In my opinion, Morgantown Beauty School is the worst beauty school in Morgan- town and the surrounding areas. I was in the vicinity of the school and decided to give them a try. I walked in and asked for a pedicure. I noticed that the student had a file that was cut in half. When I asked her about it, she said that the school had to cut corners! Who would cut a file in half and give each student one half of it?
The student used a metal pusher on my cuticles which is a big no-no in any state! She put cuticle remover on my toenails and never washed it off. When I questioned her about it, she assured me that it was okay because it was in her notes! She never used a pumice stone on my heels.a pedicure is not a pedicure unless the heels of the feet are scrubbed using a pumice stone or brush!
I could not believe what I was seeing and what the student was telling me. When I spoke to her instructor, I was told that pedicures and manicures are not on the state boards, therefore, they are not something that they concentrate on. Well, if that is the case, then they should not charge what the other finer school in Morgantown charges for the same services. What I received was not a pedicure. I do not know what anyone would call it.

Maddy Simpson did an amazing job! I'm so happy with my experience today! Everyone is super friendly, teachers are there to make sure everything is going well, but don't hover like some other beauty schools I've been to. Wish I would have done it sooner! Can't wait to go back a in a couple months to chop it all off!

I have been there multiple times and have been seen by multiple people. If you're just getting a hair cut they're a great place to go. If you ever want your hair dyed I would suggest doing it at home before I ever suggest having them do it. Everytime I've gotten my hair dyed it's been a waste of time and money and O end up having to fix it myself or pay someone else to fix it.

Sad that there's not many good reviews. I was feeling skeptical because it's a school, but the cheap prices helped make my decision easy. I got a body perm there and it turned out great! The students are supervised very well. (the teacher came around at least 10 times to check on them) They can spend a lot of time making sure everything turns out just how you want them because they have a little bit more time than a regular salon too!
