person. Each time she comes home from the salon she can't stop talking about how good her hair feels and it has really boosted her confidence. Highly recommended

Stephanie Rodriguez is my stylist. I had to be in the hospital for a procedure. Several of the nurses commented on how cute my haircut was. I said yes! It is short and sassy! It says something about the style and cut if you can lie in a hospital bed and still look good! Thank you, Stephanie! You are the best!

Over priced. Paid $130; $65 for a trim and $65 trim for a 6 year old. I was not happy but this was my mistake for not asking for the price before arriving. Staff was kind but I had to fix a spot on my daughters hair. After paying what I paid I was bothered that I had to do that. I pay $45 in the Bay Area at a nice salon like this. They are ridiculous, just shows what type of people the owners are, disgusting.

This place is a ripp off, I had an appt with Natalee, she charged me $380 for having a touch up high lights. My hair is very short. She said the total was $500, but just charging me $380 including my deposit:she said she was giving me a discount just Bc she felt bad for me Bc my hair was damaged. I think that's Bull shit. I've never heard of a $500 job for high light.

My husband and I are very upset and will never go back to this place ever again. It's really a ripp off. The price is ridiculous abs the job isn't even all that. Please people stay away from this place. money hungry workers.

I came here to get my haircut. Marcy cut my hair and styled it. She did exactly what I wanted and was super friendly! She was quick and ive never had a better hair cut : The salon was clean and welcoming. I will definitely be using Marcy again for my hair cuts! Highly recommend. Services: Hairstyling, Haircut

I enjoy going to pomp salon. This salon is relaxing, stylish, and professional. I drive 60 miles to have Vicki cut my hair, perfect cut every time

It's a very nice salon. I called to have my toddlers hair trimmed, and they were able to accommodate for him. I initially only asked if they cut toddlers hair, to which the receptionist answered yes. I didn't think about pricing, only figured it be a toddler price. The stylist was nice, and she did her best to trim my sons hair even though he was not enjoying the process.

After the haircut, the stylist mentioned to me, "So we don't have kids haircut prices here, so it will be $65.00." I was quite surprised, since I was told toddler cuts are done there. So, why wouldn't there be any toddler hair cut prices? I felt that the pricing was a bit absurd, seeing as to my toddler doesn't have nearly enough hair as an adult. Overall, not a terrible experience, but toddler hair pricing would be fair to have if you offer toddler hair cuts!

First time here & definitely will be coming back! I didn't expect for my appointment to be long but it went by fast & Kesley was great from the start washed my hair felt amazing to the detailing on cutting my hair with such great detail was very insight full i loved it!

I am traveling here from South Florida due to work and I came across this diamond of a salon! They treat you like family and are truly amazing! Thank you Sal for making me feel like family!

This salon is exceptional i love how its not so crowded and the stylists are very friendly and are always smiling

I'm sure there're talented stylists in here but I didn't get one. I saw Stefina Cuz and I will never go back again. I sat in the chair for an hour before she ever did anything to my hair. She disappeared twice for at least 45 minutes each time without ever saying what or where she was going. I had to go and get another employee to go find her. I was there for over 4 and a half hours and paid nearly $300 and was so incredibly disappointed with the end result.

My hair looked the same if not worse. I've never been more upset leaving a salon. I feel terrible having to leave this review because I know it can be damaging to a business but I feel so ripped off. I requested a root touch up and toner and I left with orange roots and dull hair. What an awful experience.

Absolutely amazing experience! I got a balayage don't know what the color is exactly but it's definitely lighter than my natural hair color. Kelsey was my stylist and did an amazing job:) It did take up more time than I thought BUT results were exactly what I wanted so I didn't mind at all! She was very patient with me and the process.

I have been wanting to dye my hair this color for a while and I'm so glad I did because it came out exactly how I wanted it:). It's kind of hard to see with the photos but it's definitely lighter! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

Do not EVER go to Kesley to get your hair done. My hair was down to my butt, i asked her for a trim and my hair is now up to my chest. I have never had such a horror experience at a salon. I cried for hours because of what she did to my hair. when i asked her to stop and she kept going. DO NOT GO TO KESLEY

I went to Cassie Renner for a balayage color and it was the best experience I've ever had! She was so sweet and made sure she understood what I wanted before she even started! Not only that but she also answered a lot of my questions and concerns afterwards with honestly and I couldn't be more thankful. I have gotten so many compliments from family and friends. and I did go from all natural to balayage and my hair is not damaged at allllll! Will definitely be going back.

Came in for a cut with Cassie. She did a fabulous job with a cut to fit my face shape and my request for an asymmetrical bob! From the wash to style, I had a great time. Thanks Cassie

I loved my experience at Pomp Salon! Marcy was awesome and she totally transformed my hair. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome/ experience for my hair and time. Marcy made sure she was achieving the goal I wanted for my hair while also figuring out what would work best for me by taking her time with me and explaining every step along the way I felt so comfortable there and we'll taken care of!

I recently went into POMP for a hair color with Kelsey who is interning there and from the moment she came to greet me she was happy, sweet and professional. She stayed this way the entire appointment. She was patient and confident and open to any new knowledge while being trained by Vicki. Vicki is also GREAT at what she does and shows amazing knowledge. Kelsey is lucky to be achieving knowledge and hands on training at this salon. Thank you Kelsey and Vicki!

5 stars for Marcy and making it a great experience at Pomp Salon. I've always wanted an ash/cool blonde balayage but other salons I've been to said they're unable to do it or they never achieved the color I wanted. Marcy on the hand took the time to walk through the steps with me and nailed it! I mean look at these photos! I am so appreciative of her for spending time on my stubborn, thick, Asian hair and I am so in love with my it. I will definitely be back going back to the salon in the future!

I could say so much about my experience at pomp salon but to sum it up all in one word CASSIE Cassie is AMAZING, not to mention her welcoming and reassuring personality. I came in with the idea of wanting to completely change my hair color, I showed her some inspiration pictures I had and she brought my vision TO LIIIIIFE! Not to mention my hair was virgin and so dark brown that it's easily mistaken for black, so I knew it would take lots of work and SKILL. Cassie went above and beyond to give me by far the best salon experience I've ever had! I'm not an easy one to please but CASSIE DEFINITELY DID THAT!

I went in asking for partial highlights since I needed something low maintenance and Stefina gave me exactly what I was looking for! I loved how she explained each step of the way and made sure my hair received minimal damage. I appreciated her honesty about upkeep and loved her confidence when it came to her own skills. I will definitely be back when it's time to get my hair toned!

I have my hair done by Kim I've known Kim for over 20 years. You won't find somebody so dedicated to her craft. Or friendly! I use to have my hair cut down town at Rose Barber Shop. But when Don retired I started going to Kim full time. This Woman will do a superb job weather your a man or woman! Thank you Kim for being the person who you are!

Seriously, this website for this salon looks more like a political fundraising campaign- I'm trying to book a appointment fir my sister for her birthday and I'm suffocated but the adds on the website asking to donate money to the salon because of covid- I'm trying to to give you my buisness as a sign of support but can't even get through to a voicemail or booking app. Times are tough for everyone right now. not trying to get bombarded with political nonsense, I'm trying to get AWAY from it. Hopefully someday they'll have a functioning website again that shows their work and let's u book appointments, not shoving their political agenda down people's throats.

I have anxiety every time I go get my hair done. I haven't found any hair salon I've loved since moving here from SoCal. But let me tell you that Alyssa blew my expectations out of the water! I absolutely loved what she did to my hair both in cut and color. I have stubborn, coarse Asian hair that hardly lifts. And nobody can ever cut it so that it lays right or even feels good but Alyssa did all of the above plus more. She's so sweet and makes you feel really comfortable. She also really takes all your wants into consideration and personalizes the color to suit your complexion and face shape.
