Kevin did an amazing job on my hair! He actually listened to what I wanted, and took the time to help me figure out a great cut! He took his time and did a great job! Highly recommend him and will definitely return! Thanks Kevin!

I have been going to Joseph's for 21 years. Their customer service is impeccable and really what has always kept me coming back! There is no other establishment in Louisville that compares to their customer service. They set the bar! The salon is beautiful and it's a perfect blend of fun and relaxation. From the moment you walk in, it is a well oiled machine!

They are prompt and very attentive and make sure your needs are completely taken care of. Stephanie Pedro is excellent and I have stuck with her all these years. She is so sweet and always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm completely satisfied with all my hair needs. I highly recommend her and Joseph's!

I had a less than desirable experience today at Joseph's Salon. During the winter months, and even more so recently, my already thin hair becomes extremely fragile and I have a lot of breakage/ split ends. I also work in healthcare so my hair is almost always pulled back in a ponytail which tends to cause damage as well. Today, one of the Master Stylists was noticing the fragile condition of my hair and recommended not putting any color in it because it may hurt my hair more- and I appreciated this advice and agreed that just a cut would be best.

However the conversation took a turn when she brought over another Master Stylist and the two of them proceeded to ask me personal medical questions; including asking if I had blood work done recently because I have "thyroid hair". All of this was being talked about in a not so quiet manner with other customers within close proximity. Not only were their comments completely outside of their scope of practice as beauticians - to be diagnosing a customer with an autoimmune disease - but quite honestly I found the the entire situation extremely embarrassing due to their lack of discretion.

If I am taking the time to go to a salon & spa on my day off, it is to make myself feel better - and these two Master Stylists certainly did not make me feel too good about myself. I did make my experience known to the receptionist and they were extremely apologetic and did their best to make better of the situation. Needless to say, I will never be returning there.

I have loved all my experiences at Joseph's! The environment is warm and the people are friendly. I was amazed by the inviting atmosphere and accommodations for covid (spaced out seating, mask wearing, etc). I felt very comfortable with my visit. I cannot speak more highly of this salon!

First time client! I went in for shellac manicure and Liz did an amazing job. She was easy to talk to and very friendly and professional. Definitely would go back to her! My nails look great. I then went over to have a scalp treatment done (I've never had one before so I was really looking forward to it). Per the Joseph's website, this is supposed to be a 30 minute service. The lady was done in 14 minutes. I felt like it was fairly rushed. Because I've never had one before I'm not even certain all the steps were completed.

Cheers to all our hair and makeup ladies who made our group feel so pretty before our friends wedding! The hospitality and service was top notch! Special thanks to Karen and Kaylin for their work on the bride and myself!

I showed up for my appointment a few minutes early and got in right away. The 2 ladies at the front desk were very friendly. The massage therapist was also very nice. Overall a good experience and I would definitely return.

The staff were extremely kind & made you feel comfortable. They listened to what you want & earnestly try to accommodate to your needs. I was pleased with my results & I had many things done. I had a manicure, facial, hair cut & styled, & my makeup done. Plus, they had scheduled me in on such short notice for all of that pleasant pampering. I will go back.
