I went to this salon today and am happy with my experience. Ray helped me and did an awesome job on coloring (balayage) my hair. He was very sweet and professional, I highly recommend him. Stephanie did an amazing cut on my long straight hair. I've had some pretty awful haircuts and was looking for someone who has been cutting hair for years. Not only is she skilled, but she brings in her adorable pup as a mascot of friendliness and sweetness!

Ray was absolutely amazing and took me in last minute to fix a disaster of a haircut I got from different salon.

I had Steph and she did a great job! Cut was super cute and even styled it! She was super friendly and had a cute dog too.

I had a similar experience to another reviewer, I scheduled an appointment for a haircut with Steph and did not quite get what I was looking for. I was really bummed about it, but decided to try and reach out to the owner Janan and I'm so glad I did. She was so kind and completely understood my situation, within a week she scheduled me with Ray who is amazing!

Such a pleasure to talk to and he fixed the haircut with magic scissors, I'm really in love with what he did : Great salon, and experience with Ray and Janan and I will definitely return for future cuts!

Lily has been coloring my hair for over two years now. She gets the tone and color right every time! She leaves my hair looking and feeling soft and healthy and the highlights looking very natural and not 'striped on.' I have long and very thick hair and I'm always out of there super fast too.

After decades of bleaching my hair, wanting to be perpetually blonde, Kaitlin convinced me that in order to regain healthy hair I needed to go a different route. I allowed her to determine the best way to move forward and trusted that she would work her magic, and she did! My new low lights look far more natural. I got married this week and had an appointment with Naomi at Salon Radiance 2 for my bridal hair and makeup. I confirmed with her again via text one week before. When I showed up at the salon at our designated time, it was dark and locked. I waited outside for 40 minutes, repeatedly calling and texting her with no response. I sat outside, alone, bawling because it was my wedding day.

I finally left and frantically did my own hair and makeup - I suck at doing hair and makeup which is why I booked a professional in the first place. I got a text from Naomi over 2 hours past our appointment time and way too late to be of any help, saying she "overslept" and her phone was on "do not disturb". I will forever remember my wedding day as starting with me crying on the sidewalk alone, and every time I look at pictures I will remember that I didn't feel as beautiful as every bride deserves to.

I would never trust Naomi or Salon Radiance as they clearly lack professionalism, trustworthiness, and overall human decency. Completely incomprehensible that this could happen to a bride.

Holly is my stylist and she is awesome. She listens to u and just overall has a pleasant personality. I get a Keratin Rx treatment every few months, and she gives me a fabulous haircut every time. And now she has a private room, she does pay extra for it (so tip her well ), but its worth it she says, because of this CoVid mess. Its just u and her in there.

I go back to her in a few months again. Yay! Holly. Oh! And the salon is really nice and clean too. Plus, its located in down town La Mesa, so u can go eat and shop after wards. U know.show off your fresh, new look.

Angelica Araiza gave me the shag haircut of my dreams. I almost fell asleep when she shampooed my hair. Her head massage was that good. Would highly recommend.

It was meant to be since I got Angelica as my stylist and she was super sweet and definitely listened to what I wanted. You won't go wrong with Angelica and I can't wait to come back! Ray was the absolute BEST! I had my hair done by another salon a few days before and it was terrible. It was the exact opposite of what I wanted. I sent a few pictures and texts to Ray and he fit me in on his day off! So nice! He fixed the awful job that was done to my hair and now my hair looks AMAZING! 10/10 recommend going to see Ray. He's the best! Will definitely continue to come see Ray whenever my hair needs it!

I've been researching Habit Hand-Tied extensions for a couple of years now. I booked an appointment with a stylist at another salon. After doing an in-person consultation, putting down a deposit, and exchanging multiple emails with that stylist, I was excited to finally experience these extensions myself. Unfortunately, after all of our discussions the stylist emailed me one day advising what I wanted was "out of the scope of her capabilities." Christine Shamo has done my color in the past and her work is never short or amazing.

She recently got certified in the Habit Hand-Tied method, so I entrusted her to put these extensions in for me. I was her first official client for this method and she did not disappoint! I am so happy with my new hair. If you want the hair of your dreams, Christine is your girl!

I started seeing Naomi (for cuts and color) in June when I moved from Seattle to La Mesa and will continue to be a repeat client due to her solid professional judgement, caring service and amazing ability to translate a pinterest photo into what is realistically possible. In the previous 2 years I went from a natural level 5 to a level 9 platinum blonde.

My previous stylist was terrific about making sure I made the change slowly as to not damage my hair but there was some due to the radical level of change. In our first session Naomi assessed my hair, my hair routine (I sent a shelfie of all my current hair care products), my tolerance for upkeep and created a going-forward plan that would revive my hair and be something I would actually follow. I trust her to act in my hairs best behalf and loves that she offers alternatives and choices.

Updated review. Samantha is a color slayer. I first went to her with damaged hair from a previous stylist. She color corrected me and nursed my hair back to health. Two years and some change later my hair was healthy and my natural color is dark brown. I had been wanting to go back to blonde, but she cared more about the integrity of my hair so she told me my hair wasn't ready after the first year.

We addressed the going blonde subject again after year 2 and she agreed my hair was healthy enough. I showed her pictures of what I wanted to do and she explained that pulling from brown to blonde can be a process and take a few sessions. I told her I trusted her fully and let her do her thing. We set up an appointment and look at the transformation.

This review is long overdue. About two years ago I decided to get blond hair. I had black hair. Let me tell you that Alva has been taking care of my hair. I understood that this will be a long process if I don't want to damage my hair. After 2 years, and a lots of funny color in my hair, I have beautiful blond and healthy hair, thanks to Alva.

Also I took all her advice maintaining my hair. Yes being blonde is not on the cheaper side. But if you want healthy and beautiful hair, you need to follow your hairdresser advice. Also you need to be very patient, specially if you want to be blonde from a darker color. Sure you can get blonde after one visit but than don't be surprised that you hair is damaged.

The salon has a great vibe, everyone is very friendly. It's a clean and professional environment. I'm blessed to have Alva is my hairdresser. She is professional, perfectionist and she has a great humor! I am always looking forward to see her! I definitely recommend her! She is amazing.

I came in to get my hair dyed a platinum/white blonde. got told that She would get it as blonde as possible without it falling out, which to my concern I questioned her if I should even proceed. I got told yes. The color I got wasn't a drastic change and actually faded in about a week. So my color is already gone. but the damage is definitely 100% there and becoming horrifyingly worse. my entire top layer of hair is so broken and fried it feels like wires. I'm currently trying treatments to get it back to healthy. but if my hairstylist knew I couldn't get what I actually wanted and risked really damaging my hair. then I shouldn't of been sat down in the chair. very disappointed by integrity of this company. ***UPDATE***9 months later and my hair is still very damaged and falling out, I have gone to multiple hair stylist and tried multiple hair products, hair is still VERY fried and falling out everyday.

I believe hair really makes a person and I literally can't even curl my hair for a wedding! I don't think I can ever dye my hair again. ****UPDATE**** Janan thank you for taking the time to read my update! I can definitely understand how you would want to defend your stylist. But unfortunately that makes no difference to my hair. My hair was not damaged when I came in and hadn't had treatment in over a year at that point of service. *Also I asked your stylist if I should proceed based on what she saw of my hair* The pathetic use of pulling at "common issues" won't work here. My hair was completely damaged from here and specifically here, and based on the reviews and messages I get I'm not the only one.

I came today to see Adrienne for a cut and color. What I walked away with was DREAM HAIR! Adrienne is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable on hair color, toner, and all things Hair. I showed her a picture from Pinterest and said I was going for a similar look, I knew she wouldn't be able to match it perfectly, but I was super impressed by the outcome. Adrienne is a perfectionist which meant my hair turned out amazing!

The salon atmosphere is really relaxed, prices are completely reasonable. Adrienne is a true artist when it comes to hair and I'm so happy to have found her as a hair stylist!
