Just had the RUDEST and I think FRANKLY RACIST hairdresser here - I think this evil woman's name is Celina or something to that effect. She used the previous person's linen on me and didn't even wash her hands after opening the trash can and throwing something into it. When I asked for this woman's opinion on my hair the woman snapped back at me. The only possible explanation for this is that I am a person of colour. I want to speak to a manager about this.

Liked hair stylist for myself but my family members didn't like what they did to their hair. There is a ongoing turn over of staff. You get the stylists card and then they no longer work there. Very frustrating. I miss the days where you would get a good wash and style with your cut. The cost is high just for a spray and clip.

My whole family has used this location for years and we've never been disappointed. I love all of the employees & the atmosphere. I had the pleasure of meeting Starr today! She did a lovely job. I loved her humor and honesty. My hair came out PERFECT! Geraldine has cut my little boys hair and she is so great! Cory has cut my husband, Garrett's hair and did an excellent job. I also met Rita and she is awesome too! I love these folks. They always brighten my day with laughter. I will always go to this location!

Got highlights and a layered trim from Mariam today since my regular hair colorist has been having a lot of health issues lately and hasn't been as reliable. Mariam did an excellent job and I opted for a hair moisturizing treatment as well, b/c the prices are so good at Supercuts. I paid half what I usually pay for cut and color in West LA and I'm happy with the results.
I like how quiet this salon is. It seems like mostly men popping in for haircuts and there's hardly any sound except for KEarth playing on the radio. I love not having to chit/chat when I'm getting my hair colored, and I'm thinking about coming back b/c the parking is easy at this location and it seems simple to schedule appointments. Really happy with all of it;

This has been my go to hair place since I arrived in in the Los Angeles area, 8 years ago. Nothing fancy or Hollywood about this service, just a reasonable priced haircut with no frills attached. They have a generous loyalty program that provides points for free haircuts or discounted products. Call ahead before leaving and you will never have to wait.
Plenty of free parking in the Gateway Center at Santa Monica and LaBrea. I am so happy this location emerged from the pandemic crisis as many haircutting salons did not. I highly recommend Irina as your hair stylist.

I set an appointment to come in. It didn't give me the option to select for doing a blow drying services so I put in the services that I wanted and was going to let them know that I also needed a blow dry afterwards. The lady that I spoke with at the front was not remorseful or acted like she didn't care at all and if the services are unavailable after a specific time the website should also state it. Of course I left and didn't make a fuss but I thought this was a poor experience!

In the time of Covid, this place promised to be a Covid safe stylist. But then when I went in, the woman cutting my hair removed my mask without my consent, and I had to tell her 3 times that I wanted to keep my mask on before she let me put it back on. Then, after I put it back on, she laughed at me. I'm never coming here Update: The description of the incident outlined by the Supercuts employee below is a lie.

***LGBT friendly!*** I went to this place with my trans friend when he needed a haircut and they were so super respectful to him. We were a little nervous walking in there because the stylist was an older man and, well, this is Oklahoma so we're used to being treated a certain way, but he was so incredibly kind and professional. (I can't remember his name but I think he's the only male stylist there) He used the proper pronouns, was friendly and courteous the entire time, and gave him the best haircut I think I've ever seen him with, and it was super cheap! If you're trans and worried about going to a barber and how you'll be treated, go here. You'll be in good hands.

Wendy, the store manager, did my hair. She was so friendly and extreme helpful when it came to what is should do. Wendy, washed the cut my hair when I told her I was attending a wedding later that day she beautifully styled it for me. My bill was 30 something and gave her a $20 tip. I will back. It wasn't what I expected to get from Supercuts. Exceeded my expectations in every way!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value My husband and I and both of our girls got our hair cut with Lauren. She did great with the kids for their first hair cuts ever and ours as well. The staff is all very friendly and the environment is pleasant. Will take them there for all of their cuts! Thank you! I had the privilege of getting my hair done by Jessica Ribeli. I drove around looking for a place to get my hair done. I went to one place whose hours had changed, and they were not open yet. I went to a 2nd place, and they were really busy. I ended up at Supercuts with Jessica. And I am SO GRATEFUL God guided me here! Jessica was so professional.
This was the best shampoo and condition I have ever had. She trimmed and straightened my hair, and it looked better than it had in a long time. I felt so good Easter weekend with my new do! Jessica was so kind, compassionate, and is an incredibly talented Salon Professional. I will continue to go to Jessica - and only her. She was just that good. I left feeling refreshed and empowered. Supercuts - you have a Gift in this Young Lady. She is a real Gem! Thanks, Jessica! You made me look and feel GREAT! I'll see you soon!

I came in with a pretty reasonable request: zero on the side, 4 on top, and middle fade. Can't be any more simple than that. Well, I just checked myself in the mirror. it is not good. That is NOT a fade. And good fading should be one of the basics when you go into a barbershop. The lady was nice though. but the whole haircut took 15 minutes. Whenever I go to other barbershops, it's at least 30 minutes. and the difference is showing in the results now.

Ok so I get it. Its a 25 dollar haircut. You really get what you pay for. The salon is clean, the staff is friendly, the wait is short and the price is cheap. HOWEVER, the haircut you get will be botched if you're a woman. I was in desperate need of a trim so I thought why not give it a go how bad could it be. Well, it could be better but it also could be worse.
The woman sat me down and I told her just a trim, I'd like to keep the length. She did great everywhere except for my "bangs" and by bangs I mean the hair closest to my face that happened to be a little shorter than the rest of my hair. I have no clue what she did but she chopped them off in such a way that it doesn't blend with my hair anymore. She also insulted my hair color which was super nice of her. TLDR: You get what you pay for and you don't have to pay extra to be insulted (its free of charge)

I don't understand how you can hide messing up someone's hair so bad. Didn't do what I asked. Cut way to much off the layers. To where I don't have enough to fix. I'm calling to get a refund or I'll stop payment. I've been crying all day. They did not dry my hair so I could not fully see how short she actually cut my layers which I had started out saying I didn't want short.
Then as I explained I wanted an extra inch off my over all length she almost took off 3. Don't do what the hell you want, we come to you with what we want. I have the ugliest short haircut NOONE would ask for

Let me start by saying, I visit a Supercuts location once a month. My hair is super long and I need an inch or two trimmed off the end quite often. I just get a wash and a straight cut across the bottom. I like Supercuts as a chain, it's simple, relatively cheap and I can usually walk in without much of a wait. Today's experience however wasn't very pleasant.
The stylist didn't greet me with her name or ask me how my day was. She simply said, "shampoo?" I felt more like I was at a car wash than a hair salon. She was rough and pulled my hair. She just lifted my head around like it wasn't attached to a person. Next, we moved to the chair where she combed my hair without even looking at me. Not a single word or smile the entire time.
She then says "how much do you want to cut?" After arguing briefly over what 2 inches looks like, she sarcastically tells me she can get out a ruler and measure. nice. Overall this was a poor experience, the stylist was just unpleasant from beginning to end. Did she manage to cut a straight line? Yes. But it's pretty difficult to mess up. I probably won't be back to this location.

I went there last Sunday and oh, what a mistake. I asked for a bang and to jut cut about 2 inches on my ends. The bang was an extremely, EXTREMELY, bad idea. And I feel bad because the young woman was very nice but this haircut is not good at all. First, I asked for a bang not too short because my hair - even if I use iron on it - will go up in a strange kind of way and it will look terrible.
She told me okay and was doing her thing, when she was about to cut I asked her again not to do it too short. I also explained to her that it was okay that the bang would go over my glasses because I would put it on the side anyway. Well, it ended up way, way too short. I have thin hair so it just look desperately horrible. I also asked for the hair on the side to be cut in like a cascade way so it would not be the bang and then very long hair on both side.
That was not done either. The bang is not straight, there's some bit longer then others, once again I have thin hair so it really looks bad. So I know, hair grows, but I've been coming from very far to have healthier hair and it's really, really, really disappointing. Especially when I showed a picture of the exact haircut I wanted.
First time I cut my hair in a year and it doesn't even look nice. On top of it, my hair are so dry now, like never before. I don't understand what she did, it's just horrible. Also, little tip: don't tell your customer it's okay that you messed up because the hair will grow in two weeks. That's rude. Now I look like a mix of a poodle, Sarah Fawcett and Louis XIV.

When I moved to the area last year, all I needed was a quick, simple, easy & painless stop to get my haircut every couple months, and here I got fantastic service all around. This Supercuts is my go-to place, and it's, well, super. I've been to high-end salons that charge three times as much for a trim, but here the price can't be beat for some of the best haircuts I've had. Also--and maybe this is just the nature of my curly faded pixie cut--I'm always in and out in 20 minutes!
The stylists here are lovely. They'll offer their suggestions but they're not at all pushy if there's something specific you want. Almost every time I've had Veronica, who I can't recommend enough for being attentive and sweet, and I've also had Salvador who is just as much of a gem and super professional. They both stopped every so often to make sure I was happy with certain features as they were working, and they were glad to make any changes when I asked. I haven't tried their other services, but from my experiences, if all you're looking for is a breezy haircut, look no further!

I have been to this location before, but my experience today was outstanding. Ruby was my hair dresser & I couldn't have asked for anyone else! She took the time to tell me about my damage and made proper suggestions of fixing it without being pushy or steering away from what I wanted. She suggested products that are great for my hair type and extra tips for keeping it healthy. I am very pleased with my experience today. Thanks Ruby!

I am from the east coast so the CA sun and harsh water dried out my hair. It was so bad I literally had a massive tangle and could not brush without yanking on my hair. Anyway I needed my hair cut ASAP as in now and I called a few other paces and guess what a trim would be close to $200! I almost fell out of my chair. Anyway I asked Nicole- a LA local, where the heck could I just get a trim for under $100.
She said SuperCuts. So I thought fine ok. Note to east coast people if they don't list the price assume it's high. Don't just get a cut without knowing the price. Anyway SuperCuts could see me that day and I even called ahead so they could put my name down for noon. It is walk in only so they don't really do appointments, but you can call ahead and see how busy it is and they can put your name on a list.
Anyway Ruby was the hairdresser who not only trimmed my hair for $22 she also gave me some awesome hair tips. She told me only 10% of her clients are females-most are men. So, if you are looking for a quality cut I highly recommend Ruby. Ruby's Hair Tips: 1. Brush hair ends first to get out the tangles 2. Use a brush with little balls at the end to stimulate the scalp 3.
When you brush-after you have detangled start from the scalp and be gentle 4. Same when you use shampoo be gentle 5. Get your hair trimmed every 28 days.don't wait too long. Even if you come in for an eighth of a trim cut those split ends. So what happens when you wait too long to get a cut? You get split ends that continue up on up and get split ends upon split ends.
I was in and out in like 30 minutes. It's more to get the hair styled/shampoo/blow dry and I had places to be. Anyway, I will definitely get my hair cut more when I get back to the east coast and I highly recommend "it's a 10" a miracle leave in plus keratin. Thanks Ruby!
